Monday 21 April 2014

Steve overhears Carla tell Michelle that she will terminate the baby if Peter continues drinking - she can't go it alone. Simon tries to phone Peter and gets upset when Carla tells him Peter's not allowed any contact. Blaming Carla for his dad's drinking, he runs out of the factory and seeks out Tina. Carla's grateful to her for calming him down but Steve's sickened by Tina's duplicity.

Masquerading as Kirsty, Maria sends another text to Tyrone. Fiz grabs the phone and dials the number but hearing Maria's mobile ring, David answers it. Before he can say anything, Fiz shouts down the phone that Kirsty's a twisted cow and she doesn't scare them.

Rob and Tracy take delivery of a load of knock-off electrical goods from Tony.

Steve sets about making Michelle a birthday cake, hoping to impress her with his cookery skills.

Monday 21 April 2014

Unable to watch Tina's deceitfulness any longer, Steve confronts Tina in the Rovers backyard and tells her he knows about her affair with Peter. Tina's stunned.

Shocked with the knowledge that Maria has been terrorising Fiz and Tyrone, David tells Maria about the call from Fiz and is intrigued to know why she's been masquerading as Kirsty. Intending to come clean, she calls round at Tyrone's.

While Kal shows Leanne around the gym, Sharif notices the chemistry between them and quizzes Eva. He's not impressed when Eva tells him of Leanne's chequered past.

Michelle's touched when Steve presents her with a burnt birthday cake. Deirdre starts to come round to Tony's charms and accepts a hair dryer from Tracy.

Wednesday 23 April 2014

Having booked a male stripper for a hen night in the Bistro, Leanne's furious when he cancels on her. Under pressure, Kal agrees to step into the role and Leanne can't help but cast quick glances at his six-pack. When they're alone, Leanne helps undo his bow tie.

Tracy's impressed when Rob does a deal with a dodgy mate and off loads the knock-off goods. Realising that Rob is her Mr. Right, she suggests they get married.

Tina is relieved when Steve tells her he doesn't intend to breathe a word about the affair to anyone.

Anna takes on a cleaning job at the Rovers. Maria watches jealously as Tyrone and Fiz kiss. Gail is furious to learn the burglar only received a 12 month sentence.

Friday 25 April 2014

Kal and Leanne decide to tell Nick about their feelings for each other but Nick clearly thinks him and Leanne are getting back on track and before Kal can say anything, he tells him he plans to get back with Leanne tonight. As Leanne psyches herself up, will Nick's bombshell stop her in her tracks?

Liz pulls Anna up over her cleaning skills on her first day at her new job in the Rovers. Owen's annoyed and leaps to Anna's defence.

Tyrone tells a panicked Maria that Fiz intends to report Kirsty to the police so David tells her to throw her phone away but when a police car pulls up outside No.9, will David persuade her to confess before it's too late?

Deirdre's pleased to hear about Rob and Tracy's engagement. Kal shames Steve and Lloyd into agreeing to do a 5k charity run. Realising she's forgotten her purse, Izzy uses some of the charity money the girls raised to pay for her shopping.

Friday 25 April 2014

Leanne feels terrible when Nick tells her he can't live without her. He kisses her and leaves. He later confides in Kal that he hopes Leanne will take him back. Desperate to spare his feelings, will Leanne tell him how she feels about Kal or lead him to believe he has a chance?

Owen questions Anna's feelings for him, pointing out she hasn't let him near her for weeks. Anna insists she's just tired but Owen is unconvinced.

Tyrone's angry with Fiz for involving the police and storms out but Maria's relieved when Tyrone tells her that because the texts came from a pay-as-you-go phone it's harder to trace them. Feeling confident, Maria sends Tyrone another text.

Steve joins the gym, hoping to outrun Lloyd in the charity run. Rob and Tracy celebrate their engagement in the Rovers. Gary hands Izzy 40 pounds that he earned on a building site but Izzy squirrels it away with the charity money. When Lloyd suggests he stays the night at Andrea's, she makes out the boiler's broken and they'd better stay at his flat instead.

is a total suspension of reality. He would have gone straight to Leanne.

