David Platt angers Tina McIntyre & his estranged wife Kylie! (VIDEO)

In the episode of Coronation Street that airs on Wednesday 13 November, David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is rapidly running out of people to turn to, given that he seems to be doing his best to alienate even loyal friend Tina…

The drama begins when we see Tina (Michelle Keegan) accusing David of sponging off her, so his response is to decide he has to give her some cash.

He then withdraws money from his and Kylie’s joint account, however, when Kylie (Paula Lane) finds out that David’s taken money from their account, she’s fuming…

And she’s further Kylie enraged to find that David’s taken Max to Tina’s flat!

As Kylie goes to confront David, will this extra stress lead Tina to kick David out?

Thanks for these, dj.

Gaaaah! Those two brats better not start bullying my beloved Mary. That's just a step too far. Send them to Borstal until they 45.

Aww, it's all looking a bit grim for poor Leanne and Nick.

Lol at Steve going back to school.

So there you go, he doesn't regret what he did, only that people now know what he did.

(1) Peter never knew Carla when younger.

(2) Why would Si need someone looking after him? If he is staying albeit temporarily with his Dad and Carla, surely they can look after him?

Gascoyne told TV Times: "Peter is really lustful for Tina. I think he almost sees a younger Carla in her. He found it really exciting when she put up a fight against Tracy. He admired her spirit and started to see her in a different light.

"Peter adores Carla, but he feels a bit neglected. He even tells Tina that, despite everything Carla has done for him, he's still not happy. Peter knows it's not a good idea to be around Tina, but he really doesn't want to stop seeing her."

The plot kicks off later this month when Tina becomes a childminder for Peter, looking after his son Simon while he and Carla are busy with work and wedding planning.

Speaking to TV Times about the story, Keegan explained: "Peter had never been on Tina's radar, but suddenly she feels completely out of control. She's never felt like this about anyone before. She didn't really have a passionate relationship with Tommy, but she can see herself having one with Peter."

She continued: "Tina is troubled by her feelings because she really likes Carla and she's not the sort of girl to do that to another woman. It's hard because she finds herself weakening whenever Peter is around.

"It gets to a point where Tina tells Peter that it might be best if she stops looking after Simon because she feels so out of control around him."

Peter has an increasing workload?

And why doesn't Peter encourage Simon to spend time with Amy instead of with Grace and Faye?

http://www.corrie.net/kabin/gazette.html

Monday 11 November 2013

Putting his own fears aside, Roy encourages a scared Hayley to attend Jane's funeral. At the wake, Roy finds the tragic situation tougher than he'd ever imagined but after Jeff confides in Roy that he lied to Jane about his religious beliefs to keep her happy in her final days, the words resonate with Roy.

With an increasing workload, Peter encourages an apprehensive Simon to play with Grace and Faye but will malicious Grace take advantage of Simon?

Tina finds sponging David's presence in the flat increasingly irritating. Tina tells David he has no chance of winning Kylie back unless he bucks up his ideas and finds a job.

Eileen hopes to persuade Steve to give a disheartened Todd a job.

Monday 11 November 2013

Hayley's flabbergasted when Roy says he will support her in her decision to end her life, but as Hayley happily reminisces about the past and starts to discuss what music she'd like to be played at the funeral, Roy's sickened and leaves. Bumping in to Anna he confesses he's lying to Hayley to keep her happy.

After calming down an angry Dev, Peter explains that although it's no excuse for stealing, Simon's been through a lot recently. Leanne angrily accuses Peter of not paying enough attention to his son. Her words clearly hit a nerve. Carla suggests no nonsense Tina could help them out and look after Simon.

David blows Tina's money on booze and drowns his sorrows in the Rovers. Tina's furious and gets Sean to take him back to the flat.

Ungrateful, Todd gets the job at Streetcars. Owen becomes increasingly uncertain of Grace's intentions.

Wednesday 13 November 2013

After Tina accuses him of sponging, David withdraws money from his and Kylie's joint account. Already angered with David for taking money from their account, Kylie is enraged to find he has taken Max to Tina's flat. Kylie goes to confront David.

With the wedding looming, Carla's concerned she hasn't found a dress yet. Hayley urges her to get a move on but Carla has a better idea. She's going to ask Hayley to make the dress.

Tina calls round for Simon and takes him to school. It's clear they get on well and Peter's pleased. Tina receives a call from Tommy and is left devastated.

Lloyd covers and pretends that Todd's the perfect employee.

And Carla wouldn't be happy if Simon lives with them.
Remember "I only wanted your husband, I didn't want your kid."?

By the way, where do they live currently?

“Simon is involved in what I suppose you’d associate with cyber bullying, that comes into play. [But] even though Leanne is Simon’s mum, I’m not heavily involved in that story, because Simon is being passed from pillar to post between Leanne and Peter given what’s happened to Nick, and he ends up with Peter for a while.”

Jane added: “She does discover something is going on and that opens up a new storyline for the Barlows. I’m saddened Leanne isn’t a bigger part of it, because I think as Simon’s mum she would have been quite protective of him but that’s to facilitate another story that opens up and of course to highlight the issues of bullying, which no parent wants to see their child go through.”

She doesn't sound very impressed with the storyline and I can't say I blame her. In a way, they've given her role to Michelle Keegan - they must think the viewers would rather watch Tina.

Please, please, let the police put Faye in juvenile detention for 10 years; she might even get acting lessons in there.
