Coronation Street actor Ben Price has admitted that Nick and Carla are set to break up, despite the fact that they get engaged in next week’s episodes of the ITV soap. “As an actor, I have to play it like it’ll be fine. Of course it’s doomed – it’s a soap! But if I play it like it’s doomed, then it won’t work,” says Price. “I would like it to be a love story. No matter how bad or broken it gets in the end, I’d like it to be that they do love each other.” Before what seems to be an inevitable parting, Carla will be seen proposing to Nick in next week’s episodes of Corrie. And although Carla’s surprise does initially put Nick on the back foot, Price is pleased that the scriptwriters are – at least for the meanwhile - pursuing the pairing of the two characters. http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2015-...rien-interview Sarah Platt is to discover that she is pregnant with Callum Logan’s child – but will she end up keeping the baby? Doctors will give Sarah the news in the wake of a road accident that sees her hit by a van driven by Tim Metcalfe. And it’s fair to say that the pregnancy bombshell sends Sarah into an even greater spin than the collision. |

7:30 An upbeat Sarah arrives at No.8 bearing gifts from Italy. David's unconvinced by her apparent breeziness. David accuses Sarah of putting on an act and tests her by suggesting she goes into the annexe. Her facade crumbling, Sarah flees. David's fears are confirmed. David is intrigued to witness a flirtatious Aidan and Sarah setting up a date. Kylie orders him to leave Sarah alone but when he watches her flustered attempts to avoid talking to Billy, David urges her to go back to Milan before she cracks up. Sarah angrily snaps that she won't let David dictate her life before letting rip to Kylie, issuing her with a stark warning about David... Michelle's had enough of Aidan living at the pub and offers him the Streetcars flat. Aidan refuses, claiming it's a dump. So when Johnny complains about the B&B he and Kate are staying in, Michelle offers to show him round the flat. But as Michelle gives Johnny and Kate a tour, Aidan arrives, having had a change of heart. Kate backs Johnny as he argues with Aidan over who gets the flat. Arriving, Carla is forced to referee a game of 'rock, paper, scissors' between Aidan and Johnny. Finding Michael asleep at the switch, Eileen is annoyed and takes him to task for wasting all his energy running errands for Dee. Caitlin turns up on the street to surprise Craig. He invites her back to No.5 but as they move in for a kiss, they're interrupted by the arrival of Faye. Sally is saddened when Sophie announces she has no interest in celebrating Christmas without Maddie. Wednesday 2 December 2015 (one hour) David confides in Kylie that he's worried about Sarah's date with Aidan and fears she might blurt something out. Sarah leaves the Salon looking a million dollars. David hurries after her and warns her not to drink too much and not to mention Callum. Dressed to kill, Sarah arrives in the Rovers for her date. Aidan is bowled over but when he realises Sarah's horribly drunk he calls an abrupt end to the evening. David finds Sarah clearly upset and pouring her heart out to Billy. After a row with David, Sarah heads unsteadily towards Victoria Court but is knocked down by Tim's van. Gail, Nick, David and Kylie rush to the hospital. As they wait to discover the extent of Sarah's injuries, Sarah is stunned when the doctor tells her she's pregnant! Realising Nick is short-staffed, Carla insists she'll waitress for the evening. Sally's bemused to find Carla serving her and enjoys giving her a hard time. Clearly loved up, Carla later proposes to Nick but she's interrupted when Michelle bursts in and breaks the news that Sarah's been run over. Will Nick give Carla an answer to her question? Michael is mortified as he reveals to Eileen how Dee has nominated him for the Weatherfield Good Samaritan Award. Unaware of his discomfort, Eileen's thrilled. Grabbing Craig's phone, Beth invites Caitlin over for dinner. Craig cooks a lovely meal for Beth, Kirk and Caitlin. Beth embarrasses him when she shows Caitlin his baby photos. Later, Craig berates Beth for humiliating him but when he receives a text from Caitlin will he be forced to climb down? Friday 4 December 2015 7:30 After a sleepless night, Sarah asks the nurse not to tell anyone about her pregnancy. Audrey, Gail and Bethany discuss Sarah's accident and how she was rowing with David before she tripped. Kylie is suspicious. In the hospital, Billy tells Gail he's been worried about Sarah. Sarah assures Gail she wasn't trying to take her own life and was run over by accident. Unable to contain her doubts, Kylie confronts David, accusing him of pushing Sarah in front of the van to stop her from blabbing! Meanwhile the sonographer shows Sarah her baby for the first time and the enormity of her situation hits home. When Carla announces that she and Nick are engaged, Johnny and Aidan are thrilled for her. However, when they break the news of their engagement to Gail, will she be as pleased? Eileen and Sophie shower Michael with praise for his Good Samaritan nomination but Michael squirms with embarrassment. When Nick congratulates Michael on his nomination and tells him the Awards Ceremony will be taking place in the Bistro, he feels even worse. Telling Craig that her Dad is away, Caitlin suggests he comes round. Nervously, Craig agrees, confiding in Faye that he's worried about having sex with Caitlin. When Sally hears Kate is having lunch in the bistro, she drags Sophie there and suggests that she and Kate should have a night out together. 