Monday 7 October 2013 At the hospital, Nick's in a foul mood. The extent of his brain damage is still unknown but Leanne is assured he's making good progress. At home, David reveals his pact with Nick to Tina. He's torn, not knowing whether to be relieved or worried, and when Nick summons him to his bedside, he dreads the outcome. Nick remembers everything but what is he going to do about it? Meanwhile, Kylie's suspicious as to why David's spending so much time with his ex, Tina. Roy plans a surprise trip to Blackpool for Hayley before her chemo starts. She's keen to crack on with his driving lessons. Roy's analytical approach to driving doesn't make things easy for Hayley. Michelle's devastated to hear that her parents are divorcing. Determined to cheer her up, Steve continues with his secret efforts to buy the pub, convinced it's what Michelle needs. Peter's struggling with the paperwork at the factory and tells Carla they need to recruit someone to fill Michelle's role. Sally's convinced it will be her but when Peter takes matters into his own hands, it looks like Sally may be disappointed. Meanwhile, Tim comes out of hiding but will Sally buy his excuses about having to work away? Monday 7 October 2013 David tells Tina he has to know if Lily is his. She warns him of the pitfalls, could he handle bringing up his brother's child? David's not sure but he has to know and orders a DNA test. Meanwhile,Kylie's growing increasingly insecure about the amount of time David is spending with Tina but when she questions him about his whereabouts, he lies, firing up Kylie's suspicions further. Roy continues to plans a surprise trip to Blackpool and Hayley's desperate to know his secret. Steve asks Stella to keep quiet for a few more days as he reveals the money for the sale of the pub is now sorted. Steve's confident he's giving Michelle exactly what she needs but as she stresses about her dad, who Steve seems to have accidently set up with Eileen, Stella questions his surprise tactics. Carla's not happy that Peter's offered the PA's role to Eva without consulting her. Wednesday 9 October 2013 Roy and Hayley head to a cancer support group and he's worried that she may find it upsetting. Hayley assures him it helps to share experiences with others in the same situation. There Hayley meets Jane who has terminal pancreatic cancer. Refreshed by Jane's honesty about her fate, Hayley declares she too intends to live life to the full. But when she asks Roy to help her plan her final days, explaining she wants to die at home with him by her side, will Roy be able to deal with it? Tina promises to help David with the DNA test. Kylie walks in on what looks like a cosy encounter. Rattled, she asks Eva to keep an eye on Tina in the pub. David soon arrives to see Tina, explaining he's got his and Lily's samples and is sending them off. But Kylie suddenly appears, having been alerted by Eva. Michelle despairs over the state of her parents' marriage. Steve assures her everything will soon be ok. Confused by his cryptic comments, Michelle asks Steve what he's up to. Relinquishing power has Carla struggling as Peter starts to get more involved in business at Underworld. Stella, Eva and Gloria toast the sale of the Rovers as they prepare to move into no.13. Friday 11 October 2013 No Corrie Tonight. Watch for an hour long episode on Sunday, Oct. 13 |

It is thought that this year's festive episodes have already been planned, leaving no room for additional storylines." http://www.digitalspy.ie/soaps/s3/co...l-le-vell.html It looks like he'll return early next year but I don't think Gloria leaves until March, Stella/June. Maybe if Tim has moved in with Sally by then, he'll stay in Dev's flat. |

They've managed to arrange that very quickly, haven't they? And since no. 13 has only two bedrooms, where is everyone going to sleep?

All the properties in Coronation Street are Tardises (or is that Tardii?), they have flexible walls, can accommodate 2 or 20 people at the drop of a hat. Probably like all soaps!

They can change the front room into a bedroom, other residents of the street have done it

Well I assume if Eva moves into Eileen's with Jason, she'll actually sleep with him there, in his bedroom. ...............

Wouldn't surprise me if they put her with Dev until she leaves. Definite chemistry between her and dev the other week. |

Wouldn't that be rather quick? They've only just started their romance, and they're leaving the rovers next week. And isn't ... the other son ...... due to make a return? ![]() And yes, for normal people, it would be way too soon for Jason and Eva to be shacking up together, but this is Corrie - just think of it sort of like time-lapse photography.

It's kind of hard at the moment to see what gripping sls they can come up with for her once she's out of the Rovers and can't invite people into the back any more.

Oh yes, Todd, forgot about him. Oh well, he'll have to learn how the other half lives and sleep with Jason and Eva.

The surprise relationship will no doubt cause fireworks on the cobbles if Peter's fiancée Carla Connor ever discovers what he is up to. Blackburn told Inside Soap: "Tina's had a hideous old year with the surrogacy drama and losing Tommy - but she's no saint. She's capable of making mistakes and falling in love with the wrong person. "She'll start a feud with Tracy and Rob, before falling into Peter's arms. Unfortunately for Tina, she'll find herself in a place where both Tracy and Carla have reasons to hate her!" On Peter and Carla's future, he commented: "When I took over, they'd come back from America - but I kept reading weeks of scripts where they didn't have much to do. I wanted to address that as soon as we could. "We see Peter and Carla as being like Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. They'll make it to the altar later this year, that I can say. But whether they end up together for life or not, I don't think there is a damn thing either could do to the other that would fundamentally stop them loving each other! It's just that love isn't always enough." Blackburn also revealed which characters will be taking centre stage at Christmas this year. Asked how he will make sure Coronation Street beats EastEnders in the festive ratings battle, he replied: "Simply by having fantastic drama. It's Hayley's last ever Christmas, but her best ever. Gail will try to get the Platts and Prices to heal old rifts, and it'll be explosive for Carla, Peter and Tina as well." |

There's a very surprising part in the last post : Quote:

There are months of scripts in which various characters don't appear - that's in the nature of the soap. Why did he want to do something about the fact that there are a few weeks when peter and carla didn't appear? Most of us are grateful for the fact. Does this mean he sees peter and carla as the most important characters? |
