Thank you for the spoilers.
No mention of Simon and the domestic abuse storyline anywhere, not that I can find anyway.

Jenny and Kevin should be together IMO.

I am split over Pat's return. I like the actor playing him and think he does a good job, but I don't know if I can be bothered with yet another baddie tormenting or blackmailing a character.

Ditto.
The character got rid of Owen.
Bring back Owen, I'd rather see him return.

It is contrived how Carla always ends up in these terrible situations. And of course she would have to be hospitalized, no doubt in "critical" condition with the worried characters standing around wondering if she will pull through.

If this Metro article is true it's a complete rip off of the last Carla/Tracy thing a few months ago!!
Tracy skulking around looking for something to kill Carla with, then just ad she's chosen her weapon something happens to stop her but Carla ends up in mortal danger anyway!!
FFS if Jamie & his mate succeed in offing both Tracy & Carla at one go they would become my favourite characters of all time!!!!

Actress Paula Lane, who plays Kylie Platt, is to give birth to her second child in the summer.

It means show bosses face a major storyline headache.

Paula, 29, has been at the centre of Corrie’s most dramatic plot since her character killed Callum Logan (Sean Ward) in the live episode to mark ITV’s 60th anniversary last September.

The story was set to unfold further this year with crucial scenes involving David Platt, played by Jack P Shepherd, and his screen sister Sarah (Tina O’Brien).

But now writers will have to factor in Paula’s maternity leave.

Hopefully she is sent down for Callum's murder, along with David and Sarah as her accomplices for covering it up.

Anna confides in Izzy how Phelan gave Kevin his version of events, painting himself as the victim, in the sure knowledge that she wouldn't admit to Kevin about the sex. In an attempt to twist the knife, Phelan tells Kevin that after the project with Owen turned sour, Gary knocked him unconscious. Kevin's horrified. Kevin confronts Anna wanting to know why Gary attacked Phelan and left him for dead, but Anna remains tight lipped. Gary arrives home and is stunned to see Phelan working on the Arches. Gary sees red and makes a grab for him. Phelan feigns terror and Kevin rushes to his aid.

Todd wonders why Tracy is keeping her knowledge of Robert and Carla under wraps. Tracy explains that she's saving that bombshell for the right time and place. Meanwhile, the police question Carla about the robbery. Carla remembers that one of the robbers mentioned Steph's name. The police call in at the Bistro looking for Steph.

Rita looks at her tablet and is unnerved to read a message from someone.

Sally attempts to drum up support for her council campaign. While cutting Ken's hair, Audrey encourages him to set himself some goals and follow his heart's desire. Ken takes her words on board. Norris is unimpressed when Mary arrives for their drink with Brendan in tow.

8:30

Anna reigns Gary in while Kevin orders Jason to take Phelan to the pub out of harm's way. Still wound up, Gary tells Kevin that Phelan is a monster and he's obviously only heard half the story. Knowing that Ron is ripping him off, Jason and Phelan suggest to Kevin they take over the contract. Kevin agrees. Calling in at the flat, Kevin tells Anna that Ron was ripping him off so he's given the contract to Jason and Phelan instead. Anna tries to hide her dismay. Kevin assures her that in a few weeks the building work will be finished and Phelan will be history. Anna fights back tears.

Steph tells the police the only person she can think of with a grudge to bear is Jamie. When Steph finds out that Luke and Andy badmouthed Jamie to his boss and lost him his job, she is furious and points out their stupidity might have put Carla in hospital.

Mary tries to enjoy her drink but the atmosphere is strained with Norris and Brendan sniping at each other. Telling Norris to stay out of his way, Brendan heads out of the pub with Mary following closely behind.

Rita reveals to Sophie that Jenny has been in touch via Facebook and she's worried about her. Sophie warns her that Jenny is bad news and she should steer clear. When Ken offers to buy Audrey a drink, she becomes flustered and makes out she's too busy. Ken suggests tomorrow instead.

Wednesday 27 January 2016

When Ken reminds Audrey of their drink later, Audrey's embarrassed and makes out she's too busy. At the salon, Audrey is run off her feet and snaps at David and Kylie. Finally alone, Audrey tidies round when suddenly she suffers chest pains and collapses. Finding the salon door open, Ken enters and is horrified to find Audrey slumped in a chair. As Ken phones for an ambulance, will Audrey confess her love for him?

Norris warns Mary that Brendan isn't a very nice person and he's worried for her. Mary is dismissive, reckoning Norris is jealous. Brendan arrives at Dev's house, where Mary has missed going with Dev to watch Asha's cross country. Explaining that Dev's out for the day, Mary excitedly ushers him into No.7. But as Mary and Brendan cavort on the sofa in a state of undress, Dev arrives home early. Brendan grabs his shirt while Mary is mortified. When Dev suggests he'd prefer it if they used Brendan's house in future, will Mary be forced to admit that Brendan's married?

