Tina's still gunning for Tracy when she receives a large bill for the smashed shop window. Desperate to end the feud, Rita tries to talk some sense into Tracy but Tracy just laughs in her face. Wanting to end the feud, Rob catches up with Tina. Playing on the strain this is placing on Rita, he offers a deal; he'll pay for the repairs if Tina will publicly apologise to Tracy, who can never know of their deal.

Given hope that Leanne will return, Nick pushes himself to the limit with his physio exercises. Gail confides in Kylie that she's worried he's getting his hopes up and Leanne may never return.

As Tim moves his stuff into Sally's, Faye's unimpressed. Grace offers to show her how to make Sally's life a misery.

Against Carla's wishes, Peter introduces a bonus scheme at the factory for the most productive worker.

Rob covers when Tracy demands to know what Tina was insinuating and Tina learns from Rita that Rob tricked her into doing a deal with him. Angry, she readily tells Tracy all about it. Tracy's left questioning her relationship with Rob. She loves him but he's a made a fool of her.

Nick is gripped by a panic attack. A passing David rushes to his aid and ushers him back inside no.8. David's full of concern for his brother but will Gail, Audrey and Kylie allow him back into the fold? Meanwhile, Nick clings onto hope that Leanne will return.

With Grace whispering in her ear, Faye asks Anna if she can have a Halloween party. Anna agrees to think about it, Faye starts pulling on her heartstrings as instructed by Grace, claiming she just wanted something to look forward to after all that's been happening with her dad and Sally,

Beth is very impressed with Sinead's sewing.

Leanne arrives back on the street. She explains to Stella how she needed to see her family and Simon but she's not sure how she feels about Nick. When Leanne calls at No.8, Kylie drags Gail upstairs leaving Nick and Leanne to talk. Nick begs Leanne to put everything behind them and give their relationship another chance.

Liz urges Tina to pay for the window but David doesn't think she should. When Rita sees a homeless and jobless David looking at the situations vacant in the Kabin window, she's worried.

Faye's excited about her party but when Grace announces she now can't come, Faye's gutted and begs Anna to change it to the next night. Owen notes Grace has got Faye wrapped round her little finger but Anna's just pleased she's happy.

Beth asks Sinead if she'll help her win employee of the month

Nick's heartbroken following Leanne's revelation. Worried about his recovery, Gail implores Leanne to give him another chance, reminding her this all started because she went to Peter on their wedding day. Leanne's guilt piqued, she offers Nick the chance to spend some time with Simon, suggesting he takes him to Faye's party. Hoping this is a sign he's making headway with Leanne, Nick agrees. But as the kids race around him, picking up on his condition, an emotionally and physically fragile Nick loses his cool.

As Faye's Halloween party gets underway Grace makes sure she's top dog in a super cool costume that puts everyone else's efforts to shame. But when she makes fun of Simon, Owen starts to notice her mean streak. Having raised daughters he's seen girls like Grace before and warns Anna.

Eileen plans another night in front of the TV but Liz decides a girls' night out is what she needs to snap her out of the doldrums.

When Roy witnesses Anna covering for Tim (who's forgotten to get Faye the costume he promised) in order to protect her from the truth, it makes him think about his own dilemma.

Leanne's horrified to walk in on Nick's outburst and ushers a shaken Simon out. Back at the Platts', Nick's deflated, now convinced his chances of a reconciliation with Leanne are over. But as Leanne discusses Nick's betrayal with Stella and Eva, admitting how much she loves him, will she be able to see a way to forgive Nick for the hurt he's caused or is their marriage over for good?

Faye's mortified as Anna calls the party to a premature end, while Sally has a go at Grace for the cruel way she taunted Nick. Although Owen agrees with Sally, he publicly backs Anna who defends a seemingly contrite Grace. But with the adults out of earshot will Grace reveal her true colours?

Eileen enjoys an evening with Liz and Deirdre. It's topped off by a text from Todd who reveals he's coming home for a visit.

With Hayley due home next week, Roy makes preparations for her return.

I hope, personally, that the rumours are true.

That's good that a surgeon who would have done the operation and the charity Headway were consulted but there has been no mention about therapy nor aftercare in the programme!

Eileen's excited about Todd's impending arrival but when a knock at the door reveals his angry boyfriend Alex, who demands to know where she's hiding Todd, Eileen is shocked. He says he wants answers from Todd after he ripped him off and dumped him and brands Todd an accomplished liar. Maternal instinct taking over, Eileen shows him the door, insisting to Jason that's not the Todd she knows.

Roy throws himself into redecorating in a bid to distract himself from Hayley's plans. Jenna's keen to help. But when Roy lashes out at her for invading his privacy, Anna steps in to comfort a vulnerable Roy. On the edge of emotional collapse will Roy confess all to Anna?