8:30 Carla confides in Michelle that she's worried Nick might be having second thoughts about marrying her. Michelle reckons she's worrying over nothing. In front of both families, Nick produces an engagement ring and, getting down on one knee, places it on Carla's finger. After a pep talk from Audrey, Gail apologises to Carla and welcomes her to the family. Under pressure from Bethany, Johnny and Aidan, Nick and Carla agree to throw a proper engagement party. David rages at Kylie for thinking he would try and kill his own sister. Kylie realises she's gone too far and apologises to David for doubting him. Meanwhile, Sarah stares at the scan photo of her baby, her mind in turmoil. Adamant he's not ready for sex, Craig cancels his date with Caitlin telling her he's sick. But when Caitlin calls at No.5 she's upset to realise Craig lied to her. Craig admits he's not ready to take their relationship to the next level. Michael confesses to Gail that the reason he's helping Dee is that he burgled her house and can't possibly accept a Good Samaritan award as he feels such a fraud. Arriving home drunk, Michael throws his invite in the bin, announcing to a baffled Eileen that he won't be attending. Sophie, Kate, Sean and Billy head out for a night on the town. Sally clocks a spark between Sophie and Kate and is pleased everything's going to plan. Tim warns her that Kate has a fiance and she's playing with fire. http://www.corrie.net/kabin/gazette.html |

Monday 7th December 2015
7:30 Tracy is taken aback when she receives a visiting order from Rob in prison. As Robert approaches, she shoves it in her pocket. In his prison cell, Rob tells his cellmate that he intends to have his revenge on Tracy. Later, Robert gives Simon a pep talk and persuades him to attend another counselling session. Simon agrees, on the condition that Robert goes with him. Tracy is gutted when Robert sends her a text cancelling their drink and then she spots him leaving in a cab with Leanne and Simon. Soon afterwards in the prison visiting room, Tracy goes ahead with seeing Rob... Meanwhile, Nessa prattles on in the salon about how she and Ken are entertaining Roy and Cathy for dinner later. Suddenly downing tools, Nessa announces that she's off to the precinct to make an emergency purchase. Audrey grits her teeth, before moaning to Rita how she regrets letting Nessa get her claws into Ken and wishes she'd been more proactive. Elsewhere, Sarah arrives back from hospital and Gail and Bethany fuss round her. Fed up with Gail and Bethany fretting over her, Sarah announces that she's returning to work. Also, Liz, Erica and Anna commiserate over the lack of men in their lives. At Erica's suggestion, they agree to attend a Singles Night. Finally, when Kate and Billy arrange to meet for a drink after work, Sally forms a plan. In the Bistro, Sally drags Billy away, making out that she and Tim need to talk to him about their marital problems. Sally then orders Sophie to keep Kate company. Billy and Tim are clearly bemused. 8:30 Rob tells Tracy that he's tried to forget about her, but can't as she still means the world to him. Telling Tracy how lonely he is, Rob begs her to stay a bit longer and wonders if she's met somebody else. Tracy lies to him, denying that she's in any relationship. Rob then quizzes Tracy about Carla and the factory. When Tracy reveals how Carla was driving the business into the ground and Johnny came to her rescue, Rob is intrigued. As Tracy makes to leave, Rob tells her how much he loves her and hopes she'll visit him again. Will Tracy agree? Later, when Robert admits to Tracy how he accompanied Simon to his counselling, he's surprised by how calmly she takes the news. At the same time, Simon goes into a strop - telling Leanne that he's had enough of counselling and it's a waste of time. Leanne is left at her wits' end. Meanwhile, Nessa presents Ken with a pair of designer jeans. Ken is quietly horrified, but puts them on as he doesn't want to offend her. Over dinner with Roy and Cathy, Cathy berates Nessa for cajoling Ken into the jeans. After a nightcap in The Rovers, Nessa apologises to Ken and suggests she could stay the night. As Audrey watches on, fighting back the tears, will Ken agree? Elsewhere, Todd watches Sarah work behind the bar. When she suffers a twinge in her tummy, Todd clocks her discomfort and his mind works overtime. Catching up with Sarah outside, Todd asks her who's the daddy. Horrified, will Sarah confess that she's pregnant with Callum's baby? Also, Anna knocks back the wine, nervous at the thought of Singles Night. Erica and Liz are amused to realise that Anna is too drunk to attend. Finally, assuring Billy that his advice has been invaluable, Sally dismisses him. Tim and Sophie realise that Sally was simply trying to set Sophie up with Kate again. Wednesday 9th December 2015 7:30 Johnny is stunned to receive a visiting order from Rob and shows it to Carla. Carla is taken aback, but reckons he'll have to go to find out what Rob wants. Later, Carla confides in Nick about how unnerved she is by Johnny's visiting order. She reckons Rob has clearly got an agenda. Meanwhile, as Nessa cooks Ken his breakfast, Tracy is outraged to realise that she stayed the night. Roy later suggests to Nessa that the way to Ken's heart is to win Amy round. Taking Roy's words on board, Nessa offers to take Amy to the Christmas markets after school. Realising she can play Nessa like a fiddle, Amy is only too keen. What has Amy got in store for Nessa? Elsewhere, Bethany persuades Sarah to let her skip school so they can go shopping and enjoy some quality time together. As they stagger home with their bags, Sarah heads off to find Todd. Sarah breaks down, admitting that she's not sure she can have Callum's baby. Also today, Brendan meets up with Mary for a drink in The Rovers. Mary is frosty towards him, but Brendan turns on the charm, telling her that he's just waiting for the right