Sleazy Street; I think that name should now be officially registered. Oh for the days when producers gave the viewers shows that entertained them, and didn't just make shows for their own enjoyment - sleazy Sophie and Maddie, and, if we are to believe the rumours, an 11 yr old girl having sex. is there nobody higher up in the chain of management who can curb this unpleasant sexfest?
It is uncomfortable even by acting standpoints.

With the Sarah storyline the actress Tina O'Brien was a lot more older and mature when acting it out (she was 16-17) however the actress playing Faye is 12-years old. Although she isn't going to be pregnant in reality, she will still have to go through months of acting pregnant, having to deal with it being so young and of course the birth scenes. If she can't act this out it's only the producers to blame.

They seem keen having kids in strange situations recently, last year we had Simon being dressed up as a girl covered up makeup. Which of course was just a plot device so Peter could start banging Tina.

Luke Britton flirts with Carla Barlow despite growing close to Katy Armstrong.

Carla will proposition Luke for some no-strings-attached sex.

Desperate to move on from her *cheating ex, the businesswoman decides to respond to Luke’s flirting.

Sadly, her direct approach will leave him lost for words and viewers will see Carla break down in tears as she tells the young hunk about everything she has been through in the last few months.

And although Luke turns her down it’s the start of a friendship that could well blossom into more over the coming months.

Kylie and David have reverted to the nasty characters; did last Christmas and the crash really happen?

Who has been looking after Maria's dog?

Leanne's birthday this week.

http://www.itv.com/coronationstreet

http://www.itv.com/coronationstreet/...une-fri-4-july

David warns Michael to stay away from Gail, Nick pushes Leanne a step too far and Maria returns, but will anyone be happy to see her?

Michael loses his job after a run in with Kylie and David...

Outraged, Gail marches Michael over to Streetcars to see if she can get him a job with Steve.

But, Nick and David pay the former burglar a visit. Will he get the message and stay away from Gail?

Luke flirts with Carla when she drops her car off at the garage, but will she even notice?

Elsewhere, Izzy confides in Fiz that things with Gary are on the rocks.

Just as Maria arrives back from her travels...

Maria's much more civil with Marcus, giving him hope that he can continue seeing Liam - much to Todd's annoyance.

But Todd's in trouble when Steve catches him pulling a sickie - could this be one skive too far?

Lloyd still can't understand why Andrea is being so evasive.

Sally offers to help in the office.

And the factory workers are relieved when a large order is secured.

Elsewhere, Kylie is really starting to struggle with Max's behaviour.

Leanne is introduced to Kal's mother Yasmeen - will she make a good first impression?

Back at the Bistro, Nick delights in making Leanne's life hell...

But for how much longer?

I'm still not sure I like Les Dennis in Corrie. He has the same facial expression in all three of those preview pictures

What I find ridiculous was how Kylie had cancelled her night out with David at the hotel in order to support Gail when she was terrified. However Gail faces her fears and regains her confidence and Kylie decides to make a mockery of her? Stupid writing. Kylie is a grown woman with two children but acts immature. Gail should move out of the house and see how long both Kylie and David last without a ready made babysitter or someone to cook and clean for them without any thanks.

I'm pretty sure David and Kylie just dont want Gail to fall for a conman, like she did with Lewis.

Well Kylie was the one who ended up giving Lewis Gail's details which has been forgotten.

They've got a strange way of showing their concerns.

Well, Mr Tilsley, her past didn't bother you for a long time, did it? *searches for sarcastic emoticon and yawny one, too.
I put it down to brain damage.
Writers, please note that Nick decided at the beginning of this year that he and his wife should separate and he told Leanne that she should move on.

Nick Tilsley will humiliate his estranged wife when he reveals she used to be a prostitute.

Maybe Andrea and her husband could bump into Janice in Liverpool.

Brain-damaged Nick becomes bad Nick, as the actor had foreseen.

Please Note Schedule Changes. Corrie airs for one hour on Monday, Airs on Thursday and airs only one episode on Friday

Monday 30 June 2014 (One hour)

An excited Kylie announces that Becky has offered them a free holiday in Barbados but David is left concerned about their trip when he returns home to find Michael there. Ordering him out of the house, David and Kylie then take it upon themselves to visit Michael at work but Kylie makes a scene and tells Michael's boss that he burgled their house.

