Looks like Peter isn't drunk when he realizes he loves her then!

I read in the new tv magazine in work for next week Carla finds Peter with the drink so takes him back to her place to sort himself out has a shower etc then he opens up to her realising she is the only one who understands him and be himself
Around then Carla tells him to go home to his wife but Peter struggles to leave he kisses her and tells her he loves her etc she says to him to not say things he doesn't mean then he stays the night but it also said they don't actually sleep
Together ...

Looks like we're in for a treat with these scenes- the Carla/ Peter/ Leanne saga has been one of the best soap storylines this year.

This year? Has it only been this year? It seems to have dragged on forever, without being in the slightest way of any interest.

I like the sound of this. It is nice that Carla is telling him to go home, rather than responding immediately, which is understandable now.

I absolutely cannot wait to see this! I hope they don't sleep together that first night but I kind of think they will. Would be nice if they waited a while longer though to build a little more on the emotional side of things especially now since Peter's realised his true feelings. It'll be interesting to see how he deals with it.

I hope the Tracey/Becky spoilers are true though tbh I'm rather indifferent to both characters.

It looks very true!!!: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...p-airport.html

“You had your chance McDonald. In fact you had loads of chances and blew ’em all. And I’ve finally met the man who I know I’ll love unconditionally and that he’ll love me the same way, so no way José! I’ve finally won the lottery Stevie boy and I couldn’t be happier.”- I LOVE THAT QUOTE! YES, BECKS!
Yay! I love Becky and I'm gutted she's leaving, but I'm glad she seems to be getting a happy ending. And one that doesn't involve falling straight back into Steve's arms when he finally realises what an idiot he's been! She's worth ten of him IMO.

Friday 9th December

Ken steps into the breach when Peter fails to turn up at the tram crash memorial service, unaware his son is on a drunken rampage and Carla is trying her best to prevent his relapse. Tyrone vows to help Kirsty make peace with Tina, while Stella keeps her distance from Lloyd after his clumsy pass.

Aww One of the things I love best about the whole Carla/Peter thing is the way they care about and look after each other like this.
I can just imagine how Leanne will react when/if she finds out he was at Carla's the whole time he was 'missing' though...

- rather the same way that I would react, I should imagine, if my husband was with another woman.

Indeed. To be fair to Leanne, I'd be absolutely fuming that it doesn't look like Carla even makes the effort to contact her to tell her that Peter's with her and not dead in a ditch. Seeing as Lee already doesn't trust Carla as far as she can throw her, this really won't help matters.

I'm happy to hear that. I'll miss her but she deserves to be with someone who loves and appreciates her.

'Peter makes plans to see his lover, Carla, on Christmas Day. But as he sneaks around behind wife Leanne's back, is someone in the Street set to get wind of his secret?'

This could be to do with:

A necklace bought as an xmas present could be the clue that gives away an explosive Corrie affair but who are the secret lovers?

Wasn't this plot used quite recently? Or did someone get two presents mixed up?

The last time I remember it getting used was when John was having the affair with Rosie and he got the Christmas presents mixed up- he gave Fizz the sexy underwear that wasn't her size and he gave Rosie the pjs meant for Fizz.
