If the work dries up for Michelle Keegan after she leaves 'Coronation Street' next year there'll be no way for her to return to the cobbles as the soap's writers plan to kill off her character, Tina McIntyre.

Show bosses are reportedly planning a 'whodunnit' storyline, which they hope will get the nation guessing after Tina comes to a grisly end.

http://metro.co.uk/2013/10/17/michel...-plot-4149550/

‘It will set up a cliffhanger leaving viewers guessing who killed her. But Michelle’s fans will be devastated as it means Tina will never be able to return.’

But while the news might upset Corrie viewers, it doesn’t seem Keegan will mind her character meeting her maker in the dramatic storyline.

A pal last night said: ‘Her exit storyline will be a massive deal and she’s happy with whatever the producers come up with.’

I hope its Tracy, or at least she is accused, and can be sent back to where she belongs. Or ends up being killed trying to escape.

Never expected Tina to die though.

I hope it's her, too.

Nor I!
It seems if you ask to leave then you are killed off now.

Hopefully if it is Tracy, Stuart Blackburn can sort out the stupid mess of her return and have her sent down for Charlie Stubb's murder as well, have the police reopen the case.

Please send her away for two murders, double time and hopefully she is killed off in prison.

Coronation Street bosses have played down claims that Tina McIntyre will be killed off next year.

Michelle Keegan, who plays Tina, will leave the show next year and the show's story team are currently making plans for her exit plot.

However, a Coronation Street spokesperson told Digital Spy this morning that a final decision has yet to be made over Tina's fate.

The representative said: "'Michelle will be on screen until early summer 2014 and many ideas for Tina's departure are currently being discussed - nothing has been finalised."

Monday 21 October 2013

Having reached an impasse, Hayley is staying at Fiz and Tyrone's while Roy's at the cafe lost in worry. With her first-hand experience of cancer and it's effects on a sufferer's family, Sally offers to speak to Roy. She's very honest about the way her cancer affected her and as Roy admits Hayley is showing no consideration for his feelings, he's on the brink of telling all about her end of life plans. But when Hayley is suddenly taken ill and collapses, Fiz calls an ambulance and Roy puts their argument aside as he races over to be by her side.

When Rita starts asking how long her ring will be at the jewellers, Dennis cracks and tells Tina of his stupid mistake. Knowing how upset Rita will be if she discovers Dennis has sold her ring, Tina insists on using the money from her surrogacy fee to buy it back from Tracy and Rob's shop.

Michelle prepares to leave with Barry, insisting he has to tell her mum how sorry he is. Liz tells Steve it's time to man-up and support his girlfriend.

Stella and Gloria help out at the Bistro. Gail turns her back on David. He begs Gail to hear him out and let him see Lily and Max.

Monday 21 October 2013

At the hospital, tests reveal Hayley has a bacterial infection. Roy fears that Hayley's cancer has spread but he's assured that with antibiotics they should see a response in 24 hours. As a concerned Fiz and Tyrone leave the couple to talk, still in the dark about what caused their row, a solemn Roy sits with Hayley. Her decision is still weighing heavily on his mind and when Hayley apologises for leaving him, Roy hopes Hayley's changed her mind about ending her life.

Tina and Tracy have a face off while Rob completes Dennis' transaction, selling the ring back to Tina for a considerable amount more than Dennis sold it for. Tina's disgusted and vows to get revenge on Rob and Tracy. When Tracy purposefully lets slip to Rita just where her ring has been for the last few days, Tina's more fired up than ever.

Gail hands David a bag of his clothes. He apologises for his terrible actions. Gail does feel some guilt for her part in proceedings but refuses to forgive David. Gutted, David goes to leave but when Kylie returns with Lily, his face lights up. Will Kylie allow him to see Lily or will she continue to demand he stays away from her and the kids, despite her fear of being a single mum?

Liz is loving pub life again but makes it clear to Steve he'll need to pull his weight. Struggling to juggle work at both the Rovers and Streetcars, Steve starts to wonder what he's let himself in for.

Wednesday 23 October 2013

Roy's relieved to hear the antibiotics are fighting Hayley's infection. Knowing they need to talk, Hayley thanks Roy for not telling anyone about her intention to end her own life. Still vehemently opposed to her plans, Roy vows to try and change her mind but Hayley insists that won't happen.

Tina confronts Rob and tells him if Tracy ever pulls a stunt like that again she'll come looking for her. Peter listens, impressed. Tina finds David living rough and offers him a bed for a few nights but when a furious Tommy finds out, how will he react?

Determined to win Faye round, Sally suggests a trip to the cinema. Faye's not impressed but Anna urges her to be polite. However, when Tim fails to show up, will Faye use this as an excuse to get out of spending time with Sally?

Chesney's gutted when his market stock is stolen from the lock-up.

Friday 25 October 2013

Shocked with Tommy's actions and annoyed at Tracy, Tina spots the chance for some mischief making and plants a pair of lacy knickers down the passenger seat of Rob's unattended car after Tracy had been gloating to Tina about her romantic boyfriend and how he's taking her out for a posh lunch.