Coronation Street: Nick Tilsley is to go off the rails
BRAIN-damaged Nick Tilsley is going to go off the rails when he finds out his estranged wife has got a new man.

Nick (Ben Price, 42) and Leanne (Jane Danson, 35) have been living apart since the fallout from his car-crash injury caused irrational mood swings.
While Bistro boss Nick hopes that they will be reunited, Leanne secretly falls for his keep-fit pal Kal Nazir (Jimi Mistry, 41).
They will spend weeks sneaking around but when the truth finally comes out, it will push Nick over the edge and he’ll start having violent outbursts.
In scenes to be screened next month, Leanne admits to her lover that she’s worried about telling her husband the truth.
She says: “I was sitting there, looking him in the eye and I couldn’t do it.
“He’s been doing really well and this could really set him back to square one.”
But personal trainer Kal replies: “You and me – if we are going to do this, then sooner or later he’s going to get hurt.”

More than likely Tina just happens to be walking past when Simon comes out of the factory. She does nothing but walk up and down that street.

That's unbelievably quick. Assuming it means a prison sentence (would anything less, like community service, be referred to as a 'sentence'?) then he would first have appeared at the Magistrates Court, who would have referred it to the Crown Court.

No, he's back in the summer for a 'restorative justice' sl with Gail.

I can see nothing in the spoiler about the vile Sophie/Maddie storyline; can we hope it has been discontinued? If so, I am sure I will not be the only viewer returning to Coronation Street.

I'd bet my life savings on it. Still, it's time Gail saw some action again. I hope she buys Les Dennis some flight socks.

Sorry to be negative, but Les Dennis and Gail pairing would be so boring.

Why? Magistrates can hand out custodial sentences of up to 12 months.

Tension is building on Coronation Street, as the ITV soap prepares for Tina McIntyre’s murder and we could have a new suspect on our hands.

New pictures show Michelle Connor, played by Kym Marsh, leaving a police station, joined by Carla Barlow (Alison King) and a very shifty-looking Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis).

Carla’s over-protective brother Rob is currently the hot favourite to be revealed as Tina’s killer, according to Ladbrokes.

Carla and Peter Barlow are close behind, with Michelle a 66/1 outsider - but could these pictures change that?

Show bosses are keeping the details of Tina’s death under wraps though, with actress Michelle Keegan reportedly filming several exits in a bid to keep the true killer’s identity secret.

More Maddeh misery- urgh! I take it that her mother dies. It sounds terrible but I just don't feel any sympathy for the character, I really don't. The Sinead bit sounds intriguing. She's a character who I actually want to see more of.

I agree, boogie-woogie; I think the Sophie/Maddie story needs wrapping up, and quickly; neither of them can act. Sinead on the other hand has blended well into Coronation Street and she is a good actress.

Sad to see that we won't be seeing any more of the legend, Phelan, according to an interview in The Mirror.

Connor’s role on the Street is now at an end but Phelan is still lurking around.

He will continue to torture Anna from abroad by sending letters and postcards.

So will he be back?

Connor said: “The guys upstairs will *decide whether or not there is more to play out.

Hope they bring Phelan back or is the actor just deliberately saying this cos he knows that he's the one responsible for bumping Tina off next month?

I have feelings now Phelan will be the murderer, which is sad as I like the character. But its so obvious it won't be Carla, how many times has she been questioned by police accused of killing someone or being part of it? Peter (like with Frank Foster) will probably say he killed Tina and was too drunk to remember.

Whatever happened to the spoiler with Norris working out on the gym? Is this still going ahead?

Ridiculous that Les Dennis tries to burgle Gail's house, she is terrifed and then he becomes her boyfriend.

Well, they're doing this restorative justice sl in summer. He'll turn out to be an inept first-timer I'm guessing, only did it cos he was desperate, blah blah blah. She'll take pity on him etc etc.

I foresee a straight version of Sawpheh/Maddeh.

What would be his motive?