Rita meets up with Jenny in the park. Jenny assures her that she's got her life back on track and asks her if she can possibly forgive her but when Rita hesitates, Jenny flees, upset, and in her haste, drops her purse. Having found Jenny's address in the purse, Rita tracks her down to a squalid bedsit.

The police pay Carla a visit and tell her they've arrested Jamie and he's admitted to the robbery. Steph visits Carla and apologises for Jamie's actions.

Friday 29 January 2016
7:30

Rita calls at Jenny's flat and, finding her visibly scared and clearly in a bad way, insists she's coming to live with her. Jenny cries in Rita's arms. Jenny gathers her things and confides in Rita how she's dreading facing Kevin and Sophie again. Rita assures her they'll cross that bridge together. But when Rita and Jenny arrive back on the street, they come face to face with Kevin, Sophie and Jack!

Deeply embarrassed, Mary apologises to Asha and Aadi for her unacceptable behaviour and hands in her resignation to Dev. Dev is stunned and begs Erica to try and persuade Mary to retract her resignation because the children are devastated. At Erica and Liz's insistence, Mary joins them for a glass of wine. They suggest she was too hasty handing in her notice. A woman approaches and, introducing herself as Bridget, explains that she is Brendan's wife. Mary's horrified.

In the hospital, the consultant delivers the news about Hope's operation. Will Fiz and Tyrone get the good news they're so desperate to hear?

Gail fusses around Audrey as she recuperates on the sofa at No.8, relieved that Audrey suffered an angina attack and nothing worse. Ken calls with flowers but when he tries to discuss her feelings for him, will Audrey be quite so ready to open up? Richie O'Driscoll calls in at the factory and invites Aidan and Johnny to a drinks party at his house on Monday.

8:30

Putting a protective arm round Jack, Sophie vents her anger on Jenny, demanding to know what she's doing back on the street. At No.13, Jenny pours her heart out to Kevin, explaining how mentally ill she's been but with the help of counselling is now a lot better. Kevin listens, conflicted. In the Kabin, Sally rounds on Jenny but Kevin arrives and tells Jenny that while she must stay away from Jack, she's welcome to live with Rita as far as he's concerned. Sally and Norris are flabbergasted while Sophie's deeply upset by Kevin's attitude towards Jenny. Likening his own situation with Jenny to hers with Phelan, Kevin suggests it's time for Anna to forgive and forget. Will Anna take his words on board or will she decide there's no future for their relationship?

Calling Mary a trollop, Bridget slaps her face. Mary explains how she and Brendan are in love but Brendan arrives and, denying all knowledge of their affair, dismisses Mary as one of his weird fans, leaving Mary heartbroken. Bridget bundles Brendan into the car. Dev orders him to stay away from Mary. But will Brendan heed his words? Deeply upset, Mary heads back to No.7. Finding her with her bags packed, Erica decides it's time for a woman to woman chat.

Tyrone and Fiz share the news about Hope with their friends and family. Fiz tells Tyrone it's time they also face up to their mounting debts.

Over a drink, Johnny persuades Aidan that for the sake of the business they need to bury the hatchet.

Thank you.

Doesn't sound too interesting.

I am guessing Jenny is getting employment at the factory? And by proving her innocence I am guessing something goes missing, she will be blamed and low and behold, it was a misunderstanding!

More Carla and Johnny. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

And this handsome stranger will no doubt be a crook or something as almost a lot of the men in Corrieland are dodgy and up to something.

With Carla due home from hospital, Kate asks Johnny to get some shopping in and hands him the key to Carla's flat. Carla arrives home with Michelle and confides in her how the guilt of having slept with Robert behind Nick's back is killing her. Carla's horrified to find Johnny in her kitchen, having overheard. Johnny promises her secret is safe with him. Aidan and Eva set off for the O'Driscoll's party. Johnny grabs Robert and, shoving him into the ginnel, tells him they need to have a little chat.
Sally tells Kate how upset Sophie is that Jenny's back on the scene and asks her if she'll take her out for a drink and cheer her up. Kate is happy to help but, after hearing Jenny's explanation about how the death of her son made her mentally ill, Kate tells Sophie how deeply sorry Jenny is for what she did. Sophie is furious with Kate for siding with the enemy. Meanwhile, as Jenny helps out in the Kabin, Norris makes life uncomfortable.

Despite Tyrone's protestations, Fiz sets off to sell her engagement ring, insisting she has no choice as they need the cash. When Fiz arrives home, she finds Tyrone has cooked a surprise meal and bought a bottle of prosecco.

Kevin apologises to Anna for not being more understanding. Will they kiss and make up? Mary remains convinced that everyone's laughing behind her back.

8:30

Johnny menacingly reveals to Robert that he knows about his fling with Carla and suggests he should pull out of the bistro and walk away. Meanwhile, Aidan and Eva arrive at the O'Driscolls' and are taken aback to realise they've been invited to a formal dinner party. Aidan desperately tries to get hold of Johnny who has got caught up with Carla, now blaming himself for her fateful night with Robert because she was reacting to the news that he's her Dad. After dinner, Richie and Julia lead the guests into the lounge for karaoke. Aidan's horrified but Eva saves the day and Richie is impressed. Aidan and Eva arrive home. Unbeknown to them, a teenage girl called Marta quietly slips out of the back of the van whilst Aidan berates Johnny for failing to show up at the O'Driscolls and letting him down yet again.

