Tracey Barlow is going to get an infection in her one transplanted kidney and be at deaths door. I doubt that she'll actually go through that door though.
Seems no-one is bothered about her and the only person who goes to see her in hospital is Ken. Amy doesn't saying that she's seen good mothers and that Tracey isn't one of them. No doubt Tracy will get angry because no one visited her (apart from Ken) and moan about how no one gives her respect. It'll probably be followed up by her blaming a character for her predicament and a new feud will start. I have no faith in the Corrie team developing her, the character has been going in the same circles for a long time. Plus she is so unlikeable (and not in the love to hate kind of way, she is just grating to watch) so I don't feel anything for her. I just wish she would die and bring an end to the character, but we all know it isn't going to happen. |

I realise that.
That's why I thought they had killed of Tony so that non of the major characters would take the blame and go inside for X number of years. Tony is the perfect suspect. Ties up the Callum story line without losing anyone major. If the writers don't go down that route then I can't see why else they would have killed off Tony. |

Perhaps he just goes into the room and there's something which alarms him - maybe a smell or a stain on the carpet? But why they would suddenly happen, who knows. The writers have demonstrated time and time again that they live in another world to the rest of us. |

Apart from giving Phelan another swindling storyline, cheating Jason out of his inheritance, which he wouldn't have if Tony hadn't died.

Ties up the Callum story line without losing anyone major. If the writers don't go down that route then I can't see why else they would have killed off Tony. Tony has been killed off for Jason's exit but I don't know which way it will go; we know David tries to blame Jason, but I still think Phelan will be involved too. Maybe he will persuade Jason to go on the run and he'll take care of his business? But still, that means David has to persuade Kylie and Sarah to go along with it and I don't see them doing so. Maybe Jason will initially be blamed and will sign his affairs over to Pat. Kylie/Sarah will crack and threaten to tell all. David then somehow implicates Tony and persuades the girls to go along as Tony is dead. Jason leaves as his Dad is labelled a murderer. Case is closed meaning no-one major is lost and the stress of it all breaks up David and Kylie, with her leaving. Means a possible return in the future with the Platts relatively unscathed. But this is Corrie and anything could happen. I'm still not clear whether the police found Callum's burnt out car and whether there's anything to link it to Tony? |

