All he wants to do is help, you can't fault him for that. Surely anyone in that position would want to help.
Whether he should or not is another question but Peter's a good man. He can't in good conscience, turn his back on a friend.

But he is not helping her with the impending court case - by visiting her, it gives grounds for people to believe that they were having an affair.

I don't think he's doing Carla any favours in the long run but I honestly can't see him turning his back on her just now, no matter what Leanne wants.

Irrespective of what Leanne wants or doesn't want, he is being very feeble-minded if he thinks that going round to see her will help her; he needs the counsellor to tell him to leave her alone until after the court case because he is not helping her by making contact in that way, silly, silly boy, he is very lacking in common sense.

There's no intrinsic difference, in my opinion.
I can't remember the details now, but wasn't carla the sole proprieter at that time, and luke strong an employee? However, it's pointless worrying about it, for two reasons:
a) in real life, it would depend on the partnership agreement, and
b) this is a soap, and one in which legal realities are completely ignored.
I suspect DC Malone's astute enough not to have been taken in by Frank, despite his boasts to the contrary, but I don’t think she believes for a second Peter’s claims that he and Carla are purely platonic. It’s not surprising really, given his apparent instinct to protect her at all costs.
I agree that he isn't doing Carla any favours when it comes to the rape case, but I'd also agree that she'd sooner have him around than not - even if it does potentially look bad to an outsider.

There are no gay female bars or clubs in the UK. Just as there are no gay male bars or clubs.
You can advertise it any way you like. Saying they go to a lesbian bar is a joke. It's a pub that promotes itself towards gay women, you don't have to be gay to go to one.
I'm getting tired of soaps using the word gay to mean male.

I doubt it will just be girls in the club. The Sun spoiler said it was a guy bothering Sophie there, so it could be who Amber is protecting her from.

I have been wondering about that myself. They cannot be brother and sister since that has been done before in soaps, recently in Emmerdale.

No I don't know what's coming up, however I doubt the writers would just leave it there. My guess is that he will be away for a week or two, and then some stuff happens with Carla a bit more on her own and then they will pick it up again. Now what
I want to know is, is Leanne going with him?

Perhaps this was due to the actor playing Peter being ill? - As I remember he was for a while
I doubt they would leave it there.