time and one day they'll be together properly. Will Mary fall for his patter? Friday 11th December 2015 7:30 When Rob phones Tracy from prison, Tracy agrees to visit again but asks him to send the visiting order to the shop so Ken doesn't find out. At the same time, secretly hoping to impress Liz, Johnny splashes out on a new shirt for the engagement party. Later, Johnny visits Rob in jail. As Rob drops a bombshell on Johnny, he's left reeling from Rob's shock revelation. Meanwhile, Sarah is clearly in turmoil and Kylie is suspicious. Kylie rifles through Sarah's handbag and finds the name of the abortion clinic. Confronting Sarah, Kylie asks her if she's pregnant. Will Sarah reveal the truth? Elsewhere, Nessa enjoys telling Audrey how she'll be attending Carla and Nick's engagement party as Ken's plus one. Audrey paints on a smile while offering to do her hair. However, Nessa is appalled with her new hairdo. Has Audrey made her look a fright on purpose? Also, in The Kabin, Rita overhears Brendan on the phone to his wife and realises with horror that he's married. Rita breaks the news to Mary that Brendan is married, but she's taken aback to realise that Mary already knew. Rita is troubled as Brendan calls for Mary, flirting outrageously. 8:30 Rob makes it clear to Johnny that he knows all about his past. He threatens to blackmail Johnny, telling him that he wants £10,000 or he'll spill the beans to Carla, Aidan and Kate. Johnny leaves rattled. As the engagement party gets under way at the Bistro, Carla grabs a word with Johnny, desperate to know what Rob wanted. Johnny covers by telling her that Rob simply wanted to know what was going on with the factory. However, Liz senses there is something bothering Johnny. At the same time, Carla asks Roy if he'll give her away at her wedding. Roy assures her that it would be an honour. Meanwhile, as Ken and Nessa prepare to leave for the party, Amy clocks Nessa's ridiculous hairdo and outfit and bursts out laughing. Upset by Amy's comments and only too aware that Audrey sabotaged her hair on purpose, Nessa refuses to attend the party. Ken is disappointed, but when Nessa offers to stay the night again, will he be appeased? Elsewhere, under pressure, Sarah admits to Kylie that she's carrying Callum's baby but urges her to keep it a secret. Will Kylie agree? Also, Brendan and Mary mull over the wonderful day they've had at the convention. He moves in for a kiss, but will Mary respond? Back in the pub, Rita quietly warns Mary that Brendan will never leave his wife and will only cause her heartache, but is Mary prepared to listen? Finally, Eva flirts with Aidan but he plays hard to get. http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/coro...r-rob-donovan/ |

And, if so, how long can it last? Anna's at it again... Tim and Sally are determined to spend their first Christmas as man and wife alone, but things conspire against them, leaving them with a houseful of guests. And it’s Anna and Kevin who are caught under the mistletoe – but how far will things go? Aidan/Eva, Caz/Kate The Underworld Christmas party seems like the perfect place for Aidan to make his moves on Eva – but is she interested or will Aidan not get his festive wish this year? Caz surprises Kate with a visit but as Sally continues to try and match-make Sophie and Kate, is there heartbreak on the horizon? Elsewhere: Mary is left out in the cold as Brendan enjoys a Christmas with his wife and family. Will Audrey finally declare her feelings for Ken before it’s too late? Monday 14th December 2015 7:30 Todd reminds Sarah how devastated she was when she lost baby Billy and implores her to think twice about her abortion. As Sarah heads off for her appointment at the clinic, Todd confides in Kylie that he thinks she'll regret her decision. Kylie finds Sarah at the abortion clinic and implores her to keep her baby, reminding her that Max is Callum's son too but she loves him. Kylie tells Sarah that her baby could be the one good thing to come out of the whole sorry mess. As the nurse calls Sarah through, she's torn over what to do... Meanwhile, Liz, Carla and Kate are intrigued when Johnny receives a package, but Johnny snaps at them by claiming that it's none of their business. The women are taken aback. Johnny later confesses his dilemma to a stunned Liz. What has Johnny got up his sleeve? Elsewhere, Eileen admits to Michael that she retrieved his Awards invite from the bin and booked them a table at the Bistro. Annoyed at Eileen for going behind his back, Michael tells her that she'll be attending the ceremony on her own. Also, at the school nativity play, Dev and Mary watch proudly as Aadi and Asha play Joseph and Mary. However, David and Kylie are pleased as punch when Max steals the show as the Innkeeper. 8:30 Todd calls in the salon and suggests to David and Kylie that Sarah needs their support now that she's pregnant. Having overheard every word, a shocked Bethany stalks out of the salon. Interrupting Sarah's lunch with Audrey and Gail, Bethany plonks herself down and announces that Sarah is pregnant with Callum's baby. Audrey and Gail are gobsmacked and lay into Sarah, wondering how she could be so stupid. Billy intervenes out of concern for Sarah, but Gail sends him away with a flea in his ear. Soon afterwards, David tells Kylie that he's moving out because as much as he loves her, the trust has gone and their marriage is dead. Meanwhile, Eileen proudly shows Michael an article in the Gazette featuring a picture of him and details of his Good Samaritan nomination. Michael squirms as Eileen makes him practise his acceptance speech should he win the award. Elsewhere, Michael offers Tyrone some ex-council display lights for his Lapland project. Tyrone pays Michael £90 cash, despite his spiralling