Monday 30th May
7:30 Gail, David, Kylie, Max and Lily move into Carla's vacated flat temporarily. Sarah's jittery about the police investigation but David urges her to stick to their story. Gemma calls at the police station and informs DS Kerr she knows who killed Callum. Marion blames David for Callum's demise and slaps his face. Gail confides in a shocked Sarah who she suspects is the killer. The police arrive and begin making arrests. Kerr questions David about events prior to Callum's disappearance. David coolly admits he's glad Callum's dead but didn't kill him. Gail, Kylie and Sarah realise that the police consider David the prime suspect. But, under pressure, David has the name of another of Callum's enemies for them. Sinead turns down Aidan's offer of a last-minute modelling job, having promised to spend the day with Chesney who's just back from Portugal. Spotting Gemma in floods of tears over Callum, Chesney offers to lend her a hand at the kebab shop, postponing his day out with disappointed Sinead who's miffed to find Chesney giggling with Gemma in the kebab shop, having successfully lifted her spirits. 8:30 David fills in DS Kerr on Jason's work on the garage conversion and his feud with Callum. The police arrive on the street and approach Jason. Kylie and Sarah are taken aback to realise that David put the police onto Jason. At the station, Jason is unnerved when DS Kerr points out that he had a strong motive for murder and the opportunity to dispose of the body. On the street, Jason furiously accuses David of trying to implicate him to cover his own tracks. Gail and Eileen weigh in to defend their sons. In the Rovers, Sinead knocks back wine and vents her frustration over Chesney. Aidan, working alone in the Underworld office after hours, is startled when drunken Sinead barges in, all dolled up ready for the modelling job he offered earlier. When Aidan explains she's too late, Sinead bursts into tears. Aidan comforts tearful Sinead. Touched, she leans in for a kiss but Aidan quickly pulls back. Horrified, Sinead flees in tears and Chesney finds her passed out drunk on the sofa at No.5. When Norris rudely asks him to examine some loose roof slates at No.3, Phelan turns down the measly job, to Jason's disapproval. Phelan backtracks and offers his and Jason's services to Norris. Norris points out that he needs someone who will do a good job, leaving Phelan seething. Wednesday 1st June Jason accosts Sarah in the street, demanding to know what David's playing at. In the cafe, Todd gently suggests to Sarah that David's trying to frame Jason to throw the police off his own trail. Feeling the pressure, Sarah storms out and is aghast at the sight of a man that appears to be Callum. Todd corners Billy in the pub and fishes for information on Sarah. When Billy hints that Callum may have physically threatened Sarah, Todd surmises that David acted to save her. Billy refuses to indulge in such speculation. Todd calls on Sarah to probe her about Callum but is thrown when Sarah asks if he believes in ghosts. Todd is astonished when Sarah suddenly flips. Chesney apologises to Sinead for leaving her in the lurch yesterday. Riddled with guilt, Sinead tells him she was out drinking all night with Fiz. At the factory, Sinead sheepishly apologises to Aidan for her clumsy pass. Eva clocks the exchange and pushes Aidan for an explanation. Chesney is suspicious when Fiz lets slip that she wasn't with Sinead all night. Aidan and Chesney make polite conversation in the Rovers. Eva can hold her tongue no longer and blurts out that Sinead made a play for Aidan. Chesney is devastated. Roy and Cathy announce their engagement to a delighted Fiz and Anna. Roy presents Cathy with an engagement ring. Norris trains some binoculars on his roof. Phelan again offers to look at the slates but Norris rejects the idea of employing a murder suspect like Jason. Norris is intrigued when Alastair, a customer in the Kabin, mentions he's in property and is currently seeking Edwardian-era roof slates to restore a period building. Norris realises he could make a tidy profit and phones Alastair to strike the deal. Friday 3rd June 7:30 It's Bethany's 16th birthday and Gail bans all talk of Callum for the day but yesterday's scare continues to prey on Sarah's mind. Callum still on her mind, Sarah is spooked when Bethany receives a parcel from a secret admirer in the post. Todd tells Jason he's sure that Sarah's hiding something about Callum's death. Jason is defeatist but Todd vows to get to the truth. Todd implores Sarah to confide in him and is baffled when Sarah lets slip that she saw Callum's dead body. Todd humours Sarah and promises to keep her confidence and asks who killed him. Todd's eyes widen in shock as Sarah whispers her reply in his ear. Alastair loads the roof slates from No.3 onto a truck and promises Norris the new tiles will arrive shortly. But rather than pay Norris for the slates, he drives off, leaving Norris roofless. Phelan gloats at Norris's misfortune but offers to retile his roof at mates' rates. Mary forces Norris to swallow his pride and accept. The McDonalds are enjoying breakfast in the Rovers when Tracy barges in, intent on taking Amy back to No.1. Amy refuses and Tracy leaves, thwarted. Steve tries to persuade Amy to forgive Tracy but to no avail. Michelle hatches a plan. When Michelle coaxes Amy into admitting that she does miss Tracy a little, Steve blunders in giving the game away. Amy is furious. Amy is intrigued when Will knocks on the Rovers' back door asking to see Michelle. Chesney is furious with Sinead for trying to kiss Aidan. Will he accept her explanation? When Yasmeen and Sharif announce they are going away for the weekend, Zeedan excitedly texts Rana inviting her round for the evening. When she arrives, she kisses him passionately. 8:30 Sarah tells Todd that Callum attacked her and she's to blame for his death. As she breaks down, Sarah is oblivious that Todd believes she's just confessed to murder. Todd tries to calm Sarah. David is alarmed to spot them talking and whisks Sarah away to Bethany's party. Billy is astounded when Todd reveals that Sarah killed Callum. Todd refuses to let Sarah be punished for her tormentor's murder but can't countenance Jason taking the rap either. Feeling for him, Billy insists he must do the right thing. Todd doesn't know what to do. Michelle's shocked to find Amy grilling Will about how they know each other. She quickly bundles Will out of the back door. Amy is suspicious and asks if Michelle is going to dump Steve for Will. Shocked, Michelle denies it and assures Amy that she loves Steve. When Michelle suggests she should go back to Tracy, Amy insists that if she can't stay at the Rovers, she'll tell Steve about Will. As their kiss gets steamy, Rana leads Zeedan towards the stairs but he irritably points out that she knows he doesn't believe in sex before marriage. Rana is frustrated and Zeedan is gutted when Rana decrees that by putting his beliefs above her feelings, he's ending their relationship. Jason enters the pub to find Gemma looking miserable. But when he approaches, she furiously accuses him of murder and throws her drink over him. Sinead explains to Chesney that her own insecurities cause her jealousy, but he thinks it's a poor excuse for kissing Aidan. When Sinead hints that Chesney should kiss someone to even the score, he storms out leaving her panicking. Chesney finds Gemma feeling sorry for herself and fills her in on Sinead's antics. Gemma urges Chesney to fight for Sinead if he loves her. Can he save his relationship? Phelan basks in Norris' gratitude for saving his roof before meeting up with Alastair. Was this another of Phelan's scams? http://www.corrie.net/kabin/gazette.html |

After Hayles died, there was never any need for Royston to be in a partnership with anyone else in the future; friendship okay, but not a partnership. Writers do not seem to understand sometimes.
Footie this evening, too. Poor Steve. If he has to be with someone, and Leanne has to be with someone, they would go quite well together IMO. Todd is framed for Callum's murder? |

I really hope Leanne and Nick remain as friends, don't reunite them as a couple.

Steve should give his head a shake & remember how he cheated on Michelle with Becky then hadn't the balls to end things with her, treating her like sh*t to try & get her to dump him!!
He hardly has a glowing record for fidelity does he!!

