If that’s what you perceive to be emotional abuse - If so then Leanne has been similarly guilty of emotionally abusing Peter in the past. I’d class it as emotional betrayal, not abuse. Whilst you could argue it’s abuse on some level, it’s far from being an extreme or dangerous example of it. For a start, he’s not being particularly malicious; he’s not consumed by a desire to put her down for personal gain, or attempting to exert his control - if anything he's doing the opposite and distancing himself emotionally. I highly doubt that it will be a "quick fumble" if/when they do get together, though i do not think that this gradual build up of their relationship, and the apparent shift in Peter's feelings toward Carla has been for nothing. I think there might be a Christmas kiss, or something in the festive season, but i believe that it certainly won't be a straight transition into a sordid affair but it will be a lot more emotional. Who knows, it might be that Peter wants Carla but she cannot forget her trauma; we shall just have to wait and see!
Regarding Carla's due break, i read in Soaplife's sneak at next week, that when Michelle gets back, she involves herself in the factory and sends Carla off to recuperate in LA whilst she takes on Frank. I doubt it will be for too long. I heard Alison King was taking a months break, so I suppose she will be off-screen for either a month or less depending on whether they filmed some of her scenes before or something.
And regarding Peter I think after the build up we have seen between them, and Peter knowing what Carla has been through, if anything happens, I hope it is meaningful, rather than a kiss or something that just means nothing.

I hadn't either but it seems like something Michelle would do. Their friendship is interesting, they seem very close despite the fact they have their differences. I hope Michelle gets properly involved in this storyline as Carla needs another feisty Connor on her side whilst she has lost her confidence.
Very excited as the prospect of Carla/ Peter however hoping CS continue to develop the storyline as they have over the past year as it has been really brilliant.

I bet Brian has had the snip or something. Anyway isn't Julie a bit past it to be having a kid, without medical intervention or does she just appear older than she is.
If Julie's mother was friend's with Eileen who has just turned 50 then at the most Julie's going to be 37 if her mother was pregnant at 14 with her. That's with the guess that Eileen was classmates with her mother which I think it was stated when it came out about Eileen's father. I think she dresses a lot older and acts in a twee manner making her seem older.

I know, it's not getting any better for her is it. I suppose this explains why Michelle sends her away for a bit, best thing for her to get a bit of distance from everything. I think the declaration might be that she's been raped since I don't think Michelle will necessarily know yet.

Maybe the declaration is that she has had it with Underworld. That would be quite a shock considering how much she obviously loves that place. It does seem she is fighting a losing battle with it.

Ha, I said the same thing. I'm fairly certain it will be her reaction to both the rape and the situation at the factory.
I agree. I think Peter's heart is with Carla. But his head is saying Leanne. Which he choose, if any I don't know.