debts. Also, when Anna receives a text from Barry, a guy she met at the Singles Night, how will she respond? Finally, Tracy confides in Robert over how worried she is about her business. Robert suggests that she should do something she's passionate about. Tracy admits she was happy when she was a florist. Tracy also takes a call from Rob in prison and promises that she'll visit him again soon. Wednesday 16th December 2015 Sarah apologises to the nurse and rushes out of the clinic with Kylie. Back at the Platt house, David is annoyed with Kylie for doing a runner from the school play. However, when Sarah explains the full story, David can't believe it. As Kylie assures Sarah that she has their full support, David is horrified over the baby news and a row breaks out. Will Sarah decide to go through with an abortion, or can Kylie convince her to keep the baby? Meanwhile, Robert is perturbed when he finds out from Carla that her brother Rob has been in touch with Johnny. When Robert tells Tracy that Rob has been in touch with Johnny from prison, will Tracy come clean about her own visit to her ex? Elsewhere, Dee tracks down Michael and presents him with her father's cufflinks, telling him that she'd be flattered if he'd wear them to the awards ceremony. Michael feels terrible. Will he come clean, or be forced to put aside his guilt and attend the event? Also, when Erica and Anna arrive at a wine bar for Singles Night, they're taken aback to find Kevin there too. As Kevin and Anna compare notes, it's clear there's a spark between them. Thursday 17th December 2015 8:30PM Tracy visits Rob in prison again and admits how much she misses him. She assures him that there has been nobody else in her life, but Rob knows she is lying and masks his contempt. Later, Tracy returns home and Robert leads her to Barlow's Buys. Tracy is taken aback to discover her shop full of flowers. Robert tells her to follow her dream and take up floristry again, leaving her touched. Back at the prison, Rob tells his cellmate that Tracy lied to him and vows to have his revenge. Meanwhile, Michael admits to Gail how he is dreading the awards ceremony and wishes he had the courage to come clean. As the ceremony gets under way, Michael arrives at the last minute and Eileen is relieved to see him. However, as Billy reads out the Good Samaritan nominees, he's interrupted by the arrival of Dee with her neighbour Pat in tow. Pointing an accusing finger at Michael, Pat confirms that he's the man who burgled Dee's house. How will Michael react? Elsewhere, Fiz asks Beth, Kirk and Sinead if they'll put up her Christmas decorations at Number 9 while she is out, as a surprise for Hope and Ruby. Sinead organises a whip round in the factory to buy some new decorations. Fiz, Hope and Ruby return home and are bowled over to find their living room transformed into a Christmas grotto with a beautiful tree. Also, Anna and Kevin compare notes on their forthcoming dates. Finally, Eva flirts with Aidan at the factory's Christmas party, while Kylie pleads with David to come home if only for the sake of Max and Lily. Friday 18th December 2015 Tracy thanks Robert for his grand gesture. After kissing him, she tells him that he's right - it's time for a change of direction and a florists is a great idea. Back at the prison, Rob confides in Ian that he intends to introduce himself to Robert... Meanwhile, Dee rages at Michael. Gail rushes to Michael's defence, telling Dee how he burgled her house too but he's a good man underneath. Eileen squirms with embarrassment. As Billy announces that Michael is the winner, Michael flees from the Bistro. Soon afterwards, Dee leaves but tells Michael that she will report him to the police if he ever tries to contact her again. Michael apologises to Eileen for letting her down and causing her so much embarrassment. But will Eileen accept his apology? Elsewhere, Fiz leads Tyrone into Number 9 and reveals the Christmas makeover. Tyrone is gutted, explaining that he was looking forward to decorating the house with the kids. Sinead, Beth and Kirk leave feeling hurt. Fiz berates Tyrone for his ingratitude over the decorations. Also, Kylie tells David that she wants him back and the kids need their dad, but if he can't do it then they should call it quits. David is stunned. Finally, Robert offers Zeedan a job in the Bistro kitchen after he suggests a way to improve a recipe, while Aidan confides in Eva about how it's 22 years since his mother died. http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/coro...-in-his-plans/ |

Emily Bishop's exit scenes to air on New Year's Day http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/coro...new-years-day/
The long-running character will bow out of Weatherfield after Christmas. Coronation Street will air Emily Bishop's exit scenes on New Year's Day as she bows out of Weatherfield to head overseas. It was announced last month that Eileen Derbyshire would be taking a break from the show after she asked producers for six months away from the cobbles. Although details about Emily's temporary exit weren't clear at the time, it has now been revealed that she will head to Peru to join her nephew Spider. The story will kick off when Billy Mayhew senses Emily's yearning to volunteer overseas and encourages her to go for it. However, after Emily books her flight and announces her big decision at Ken's party, not everyone is thrilled by the news. While Audrey and Rita are pleased that she is following her dream, Norris is disapproving and fails to support her. As Emily's loved ones gather to see her off on her trip, Norris arrives and hands her a bag full of pencils, explaining that they are to help with her voluntary work. Does this mean that the pair will clear the air before she leaves? |

Thanks K9 and Callum.