Todd pulls a sickie from Street Cars to spend time with Marcus but he's annoyed when Maria returns to the street and tells Marcus he can continue seeing Liam. Maria braces herself and apologises to Fiz.

Leanne tells Simon that her and Kal are now an item. Nick promotes an embarrassed Steph to Bistro supervisor simply to upset Leanne. Alya gives Kal her blessing when he tells her he and Leanne are together.

Kylie's dismissive when Max's teacher tells her that Max is disruptive and has difficulty concentrating. Izzy makes excuses to get out of spending the evening with Gary and tells Fiz she and Gary don't get on anymore. Todd is sacked from Streetcars when Steve finds out he skived.

Wednesday 2 July 2014

Sharif tells Gail that Alya will now be working on reception and that Gail is now the cleaner but Nick is furious when he finds out and is convinced Kal is behind it. Meanwhile, having lost his job because of Kylie, Gail insists she's going to help Michael and persuades Steve to give him a job at Street Cars but Nick and David have other ideas.

Leanne and Kal are furious when Leanne gets called into work, realising Nick's left the Bistro under-staffed on purpose to ruin their evening.

Maria is annoyed when a hungover Marcus fails to show up for Liam. Marcus goes to apologise but Todd pretends he's upset about losing his job and doesn't want to be left alone.

Jenna tells Lloyd she's booking them a holiday in Tenerife.

Thursday 3 July 2014

Michael is touched when Gail calls at his bedsit and gives him a shirt for his first day at work but when Nick and David later arrive, he's left shaken when Nick menacingly tells him to stay away. When Gail calls at Street Cars, she's shocked to find that Michael never turned up.

Audrey's shocked when Nick humiliates Leanne in front of her. At the Bistro, customers are forced to leave when the tension between the duo reaches boiling point.

Carla's grateful when Sally offers to help out in the office and the factory girls are relieved when Carla announces she's just secured a large order.

Steve is convinced he's going to fail his exam. Lloyd is concerned when Andrea remains evasive when he asks her to see him off on his holiday.

Friday 4 July 2014

Having quit her job at the Bistro, Leanne feels nervous when Kal suggests he brings his family round to hers. His son, Zeedan, fails to show up but Leanne manages to make a good impression on his mother, Yasmeen. But as the family make to leave, Nick approaches and tells the family that Leanne used to work as a prostitute.

When Nick lets slip that he knows Michael's address, Gail becomes suspicious and calls at Michael's bedsit, demanding to know the real reason he didn't turn up for work. When he admits that Nick and David threatened him, how will Gail react?

Luke flirts with an oblivious Carla when she drops her car off at the garage. He later insists on walking her to her flat as a jealous Peter watches.

Kylie's at the end of her tether when Max plays up. Steve shows Michelle the retro camper van he's bought for their new business venture. Andrea's husband Neil tells her he's postponed his return to Nigeria so they can spend more time together and suggests they visit their daughter Jessica in Liverpool.

The Platts are to get a shock in an upcoming episode when Michael Rodwell (Les Dennis) turns up on their doorstep holding the love letter that Gail (Helen Worth) has supposedly written.

The declaration of affection has, of course, been mischievously written by Kylie (Paula Lane), but the stunt looks set to backfire when Gail gets increasingly attached to the man who recently attempted to steal from her.

David (Jack P Shepherd) and Kylie then turn up at Michael’s workplace and get him the sack, but it isn’t long before Gail is attempting to land him a job at Streetcars.

But David and Nick (Ben Price) aren’t going to stand for their mum’s association with Michael and decide to up the ante in their bid to get shot of him. Here, actor Les Dennis reveals all about the war that is set to break out between Michael and Gail’s increasingly determined sons…

Do you think Michael has changed his ways since his prison visit from Gail?
Michael isn’t a career burglar, so it’s not a case of him changing his ways and rather him seeing the error of his ways. He wasn’t intending to hurt anybody and he assumed Gail would be insured. I would like to think that, for the first time, Gail has a good man. He starts off bad, but over time we’re going to see he’s a good man at heart.

Thankyou to all who have posted spoilers for next week. The episodes look very entertaining, especially as I can see no mention of Sophie and Muddie. Can we hope that they have gone?

You're welcome.

I live in hope, but Mr Blackburn said that Muddie would be there as long as him.