So Phelan is going to swindle Norris by getting his mate to strip Norris's roof of Victorian roof tiles and then charge him for putting them back. Has the Kabin got Victorian roof tiles? Surely it was a new build after the mission and original factory were demolished so would they have used Victorian tiles on a new build not intended to look Victorian? And then rebuilt again after the tram crash.

It will be the house, not the Kabin. |

Monday 6 June 2016
7:30 When Steve suggests Amy should have her tea at Tracy's and start building some bridges, Amy bunks off school and returns home in a foul mood. She confides in Michelle that Sam's dumped her on the grounds she's horrible like her mother. In the Rovers backyard, Michelle assures Amy that Will was her first boyfriend and means nothing to her now as she loves Steve. Amy apologises and they hug. Steve and Michelle share a tender kiss in the back room. They're interrupted by the arrival of Will and Saskia. Clearly fired up, Saskia has an accusation to make. Billy puts pressure on Todd to do the right thing and tell the police about Sarah's confession. Hungover, Sarah tries to remember how much she told Todd. Todd goes to the police station and makes a statement. He tells the police that Tony Stewart killed Callum Logan and confessed to the murder months ago. Todd arrives home and announces that he's been to the police and reported Tony for Callum's murder. Eileen, Jason and Billy listen in stunned silence. Leanne and Simon return from Portsmouth. Eva tells Leanne about Nick and Carla's disastrous wedding and how Tracy blackmailed the money out of Carla to buy the bistro. Leanne is shocked and worried for Nick. Leanne calls at Nick's flat and is horrified at his dishevelled state. She vows to help him win back the bistro from Robert. Leanne confronts Robert and asks him if he'd be willing to sell Nick his share of the bistro back. Tim furtively flogs bottles of home brew from the conservatory to his mates. When Sophie calls round, Tim refuses to let her in, leaving Sophie suspicious. Fearing for her job, Izzy confides in Johnny that she's up in court next week for assaulting a police officer. Johnny is sympathetic, gives her a week off on full pay and insists her job is safe. Izzy is touched. 8:30 Michelle assures Steve that she realised her mistake and never actually had sex with Will. Devastated, Steve orders Will and Saskia out of the pub. In the cab office, Steve confides in Tim how Michelle cheated on him with Will while he was recuperating in Spain. Tim is sympathetic. Will calls in at the cab office and promises Steve that after a roll around on the bed, Michelle got cold feet. Because an incensed Steve has hurt his arm, Tim comes to his aid and punches Will and the two men wrestle. Steve returns home where Michelle has her own accusations to make. Jason is disbelieving as Todd explains how Tony confessed to Callum's murder but made him swear he'd keep schtum. Eileen warns Todd that he'd better be telling the truth. Billy glares at Todd, appalled at his lies. Will Jason believe Todd? Todd relates the same story to David and tells him he's told the police everything. David is gobsmacked. David shares his information with Kylie and Sarah and suggests they back up Todd's story as it's their only hope. Billy confronts Todd demanding to know why he lied to the police. Todd insists he did the right thing protecting both Jason and Sarah. By way of a compromise, Robert offers Nick a job at the bistro working with Leanne as co-manager. Nick is unimpressed and Leanne tells Robert if that's the best he can come up with, she's quitting her job. Tim takes Steve back to No.4 to reveal his homemade pub, The Sponge & Bucket. Stuffing a couple of bottles in his own pocket, Craig serves Steve some craft ale. Wednesday 8 June 2016 The police call at No.11 to question Todd and suggest to Todd that perhaps he, Tony and Jason conspired to kill Callum between them. Todd is shocked to realise he is now in the frame for murder. Eileen tentatively points out to Jason that Tony loved him very much and when he said he wanted revenge on Callum, perhaps he meant murder. His guilt weighing heavily, Billy tells Todd he's considering telling the police the truth. Todd begs him to think twice as in doing so he'd destroy Sarah's life. Sean and Billy settle down to a cosy lunch in the bistro. Billy gets a call from Todd telling him he's found Lee unconscious in the ginnel. Billy heads out, clearly worried, and Sean is fuming to find himself playing second fiddle yet again. Todd helps Billy with Lee and Billy's anguish is evident. Todd tells him how sorry he is and gives him a comforting hug. Sean watches from a distance, stunned. Michelle laments to Eva that Steve can barely look at her, let alone talk to her. In the cab office, Steve confides in Tim how he can't get thoughts of Michelle with Will out of his head. Michelle begs Steve to forgive her but Steve remains cold, telling her he doesn't want a wife he has to forgive. Hearing their row, Amy's upset and Steve comforts her. When Craig admits he's hungover and he got the beer from Tim, Beth's furious. Beth tears a strip off Tim for allowing Craig to help himself to his home brew. When Beth threatens to tell Sally about the goings on at No.4, Tim buys her silence with free beer. With Leanne gone, Robert is short-staffed and snaps at Andy, Steph and Zeedan. http://www.corrie.net/kabin/gazette.html |