![]() Monday 21st December 2015 7:30 Tracy enters Barlow's Buys and finds another visiting order from Rob on the mat. She announces to Todd that she is turning Barlow's Buys into a florists. Soon afterwards, Robert asks Ken for Tracy's hand in marriage. Later, as Ken, Emily, Nessa and Robert prepare to leave for Amy's violin concert, there is no sign of Tracy. Amy becomes increasingly nervous. In the prison visiting room, Tracy reels as Rob lies to her, claiming there is a strong chance he might be released and he hopes they can start again. Meanwhile, Rob phones Johnny from prison and puts pressure on him to come up with the money. When Aidan enters the office, Johnny kills the call. Johnny arrives home to find Carla and Kate trying on wedding dresses. When Michelle muses that they could be sisters, Johnny is rattled. Elsewhere, when David complains to Nick about how uncomfortable the spare bed is at Audrey's, Nick urges him to return to his family and make up with Kylie. Will David go home? Also, Tyrone takes delivery of two dozen Christmas trees. As Kevin and Luke help him stash them at the garage, Tyrone gets a call from Fiz to say that Hope has another infection and is being transferred to the General. Finally, Kevin and Anna discuss their respective dates that evening and realise they'll be in the Bistro at the same time, while Michelle is furious after a phone call from Steve. 8:30 Rob puts pressure on Tracy, telling her that he needs to know that she still loves him. Tracy suddenly remembers Amy's concert and flees from the visiting room, leaving Rob frustrated. Later, Tracy lets herself into Number 1 and finds Amy deeply upset. Ken explains how Amy lost her nerve and refused to play without Tracy there. When Robert demands to know where she has been, Tracy feeds him a pack of lies and Robert is suspicious. Tracy secretly phones Rob and assures him that she still loves him and will be waiting for him when he gets out. Rob is pleased that his plan is coming together and phones Robert, telling him that he is sending him a visiting order as he has got some information about Tracy. Meanwhile, Aidan and Kate erect a table-tennis table in the factory and explain how they've agreed that Underworld will take part in a ping-pong tournament with O' Driscolls. Elsewhere, in the Bistro, Kevin has a date with Joanne, who talks too much. Anna has her own date with Glen, who is still in love with his ex-wife. Also, Fiz explains to Tyrone how they've put Hope on a drip but she might not be home for Christmas. Finally, Eva is embarrassed when David asks her if she'd like to meet up for a drink as he's now single, Michelle breaks the news to Amy that Steve won't be home for Christmas as he is staying in Spain to look after Andy who has broken his leg, while Zeedan starts work at the Bistro. Wednesday 23rd December 2015 Promising that he'll be back in time for Max's panto, David heads into town to do his Christmas shopping. David's heart sinks when he bumps into Marion. Clearly upset, Marion explains that she's had her purse stolen and it contained a photo of Callum. Covering his guilt, David offers to bring Max round to see her and Marion is delighted. Later, Kylie tears a strip off David for missing the panto. When David explains how he got waylaid by Marion, how will Kylie react? Meanwhile, Todd answers Tracy's mobile for her in the shop and is taken aback to discover the caller is Rob Donovan. Swearing Todd to secrecy, Tracy confides in him that Rob might be released on a technicality and she still has feelings for him. Later, Robert confides in Leanne that he has received a prison visiting order from Rob, who wants to impart some news about Tracy. Leanne warns him that he might be best to leave well alone. Elsewhere, Sally tells Anna that she wants some time alone with Tim this Christmas. Anna wonders how she is going to explain that to Faye. Later, Anna is disappointed to see Kevin and Joanne climbing out of a cab, realising they must have been on a second date. Also today, convinced Hope will be home for Christmas, Tyrone instructs Michael, Sophie and Luke that he wants the Lapland project to be bigger and better than ever. Finally, Aidan challenges Kirk to a game of ping-pong in the factory. Christmas Eve 2015 8pm While the residents put the finishing touches to the Christmas trees, Fiz breaks the news to Tyrone that Hope might not be allowed home for Christmas and Lapland might have to wait. As Kevin works on the lights and Kirk tinkers with the snow machine, a downbeat Tyrone announces that Hope is being kept in hospital. However, as Tyrone gazes despondently around the street, a taxi pulls up and Fiz climbs out with Hope. Tyrone is thrilled and as he hugs them tightly, suddenly the Christmas lights come on. Is it going to be a great Christmas after all? Meanwhile, Robert heads out, making out that he is going Christmas shopping. As Tracy tidies round, she is thrilled to discover an engagement ring in Robert's jacket pocket. Tracy confides in Todd that she thinks Robert is planning to propose and she's not sure what to do. Later, Robert visits Rob in prison. Rob takes pleasure in telling him about Tracy's recent visits. Refusing to let Rob get to him, Robert retorts that he intends to propose to Tracy on Christmas Day and leaves. Elsewhere, Sarah tells Kylie that out of the goodness of his heart, David has taken Max to visit Marion and she should cut him some slack. When David returns home with Max, Kylie apologises for snapping at him earlier but David remains hurt, wondering what happened to the trust between them. Also today, as Roy and Cathy quiz Chesney and Sinead about their trip to Portugal, it's clear that Sinead is out of sorts. Finally, Tim and Craig enjoy a roast dinner in the café and declare it their Christmas works party, while Johnny and Carla join Aidan and Kate as they decorate the Christmas tree. Christmas Day 2015 7:45PM When Tracy overhears Amy telling Robert that he can be her number two dad, Tracy realises that Robert is the one for her. In The Rovers, Tracy confides in Todd that she reckons Robert is about to propose and she is going to accept. Robert pulls out the engagement ring from his pocket, but before Tracy can take it, he demands to know why she has told Rob