I'm glad he wants Carla and Peter on screen often, they're my favourite characters.

Burton and Taylor loved each other but their relationship was marred with affairs and alcohol. That will probably be Peter and Carla next year.

Both of them can be self-destructive.

I know its never going to go this way, but I really want Leanne and Peter back together, they work at their best together. Leanne is too toned down with Nick and Peter is too domesticated with Carla... *sigh*

It may happen.
Peter is emasculated now. Carla's character has changed him.

Burton and Taylor were not together for ever but remained friends.

Over on Coronation Street, viewers will finally find out whether baby Lily's father is David or Nick later this month.

Upcoming episodes see David (Jack P Shepherd) arrange a DNA test under the strict instruction of Nick, who wants to know the truth once and for all.

With Nick (Ben Price) threatening to tell the police the truth about the road crash unless he gets what he wants, David has no choice but to go through with the test.

Once the results come through a few days later, a nervous David has ex-girlfriend Tina McIntyre by his side as he opens the all-important letter. The identity of the father is being kept strictly under wraps until transmission, but as the results sink in, David is emotional and Tina offers a hug.

Later, David calls at the hospital and shows Nick the results. The feuding brothers then throw insults at each other and when David leaves, he doesn't realise that he has left the incriminating letter behind.

When Leanne picks the letter up shortly afterwards, Nick is horror-struck. Is she about to discover the truth?

Coronation Street airs these scenes in an hour-long episode on Sunday, October 13 at 7pm on ITV.

Incriminating? Horror struck? Truth?

I wonder who the father could be ....

Probably neither of them just so they can string it out further. We'll have a cliff hanger on Christmas Day while we are left wondering if the father could be Norris!

I'm surprised Michelle Keegan wasn't in some serious trouble after posting the photo of a script which revealed that David is in fact the father.

It could have been a red herring deliberately planted. Soap people have given out "accidental" revelations that have not been correct before!

David can't be ruled out as being the father because him and Nick would have similar DNA being brothers.

No, we went through this a few pages back. When a test says 'cannot be ruled out', it means it is over 99% certain that he is. It's just the way they phrase it.

David and Nick are only half brothers so a DNA test can easily distinguish the DNAs.

In any event, it seems perfectly logical that David would be the father. He and Kylie were at it like rabbits for ages. Kylie went with Nick once. What are the odds?

This intrigues me:
Kylie is left reeling from a shock discovery!

- the discovery being that she will know that David has known about her one-night stand and that he was behind the vendetta?

Oh, "the troof".

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s3...s-secrets.html
Kylie Platt will be left horrified next week as she discovers all of the secrets that husband David has been hiding from her.

Kylie is currently unaware of the fact that David (Jack P Shepherd) knows about the one-night stand she had with his half-brother Nick Tilsley last Christmas.

Next week's episodes see Kylie left in turmoil as she finds out the truth at last, including how a vengeful David terrorised Nick (Ben Price) with a secret vendetta before causing a road crash which nearly killed the businessman.

The revelations for the Platt family begin when Kylie finds the results of the DNA test which David secretly organises to determine baby Lily's paternity. Shocked and needing to know what's going on, Kylie privately demands answers from Nick.

Paula Lane, who plays Kylie, told itv.com: "Kylie confronts Nick and he's forced to admit that David found out about their one-night stand months ago, and it was David who orchestrated the vendetta against him. She can't comprehend that someone she shares her bed with could do this."

The actress added: "She realises with shock that David tried to kill Nick. At this point I think she feels the lowest she's ever felt."

Kylie's discovery could lead to a big showdown at Lily's christening, which will take centre stage in an hour-long Coronation Street special on Wednesday, October 16.

With Kylie feeling confused and disgusted, it's unlikely that she will be able to keep a lid on her emotions as the church fills with guests.

Lane said: "There have been way too many secrets held back. Kylie's not really aware of her inhibitions any more."

http://tv.uk.msn.com/news/blackburn-...-for-wrong-man
Coronation Street producer Stuart Blackburn has confirmed that Tina McIntyre will have a "shock fling" with Peter Barlow.

There had been rumours that Tina, played by Michelle Keegan, will enjoy a passionate affair with engaged recovering alcoholic Peter (Chris Gascoyne), after her love interest Tommy Duckworth (Chris Fountain) was sacked from the Street.

Stuart told Inside Soap: "Tina's had a hideous old year with the surrogacy drama and losing Tommy - but she's no saint. She's capable of making mistakes and falling in love with the wrong person."

Stuart teased that Tina's fling will have consequences for the barmaid, particularly with Peter's fiancee Carla Connor (Alison King) and Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford).

"She'll start a feud with Tracy and Rob, before falling into Peter's arms. Unfortunately for Tina, she'll find herself in a place where both Tracy and Carla have reasons to hate her!" he continued.

The storyline is tipped to reach its dramatic conclusion at Christmas, and help pave the way for Michelle's real-life exit from the ITV soap.

The former Emmerdale producer also revealed that Tina's short-lived affair with Peter won't stand in the way of his wedding.

"We see Peter and Carla as being like Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. They'll make it to the altar later this year, that I can say," Stuart hinted.

"But whether they end up together for life or not, I don't think there is a damn thing either could do to the other that would fundamentally stop them loving each other! It's just that love isn't always enough."