Sally lays into Jenny, Rita and Kate for upsetting Sophie. Kate is mortified and insists she was only trying to help. Tim leads Kate back to No.4 and encourages she and Sophie to sort out their differences. Meanwhile, Rita approaches Aidan about a job for Jenny at the factory. Aidan offers Jenny a trial as the cleaner.

Tyrone pours over the household accounts. Fiz switches off the heating and insists they wear an extra jumper instead. Tyrone's deflated

Phelan, Jason and Eileen enjoy a drink in the bistro. Kevin and Anna arrive for dinner. Phelan smirks at Anna, unnerving her. Clearly upset, Mary refuses to leave the sanctuary of No.7, adamant everyone's talking about her. At Dev's request, Erica tries to speak to Mary but only makes matters worse.

Wednesday 3 February 2016

Robert calls on Carla and angrily tells her how Johnny threatened him. Pointing out that she has more to lose than he has, Robert suggests she have a word with her Dad. Later, Carla arrives at the factory with Richie in tow and is embarrassed to find Johnny and Aidan mid-row. Carla apologises to Richie and assures him it's a one off. Dispatching Aidan and Richie, Carla rounds on Johnny, telling him about her visit from Robert and ordering him to stay out of her personal life.

Jenny is nervous as she prepares for her first day at work. Furious to discover that Jenny is the new cleaner at Underworld, Sally storms into the office and tells Aidan either he sacks Jenny or she's resigning. Meanwhile, Sean and Beth are furious to discover someone has stolen their lunch. Beth is then horrified to find a tenner missing from her purse. Sally and Beth reckon Jenny's the culprit. As Rita and Jenny enjoy a quiet drink, Sally approaches and, pointing the finger, accuse a mortified Jenny of thieving from the factory staff.

Tyrone is downbeat as Fiz hands him a cheap packed lunch. When Tyrone looks wistfully at Luke's fish and chips, Luke takes pity on him and swaps half his lunch. Later Fiz and Tyrone are touched when Luke offers to increase his rent by 50 a month.

Simon is thrilled when he's picked for the football team. Leanne's delighted to see him smiling for once. Erica calls at No.7 and drags Mary away from the TV, insisting they're going shopping.

Friday 5 February 2016
7:30

The factory staff continue to give Jenny a hard time, adamant she's the thief. As the girls head off for the evening, Jenny stays behind to give the place a good clean. While Sophie and Tyrone finish up at the garage, Jack wanders out on to the forecourt and, spotting Jenny over at the factory, waves to her. Kevin, Sophie and Tyrone search frantically for Jack, worried sick that Jenny may have snatched him again. In the factory, a tearful Jenny hugs Jack closely.

At Johnny's suggestion, Sinead tells Aidan that he'd be best to use real women for the O'Driscolls' modelling campaign. Aidan likes the idea. Calling in the Rovers he thanks Sinead, revealing the O'Driscolls' loved her idea. But who will Aidan suggest should be their 'real woman' model? Meanwhile, Kate implores Aidan and Johnny to bury the hatchet, threatening to cancel her wedding if they don't.

Simon returns from his counselling session and Leanne's pleased that he finally seems to be making some progress. With some encouragement from Zeedan, Leanne agrees to go clubbing with Eva.

When Erica drags Mary to the Rovers, Mary is surprised and gratified with the wave of support she receives from the factory girls. Sally calls Ken and Tim together for an election campaign meeting. With only 4 weeks to go, Ken's worried but Sally insists they rise to the challenge.

8:30

Kevin scoops Jack into his arms while Jenny desperately tries to explain that she didn't abduct Jack, but he came to her. Kevin and Sophie are disbelieving whilst Rita's conflicted. Jenny pleads her case to Rita but it's clear she isn't convinced. Awash with guilt, Kevin reveals to Sophie and Anna how Jack told him he followed Jenny into the factory and she was telling the truth. As Jenny loads her things into a cab, Kevin approaches and apologises, asking her not to leave. Rita also apologises for ever doubting her.

Leaving Leanne in the bistro, Eva heads to the factory looking for Aidan. Finding the factory office empty, Eva's about to go when she notices some movement behind a pile of boxes. She's startled when Marta reveals herself. Having brought Marta some food, Eva quizzes her and is shocked to hear the truth about how Marta came to be at the factory.

Leanne is flattered when a good looking guy called Tom chats her up in the bistro and gives her his phone number.

Kate orders Johnny and Aidan to iron out their differences for the sake of the family. Johnny pours his heart out to Aidan, telling him how much he means to him and how much he loved Aidan's mother. Will Aidan thaw towards him? Sally soft soaps Audrey and persuades her to hand over her address book in the hope it'll contain some important contacts at the council.