she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. Can Tracy talk Robert round and get him to place the ring on her finger? At the same time, Johnny's phone rings. Seeing the caller is Rob, Carla takes the call. Carla chats to Rob while Johnny goes into meltdown. Will Rob spill the beans about Johnny's past? Meanwhile, Tyrone produces some crackers and explains that each one is personalised. Sinead pulls the wrong cracker and is thrilled when an engagement ring lands in her lap. Tyrone quickly retrieves it, explaining that it's for Fiz. Sinead is mortified, while Chesney is embarrassed. As they lead the girls out on to the street to reveal Lapland, Santa pulls up. Getting down on one knee in the snow, Tyrone produces the ring and proposes to Fiz. Will Fiz accept? Elsewhere, Kylie presents David with an expensive watch, but he's underwhelmed. Kylie strides into the pub as a woman on a mission. Telling David that she loves the bones of him, she kisses him passionately. Will David reciprocate? Also today, Sally and Tim look forward to their first Christmas alone together. However, when Sophie and Kevin discover their turkey is still frozen, Sally is forced to invite them round. Izzy is taken ill and Tim finds himself forced to invite Anna and Faye to join them too. As they play charades at Number 4, Kevin goes to kiss Anna under the mistletoe, but will she respond? Finally, Caz arrives home and surprises Kate by telling her that she has booked them into a posh hotel, and will Mary be stood up as she gets excited about spending the evening with Brendan? Monday 28th December 2015 7:30 Johnny receives an email which leaves him reeling. After confiding in Liz, she advises that he should come clean to his family. Carla is about to set off for an evening out with Roy when Johnny ambushes her. Insisting they have to talk, he drags her back to his flat and Carla is concerned. Meanwhile, having spent the night at Number 5, Tracy confides in Beth that she still loves Rob and intends to make their relationship work. Tracy visits Rob in prison and tears a strip off him for his handling of Robert. Tracy assures Rob that she wants to be with him and Robert is history, but is this what Rob wants to hear? Elsewhere, Ken is thrown when he receives a letter addressed to Ken and Deirdre Barlow. Putting it to one side, Ken sets off on his first bike ride with Nessa. Also, as Aidan announces the ping-pong team, Carla reminds him of the importance of landing the O'Driscoll contract. Aidan assures her that he plans to lose the tournament. Carla asks Sally to keep an eye on Aidan and make sure O'Driscolls win and sign the deal. Finally, Tyrone does his best to hide his anxiety while Fiz excitedly discusses her wedding plans with Billy, while Norris is cagey when Emily asks him for the password to his computer so she can email Spider in Peru. 8:30 Johnny pours Carla a drink while psyching himself up to break the news. Unnerved by Johnny's demeanour, Carla begs him to tell her what is bothering him. Johnny finally breaks his silence and drops a bombshell that leaves Carla reeling. When Carla demands to know why he has suddenly decided to reveal his secret now, Johnny admits that Rob has been blackmailing him. Carla is appalled. Later, Roy is annoyed when Carla fails to show up and he misses watching the chess match. As Carla apologises to Roy for letting him down, Johnny approaches and begs her not to spill the beans to Aidan and Kate. Meanwhile, Rob drops the bombshell on Tracy that he has been leading her up the garden path - there is no appeal and he simply wanted to ruin her life as she did his. Tracy storms out in tears. Tracy calls in the Bistro and begs Robert for another chance. Lying through her teeth, she tells him how she was never in love with Rob and it was all in his head. Will Robert take her back? Elsewhere, when Michelle takes a call from Ken to say that Nessa has fallen off her bike and injured her ankle, Audrey sets off to rescue them. Ken admits to Audrey that the cycling wasn't nearly as exhausting as Nessa's conversation and Audrey senses a glimmer of hope. Also, the ping-pong tournament takes place at Underworld. With the scores level pegging, Aidan and Richie O'Driscoll play the deciding match. Will Aidan follow Carla's instructions and let Richie win the match? Finally, Emily proudly tells Rita and Norris how Spider is working in an orphanage in Peru. Wednesday 30th December 2015 As Fiz prays that today's scan will yield good news for Hope, Tyrone secretly opens a letter from the loan company demanding payment. When he discovers another cheque has bounced, a desperate Tyrone dips into the garage's petty cash. Kevin catches him and is shocked by Tyrone's desperation. When Sophie then blurts out that she and Kevin are taking a holiday in the sun before the builders start work on the garage expansion next week, Kevin is embarrassed. As Tyrone is forced to admit that his debts run to £10,000, will Kevin feel able to offer him any support? And will Tyrone be forced to confess to Fiz? Meanwhile, Johnny calls Rob and informs him that he has told Carla the truth, so his blackmail plot has failed. Rob is thwarted and furious. Nick is gobsmacked when Carla reveals Johnny's secret and Rob's blackmail attempt. Later at the factory, Aidan celebrates winning the O'Driscoll contract and heads off to tell Carla. Johnny is filled with dread at the prospect of Carla revealing all to Aidan and Kate about his past. Roy and Nick implore Carla not to distress Aidan and Kate with the truth in her bid to punish Johnny, but will Carla take their advice on board? Elsewhere, Billy senses that Emily is yearning to volunteer in Peru and encourages her to go for it. With her mind made up, Emily announces that she is off to Peru. Also today, at Amy's request, Ken grudgingly allows Tracy to move back into Number 1. Finally, to Audrey's amazement, Nessa persuades Ken to throw a New Year's Eve party. Audrey questions whether Ken really wants to host a party and wonders if Deirdre would approve of Nessa. Has Audrey gone too far? New Year's Eve 2015 8PM With Ken's party in full swing, Emily announces that she has booked her flight and leaves for Peru tomorrow. Norris is disapproving, while Audrey and Rita are pleased for