When Sally offers to have Faye and Grace over for tea because Tim's working late, Grace sees the opportunity for some fun and sets about causing trouble for Sally.

Leanne helps Nick with his things and they move back to Victoria court.

As Eileen questions Todd about his life in London he layers lie upon lie, leaving Eileen struggling to maintain her genial facade. When a drunken Alex then appears in the Rovers and Sean lets slip that Todd is now at Eileen's, Jason can see there's a storm brewing and chases Alex across the road. At the Grimshaws', Alex pushes his way in, demanding answers from a horrified Todd. Eileen coolly explains that she's already met Alex.

Anna implores Roy to open up. He's unable to bear the burden anymore and reveals Hayley's plan to end her life. Anna is completely thrown and Roy instantly regrets his admission and rushes out.

When Sally returns back from the shop with sweets for the girls she's shocked to find Tim there, who's raced round after receiving a text from Faye and Grace saying Sally left them home alone and they thought they heard a burglar. Tim condemns Sally.

Under pressure at the Bistro, will Leanne let Kylie have her job back?

Rattled by his own display of emotion Roy's retreated back into his shell and focuses all his attention on finishing the bedroom. Worried he's bottling things up, Anna calls in Owen and the troops to take over the decorating. Roy's uneasy about relinquishing control but when Hayley arrives home from hospital early, will he be ready to hand over his paint-brush and talk to Hayley about her proposed suicide?

Eileen's ashamed of Todd's behaviour and remains stoney faced when he suggests he returns to London. Todd meanwhile tells Sean a sanitized version of events and Sean's quickly taken in. Turning manipulative once more, Todd only wishes Eileen could see things from his perspective.

When Grace offers Faye a concert ticket, Owen says no, feigning concern for her schoolwork, although it's clear his real issue is with Grace. Disappointed, Grace attempts to sweet talk Anna.

Steve throws himself into helping Amy with school work, determined to prove he's a better parent than Tracy.

Hayley's adamant she wants to visit Jane at the hospice, despite Roy arguing she's still not strong enough herself. Hayley, however, insists and despite his reservations about Hayley's fragile state, he eventually agrees. But when they arrive Hayley's devastated to discover Jane has passed away.

Grace spots Mary getting into her motor home and suggests to Faye and Simon they have a bit of fun winding her up . Egged on by Grace, Faye agrees. But when Grace suggests they try and break one of the windows on her motorhome will Faye accept the challenge?

Todd affects humility, insisting he wants to pay Eileen back and he sets about job hunting. Heading to the Bistro, he tells Gloria he's an old friend of Nick's and bets her he can make the best pina colada she's ever tasted. Under pressure, Gloria agrees but how will Nick react when he finds Todd behind the bar?

After spending hours on Amy's project, Steve's gutted to discover he wasn't as much help to her as he thought.

Hayley's devastated to discover that Jane died that morning, blaming Roy for robbing her of the chance to say goodbye to her friend by not taking her to the hospice earlier. Roy's at a loss as to what to say as Hayley's frustrations come pouring out. But after she later apologises for her outburst, Hayley insists it's time to talk.

Mary demands to know who is throwing stones at her home. Faye and Grace think it's hilarious whilst nervous Simon does a runner. When Norris spots them he hands Faye over to Owen who frog marches Faye home. Will Anna believe Mary's accusations or will Faye's innocent victim act convince her?

Todd pleads his case with Nick but Nick is unforgiving and Todd is ordered out of the Bistro. Realising that Julie is a soft touch, and he manages to cadge £20 out of her.

Steve enrols at night school.

Todd will wreak havoc as he attempts to seduce Marcus - who began a heterosexual relationship with Maria last year - whilst also stringing along factory worker Sean.

“Todd has his eye on Marcus and he’s out to get what he wants," Bruno told The Sun of his character's new callous streak.

“He likes a challenge and I guess he’s probably one of those people who likes the drama of splitting couples up.

“People know Todd as a nice guy but he must have been hurt in some way in a past relationship and that’s why he is like he is now," he added.

Upon his return to the cobbles, Todd - who left back in 2004, after struggling with his sexuality - will be given a less than warm welcome by Nick Tilsley, who Todd famously tried to kiss whilst he was dating Nick's sister Sarah-Louise Platt.

Jason Grimshaw will not be pleased to have his brother back on the street either, questioning his motives for returning home.

Bruno announced his return to 'Coronation Street' as Todd back in June, saying in a statement: "Right now seems to be a great time to return to the Street, as I have just moved back to Manchester myself, and it's going to be interesting to see if Todd has changed after being in London for so long, as I have changed as a person too."

Todd's comeback scenes will air on 4 November on ITV.

I actually read somewhere (don't take it for fact) that Tina sees Simon being picked on and cheers him up and Peter sees how good she is with him.