A hungover Tim tries to apologise to Sally for his no show. She makes it clear she's had enough of his behaviour. She knows he's making her look a fool but will Sally be warned off unreliable Tim and take Anna's advice? Meanwhile, Tim moans to Dev about Sally coming on too strong.

When Ches discovers the insurance company won't pay out for his stolen stock as a colleague left the lock-up open, Chesney's gutted. Sinead does her best to stay positive, insisting a new opportunity is round the corner for Chesney.

Brian's having cold feet about fostering.

Friday 25 October 2013

Tina's completely unrepentant as Tracy and Rob inspect the damage she's done to their shop. Intent on giving as good as she got, Tracy decides to make the damage worse in an attempt to increase their insurance claim. Tina faces a promising threat from her new enemy.

Tim's taken Dev's advice and has decided to do the right thing by Sally and put an end to their fling. But when Sally tells him she's sorry she's been too clingy will Tim have second thoughts?

When Chesney confides his woes in Dev, he shocks Chesney by asking him to become manager of the kebab shop.

A new job catches Brian's eye. Stella gives Nick hope that Leanne may return.

I think he said he'd give her a good deal, so she may be paying below average.

Chesney has a lock-up? And a colleague? Since when?

And if chesney accepts the job of kebab manager, is he going to just dump lock-up and colleague?

(Can chesney even spell "colleague?).

Ok, thanks, A lot of these minor details just go over my head. I trust she has a contract, with the rent specified.

actor Jack P Shepherd is not convinced that the actions of the Platt family are justified.

“I think David’s done a lot worse in previous stories. Everything he’s done in this storyline is completely justified,” the 25-year-old joked to RadioTimes.com. “The rest of the family is wrong. I can’t believe David gets kicked out – it’s his house. David’s on the mortgage, they’re not. David’s the dad and Nick’s not. Plus he loses his job. I just can’t work out why David is the villain.”

So if plotting against his brother and nearly killing him isn’t such a big deal, what does Shepherd consider to be his character’s most villainous act?

“The one everyone always comes back to is David pushing his mum down the stairs. I always get a worried look from people when I’m behind them on an escalator.”

Yet despite the actor’s sense of injustice at what his happening to his character, it seems he’s putting his all into David’s upcoming plotline. “I didn’t shave and I grew my hair. Continuity has been a nightmare, but growing a beard is what you do when you’re homeless on a TV drama.”

And where can viewers expect to find David while he’s of no fixed abode? “Drinking on the Red Rec, of course. There’s also that bus shelter on Rosamund Street – he’s in there a lot. Maxine’s bench outside the salon – you’ll find him there too.

“At one point, he gets into Tina’s flat, which causes its own set of problems. Basically, David’s drunk a lot and her home becomes a real mess. David’s not pulling his weight because he isn't bringing in any money, so you can expect plenty of arguments between the two of them!"

http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2013-...yline-revealed

Tommy Duckworth is to be given an off-screen exit storyline in the episode of Coronation Street set to air on Wednesday 23 October.

Tommy will pack his bags and leave in a hurry after finding out that girlfriend Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) has moved a homeless David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) into their flat.

Tina is to take pity on her ex when she finds him living rough after mum Gail (Helen Worth) turns her back on him. David will become persona non grata in the Platt house after his evil plotting comes to light in the coming week.

But when Tina arrives home after inviting David to stay, he has news for her:

"It’s Tommy. He proper kicked off when he found me here. He went mental, saying how he always comes last with you and how you think you can do what you want.”

David goes on to add that Tommy packed a bag, called a cab and left for the airport. And when Tina discovers that Tommy’s passport has been taken, she’s left in little doubt that her boyfriend has gone for good.

Later in the week, Tommy’s workmate Tyrone (Alan Halsall) discloses that he has spoken to his former colleague and that he’s under instruction not to reveal his whereabouts to Tina.

“If he wants to ring his mates more than ring me, then I’m glad he’s done one. Idiot,” says a resigned Tina.

David just happens to be passing .....

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s3...e-trouble.html

Nick Tilsley realises that his recovery is only just beginning later this month.

Nick (Ben Price) was recently released from hospital after weeks in a coma. However, he still has a very long journey ahead as he has been diagnosed with brain damage as a result of the road crash.

To make matters worse, Nick is unsure whether his wife Leanne will ever return to Weatherfield after learning of his one-night stand with sister-in-law Kylie.

Wanting to take his mind off everything, Nick tries to focus on his physio exercises. Unfortunately, after pushing himself to his limits, Nick is gripped by a panic attack out on the street.

A passing David (Jack P Shepherd) immediately rushes to Nick's aid and ushers him back inside Number 8, full of concern for his brother. But will Gail, Audrey and Kylie allow David back into the fold?

Very brave of Sally Dynevor as she has indeed had first-hand experience of cancer.

Just how severe is Nick's brain damage? I wonder.
Shouldn't he and his next of kin have had some sort of follow up outpatient help from the hospital?