her. Later, Ken tells Audrey how much he values her friendship, but the moment is broken by Nessa who quickly sweeps Ken away. Will Audrey get another opportunity to tell Ken how she feels? Meanwhile, in the hospital, the consultant gives Tyrone and Fiz the good news that Hope's tumour has shrunk and is now operable. An upbeat Tyrone and Fiz share their good news with their friends in The Rovers. Kevin puts pressure on Tyrone to come clean to Fiz about his debts. Tyrone promises that he will, but not now as they're celebrating Hope's good news. Elsewhere, as the clock strikes midnight, Aidan and Eva kiss passionately and Kevin kisses Anna on the cheek. Caz and Kate also share a tearful farewell as Caz leaves for Cyprus. Also today, Mary is delighted when Brendan shows up for their date, but her euphoria evaporates when he says that he can only stay for a quick drink as his wife is expecting him. Finally, Andy does his best to reassure Steph in the wake of the revenge porn attack, Carla remains non-committal when Johnny begs her not to reveal all about his past to Kate and Aidan, Tracy gets the wrong idea when she spots a moment of intimacy between Robert and Leanne, while Carla feels terrible when she realises that she has forgotten Nick's birthday. New Year's Day 2016 7:30 Telling Nick that she needs to keep herself busy to take her mind off Johnny, Carla insists on going to work. Desperate to protect Aidan and Kate, Johnny begs Carla not to spill the beans. Carla angrily tells him that she'll keep his dirty little secret if in return, he leaves the factory and moves away. Will Johnny comply? Later, Carla shows Michelle a visiting order from Rob. Michelle reckons she should go and hear Rob's side of the story, but Carla storms out as she is sick of everyone giving her advice. Immersing herself in a game of roulette, Carla is surprised when Robert enters the casino and joins her at the table, still cut up after recent events with Tracy. Having won a small fortune, Robert and Carla celebrate with a drink. On a high, Robert suggests they take the champagne to a bedroom, but will Carla agree? Meanwhile, Cathy suggests to Roy that as her New Year's resolution, she'd like to clear the remaining rubbish out of her house. As Roy goes through Alan's old paperwork, he comes across a letter and reads it with dismay. Elsewhere, while Emily enthuses to Billy about her trip to Peru, Norris continues to make jibes, suggesting that she is too old to work as a volunteer. Knowing how much he cares for Emily, Rita advises Norris to put things right between them as he'll regret it if he doesn't. Also, Eva and Aidan emerge from the bedroom. Eva confides in Leanne that she really likes him and doesn't want to mess it up. In an attempt not to appear too keen, Eva makes out to Kate that Aidan spent the night on the sofa. Aidan is hurt and Eva worries that she might have blown it. 8:30 Robert and Carla kiss passionately while ripping at each other's clothes. At the same time, Michelle and Nick continue to fret over Carla, wondering where she has got to. Realising the stupidity of what she has done, Carla tells Robert that he must never breathe a word and hurries from the hotel. Calling Michelle to her flat, Carla confesses that she had sex with Robert. Michelle is stunned. Robert arrives for work late at the Bistro and covers his guilt as he apologises to Nick. Weighed down with remorse, Carla arrives to see Nick. When Robert comes out of the kitchen, Carla can barely look at him. While Nick serves, Carla has a quiet word with Robert, telling him that she is engaged to the best man in the world and that as far she is concerned, their earlier indiscretions never happened. Will Robert agree to keep quiet? Meanwhile, Roy comforts Cathy as she sorts through Alan's stuff, pushing thoughts of the incriminating letter to the back of his mind. However, Roy later confides in Anna, who is shocked to read the letter. It reveals that Alan had an affair with Nessa, Cathy's sister. Later, Ken cancels dinner with Roy and Cathy when Nessa gets called away to collect a drunken Alex. Elsewhere, as Rita, Mary, Ken and Billy see Emily off on her trip to Peru, Norris arrives and hands her a bag full of pencils, explaining they're to help with her voluntary work at the school. Will Emily and Norris clear the air before she leaves? Also, when Eva discovers that Aidan and Kate had a bet on whether he'd sleep with Eva before the year was out, she is furious and pours Aidan's drink over his head. http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/coro...fer-for-tracy/ |

How many times have we seen the scenario of a woman going to the abortion clinic, then a friend/relative arriving in the nick of time to stop her?. Utterly boring, and lazy writing..

Monday 4th January 2016
7:30 When Nick tries to engage Carla in a conversation about wedding menus with Robert, Carla makes excuses and is unable to look Robert in the eye. Later, Carla visits Rob in prison. Rob tells her that if Johnny doesn't pay up, he'll reveal the truth to Aidan and Kate. Carla points out that it's not her problem and leaves. However, Carla has had enough and leads Kate and Aidan into the back room at The Rovers, intent on telling them the truth. Meanwhile, Roy confronts Nessa with the letter. Nessa is embarrassed and admits that she and Alan were having an affair. Ken is appalled at her admission. Nessa implores Roy not to tell Cathy and admits there are more incriminating letters, so she asks Roy to take her to Cathy's house to retrieve them. Roy ignores his better judgement and agrees, but as they arrive, they find Cathy in floods of tears having already discovered the offending letters. Elsewhere, Kevin is embarrassed when he receives a hamper of sweets from Joanne. Over lunch, Joanne suggests they spend the evening watching a DVD, and Kevin has little choice but to agree. Masking her jealousy, Anna agrees to attend another singles night with Erica. Also, handing Todd a book on flowers, Tracy suggests he reads and inwardly digests it if he wants a job in her flower shop. Amy later tests Todd on flower names. Will Todd pass the test? Finally, when Norris remarks on how subdued Mary has been recently, will Rita reveal that Brendan is in fact a married man? 8:30 Carla