Gail, David and Kylie's living together situation seems just the same as before Nick was brain damaged.
For goodness sake, I know that he has brain damage, but it was the beginning of this year, ie more than a few months ago, that he said that they should split up and he told Leanne that she should move on. The writers may have forgotten this. The Joinery was in both their names; I wonder if they shared the insurance money.
I hope that the surprise 40th birthday party for Steve will include his twin Andy being there.
What an insult to Kal's daughter being told that she was a mistake!

Peter secretly knocks backs the vodka and tells Deirdre he's going to Tina's funeral. While David reads his eulogy, he spots Peter at the back of the church and, pointing an accusing finger at him, tells the congregation Tina would still be here if it weren't for him. The mourners gather round the graveside. Peter drunkenly stumbles towards Carla but Rob steps in and a fight breaks out. Peter tells the shocked mourners that Tina ruined his life and now they're even then the police arrest Rob and Peter.
Kal vents his emotions on a punch bag in the gym while his Dad tries to offer him some words of comfort. Realising life is too short, Leanne approaches Kal outside the gym.
Steph, Luke and Katy hold their own wake for Tina in the flat. Luke tells Katy he likes her and they are about to kiss when Steph walks in. They spring apart embarrassed.
Kylie's scathing when Gail receives a letter from Michael telling her he's now got a job in a garden centre so Kylie writes a spoof letter from Gail to Michael and posts it.

Carla tells Rob and Michelle that she intends to get the factory back on track and she apologies to the workers for the awful things she said. When Rob talks to Tracy about Tina's funeral, it's clear he found it deeply upsetting but something in his voice unnerves Tracy.
Izzy's hurt when Gary refuses to babysit, telling her he's already made plans. Confiding in Katy, she tells her she's worried her and Gary are drifting apart. Meanwhile, Gary is desperate to give Izzy a wide birth and persuades Jason to go for a few drinks with him. Whilst out he chats up a girl called Alya and makes out he's single but when she suggests they go home together, will Gary accept?
Nick's taken aback when Leanne tells him that she spent the night with Kal. Angry, Nick marches up to Leanne and Kal and tells them he's filing for divorce on the grounds of adultery.
A guilty Kylie admits to David how she posted a spoof letter to Michael suggesting he and Gail get together. Liz and Eileen plan a surprise 40th birthday party for Steve.

Gary is mortified when he realises he spent the night with Alya and, quickly throwing his clothes on, he tells Alya he works for a bank and is late. Later at the gym, Izzy comes to collect Gary but he's stopped in his tracks when Kal's daughter walks in.
Steve is clearly depressed at turning 40 and, wanting to be on his own, he tells Lloyd he's going to drive a customer to the airport. Lloyd tells Steve that he can't because Liz and Michelle have organised a surprise party for him. It's the last thing Steve wants and he sets off. When Michelle and Liz find out Steve isn't coming, Michelle decides to lure him back by posing as a customer.
Deirdre finds Steph's charm bracelet in the ginnel and, unaware of whom it belonged to, takes it home and places it on the sideboard. Peter moves it, unwittingly leaving his fingerprints all over it.
Gail's stunned when Michael calls at No.8. Leanne and Nick row over their divorce and Nick insists he'll see she gets nothing.

Gary's horrified to discover Alya is Kal's daughter and, taking her to one side, he begs her not to tell Izzy of their one night stand. Gary then feels uncomfortable when Izzy drags him out for a drink with Katy and Alya. Later, Alya corners him in the Rovers' back yard.
Steve is annoyed to discover that he's been set up and his passenger is Michelle. He tells Michelle that he's a waste of space and lists all the mistakes in his life. Can Michelle persuade Steve to attend his party or is he set on wallowing in his own self-pity?
Gail's horrified when an embarrassed Michael shows her the love letter which she supposedly wrote to him and she's furious when she finds out it was Kylie who wrote it as a joke.
Tracy admires Steph's charm bracelet and claims it as her own. Sally is peeved when Carla tells her she can apply for the new PA role as Sally assumed it would be hers.

And as for what 'he needs to remember', the fact is, whatever he's done since the accident is a result of his brain damage, so there's no point whatsoever in blaming or criticising him for any of it. 
The writers must be being starved of sex.
