But why would Tony be in the flat?
Trying to make it look like a burglary gone wrong after he kills Tina?

Oh no, I see more Rita crying scenes are a-coming..

Roy/Carla scenes will be a joy to watch - two of the best actors on the show if not the best two.

I wonder if this in the DS Spoilers for next week might have something to do with it.

Finally, Maddie excitedly tells Sophie that she has arranged for them to go and see Ben and they're leaving that afternoon.

After all where is Maddie going to get the money to go to Plymouth at such short notice.

I wonder if Tony is a red herring, so to speak.
I sttll think it will be Rob, and Carla / tracey / Michelle will cover for him.

I could believe the suggestion about Maddeh; if she were kind, she would take her mother to see Ben.

All will be revealed this evening. I shall watch The Chase, with Bradley Walsh (former professional footballer, Danny Baldwin, Ronnie Brooks in Law & Order etc) then, for the second time in ages, I shall watch Coronation Street to find out "the troof" as they say.

Tina McIntyre lies motionless on the cobbles after plunging from the balcony of the builder’s yard flat following a dramatic showdown, in pictures released by soap bosses today.

Millions of viewers are set to tune in tonight to see the final scenes of Corrie favourite Tina, played by actress Michelle Keegan.

And the identity of the mystery assailant, which has had viewers guessing in the build-up to the story, will be revealed in the episode to be screened tonight at 9pm.

The bolshy brunette will be seen given some home truths by one of four possible suspects before she crashes to the street below.

But ITV bosses are promising the story doesn’t end there - viewers will be shocked by a dramatic twist on Wednesday night.

And in the coming weeks the police will start the hunt for the killer - but will they get the right person?

Four potential endings have been screened for the past week on ITV.com putting Peter Barlow, Carla Barlow, Rob Donovan and Tracy Barlow all in the frame.

But bookies William Hill have said they have now stopped taking bets on the identity of the killer after a flood of punts on one particular suspect.

Stockport-born Michelle told the M.E.N. last week how she cried real tears filming her character’s final scenes - because she is terrifed of heights in real life.

She said: “I was told don’t practice it, just do it first time, but when it got to the moment when I had to fall back onto the crash mat, I just burst out crying.

“I’m scared of heights, I just couldn’t do it. I’ve always been scared of heights, even looking out of a window I have to walk over and touch the edge first, I get vertigo.

“I did it eventually, but it was still horrible. I had whiplash for about a week after.”

I believe that ITV has now named one of the four suspects, whom they say is not the killer. Does that mean that William Hill will return the stakes of those who bet on this person?

I dont think the writers know who the killer is. They make things up as they go along.

Moments after Tuesday night's instalment of the soap ended, actors Marc and Michelle Keegan - bowing out having played Tina for six years - tweeted one other, joking that there were no 'hard feelings'.

Coronation Street spoilers: Peter Barlow to be arrested for killing Tina - first look pictures
Rob may be guilty of the crime but it's Peter who comes under suspicion this Thursday

Those viewers who watched Coronation Street tonight will have seen pawnbroker Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) confront Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) on the balcony of the builders' yard and bring about her fall onto the cobbles below.

But tomorrow evening's episode will see a desperate Rob start to cover his tracks by staging a burglary at Tina's flat. And in the coming days, weeks and months, Rob will evade suspicion as both Carla (Alison King) and Peter are forced to answer police questions about the murder.

On Thursday night, as these new images released by ITV highlight, Peter will be hauled into custody under suspicion of killing his lover - but will the police eventually get the right man?

Weren't peter and carla having a row in the back room of the pub at the time? They alibi each other, so either they're both innocent or both guilty of conspiracy. Plus whatever the police treat the death as.

We know that, or presume that, but the police don't, nor does anyone else other than Rob.

Okay, that works if there's a lapse of time before she's found. For some reason I thought she was found immediately.

Marc Baylis fears his Rob Donovan character might not be around for long

Marc, who has now been in the soap for almost a year, says Rob will now spend a long time trying to pin Tina’s death on someone else.

“Rob is not a stupid man so he knows where to point the finger, when to play the innocent and where to play different cards that will protect him and cast shadows on to other characters. There are a lot of twists afterwards.”

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/showbiz-t...-fears-the-axe

While viewers may know that Rob is responsible for Tina’s death, their neighbours in Weatherfield don’t.

Fans will see Rob try to cover his tracks over the coming weeks.

Disappointed.
And his murderous girlfriend will still stay on.

I dont think they actually have plans to get rid of Rob yet, he's just going off what usually seems to happen with Corrie killers, this storyline seems to be going in a different direction though.

Hopefully. I admire Rob and would hate to see him get locked up or killed off.

I like Rob too, he doesn't really fit into the typical Corrie killer role we've been seeing for the last decade, and hell, if Tracy can escape justice, surely Rob can too? lol.

Marc Baylis has spoken to Digital Spy about the future of his character Rob Donovan following his deadly showdown with Tina McIntyre.

The latest episode of the ITV soap saw Tina fall from the balcony on top of the builder's yard as a violent altercation with Rob had terrible consequences.

Prior to tonight's episode airing, Digital Spy caught up with Baylis for his reaction to Rob being Tina's killer. Hit play above to see what he had to say.

In our chat, the actor ponders whether the storyline could put a shelf life on his character and jokes about the reaction he is expecting from fans.

Baylis also reveals whether Rob will confide in Tracy and whether he would be prepared to see his sister Carla get the blame for his crime.

Coronation Street continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV.

Elsewhere, Owen is astounded when Anna finally admits to sleeping with Phelan. Can he forgive his partner for her sordid act?

local residents are rocked by the discovery of Tina McIntyre's motionless body.

Months of secrecy came to an end yesterday evening as Tina (Michelle Keegan) was seen falling from the balcony on top of the builder's yard after a violent scuffle with Rob Donovan.

Tonight's dramatic episode kicks off with Carla Barlow revealing her anger over Tina and Peter's affair in the middle of The Rovers.

The gossiping locals are shocked by what Carla has to say, but are soon presented with a much darker subject matter to speculate about when Tina is found unconscious following her fall…