drops the bombshell that Johnny is her dad. Staring at Johnny in disbelief, Kate and Aidan are appalled to discover that Johnny always suspected Carla was his daughter but kept it a secret for all these years. When Liz inadvertently lets slip that Johnny's wife died after she found out about his affair and stepped in front of a car, Kate and Aidan are horrified. As Johnny desperately tries to explain himself, will Kate and Aidan be able to forgive him? Meanwhile, Cathy is desperately upset and orders Nessa out of her house. Cathy is hurt to realise that Roy knew of the affair and was helping Nessa to retrieve the letters. Roy apologises profusely, but Cathy asks him to leave. Later, when Nessa grumbles to Ken about the way Cathy treated her, Ken is appalled by her selfishness. Could their relationship be on the rocks? Carla drops the bombshell that Johnny is her dad. Later, when Nessa grumbles to Ken about the way Cathy treated her, Ken is appalled by her selfishness. Could their relationship be on the rocks? Elsewhere, Erica drags Anna off to the singles night, while Kevin suffers an evening watching a DVD with Joanne. When Kevin later finds Anna in the kebab shop after the singles night, he flirts with her and offers to walk her home. Also, Tracy tries to talk to Robert in the Bistro, but he blanks her and heads back into the kitchen. Passing Robert on her way home, Carla ignores him. Robert grabs Carla by the arm and suggests she should lose the attitude, as he could make life very difficult for her. Carla is unnerved. Finally, Norris and Rita voice their concerns to Mary about her affair with Brendan. Wednesday 6th January 2016 Carla arrives for work. To pre-empt any gossip, she announces to the factory girls that Johnny is her dad. In an attempt to calm Aidan down, Eva tells him how she only found out Leanne was her sister in later life. Aidan is dismissive. Later, Johnny promises Aidan and Kate that he always loved their mother and begs their forgiveness. Aidan sees red and punches Johnny, while Kate tells him that it would be best if he found somewhere else to live. Will Johnny be forced to leave the street? Meanwhile, despondent Roy drops the theatre tickets that Cathy bought him for Christmas in the bin. Determined to put things right, Nessa secretly retrieves them and she and Ken attempt to persuade Cathy to give Roy a second chance. Clearly hurt, Cathy orders Nessa to get out of her sight. Arriving at the cafe, will Cathy be able to bring herself to forgive Roy? Elsewhere, when Joanne turns up at the garage, Kevin paints on a smile and secretly wishes she had left him alone. Kevin admits to Anna that he doesn't fancy Joanne, but doesn't know how to let her down gently. Determined to see her rival off, what has Anna got up her sleeve? Also today, Erica invites Dev round for dinner and Mary offers to babysit. Later, Mary melts when Brendan presents her with flowers, assuring her that he's never been so happy since she became his girlfriend. Dev is annoyed when Mary announces that she can no longer babysit as she needs to prepare for her date. Friday 8th January 2016 7:30 Roy unburdens himself to Carla, telling her how he and Cathy have broken up and it's all his fault. Carla is adamant that Roy shouldn't give up and must try harder to win her round. Cathy gathers up Alan and Nessa's love letters at home, drops them in the bin and sets fire to them. Roy takes Carla's words on board and sets off for Cathy's house, with Nessa in pursuit. A fire has taken hold of the house and Cathy is struggling to breathe, but will Roy and Nessa arrive on time? Meanwhile, having discovered some graffiti on the garage wall, Kevin phones the council. Later, Tim and Sally lead Sophie and Kevin to the ginnel and reveal the blank wall where Maddie's mural used to be. Kevin blames himself, realising the council must have cleaned it off. Sally vows to kick up a fuss. Sophie also clocks the chemistry between Kevin and Anna. Elsewhere, when Brendan calls for Mary, Norris gives him short shrift and tells Mary she is making a terrible mistake. Will Mary have the support of any of her friends? Also, Kate does her best to restore order in the factory, but Carla and Aidan refuse to discuss the situation with Johnny. Finally, Nick insists that he, Carla and Robert should sit down to discuss wedding menus, while Tyrone confides in Kevin that they've got a date for Hope's operation but he has fallen behind on his loan repayments. 8:30 Cathy lies semi-conscious in her smoke-filled living room, crying out for help. As Roy and Nessa let themselves in, they're engulfed in smoke. Roy orders Nessa to phone the fire brigade as he rescues Cathy from her burning house. Thanking him for saving her life, Cathy collapses in Roy's arms. Will Roy's heroics bring the couple back together? As Cathy is loaded into the ambulance, she bitterly explains to Nessa that she started the fire while burning the offending love letters. Nessa arrives in the pub in a state and tells Ken about the fire at Cathy's house. Taking Nessa back to Number 1, Ken suggests they go their separate ways. Will Nessa be able to talk Ken round, or is their relationship over? Meanwhile, Anna leads Sophie, Sally, Tim and Kevin to the ginnel and reveals Craig and Caitlin hard at work on a replacement mural in memory of Maddie. Sophie is touched as Craig explains it was Anna's idea. In the café, Kevin suggests to Anna that they should bin the singles night and go out with each other. How will Anna respond? Elsewhere, Brendan takes Mary for a meal. He tells her there is nowhere in the world he'd rather be and gazes at her adoringly. Mary swoons. When Mary suggests to Brendan that they should finish their evening at Number 7 as Dev is out, Brendan is thrilled. Alone together, Brendan assures Mary that she means everything to him. Taken in by his flattery, will Mary lead Brendan upstairs? Also, as Nick and Robert talk wedding menus, Kate arrives with some factory paperwork. Grabbing the excuse to leave, Carla hurries out with Kate. http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/coro...ohnnys-secret/ |

So that is 3 times in the past 12-months Carla has been in a life threatening situation. This will just be forgotten like the rest. How bloody repetitive. |
