First BIB - thank you
What marriage though?

Second BIB - That wasn't fighting for her husband; that was being a normal supportive wife
Oh yeah forgot they wont get married!

Oh right yes, she was being a normal supportive wife, I'm not saying she wasn't, but she still had to fight.. anyway, what I mean is I believe that was the scene that the article about Leanne having to fight for her husband was referring to

I'm sure Jane Danson said somewhere re Leanne and Peter, that if they were going to get back together then they'd have to spend a fair bit of time apart first.

What do you think of " fans will see the dark tale reach a conclusion later this year."? Why would it take so long? I wonder.

I think that, in the end, it must get out/ confirmed that Frank did rape Carla. I can't see how it can't not come out. I would hope Carla gets some form of justice, even if it is just the recognition that he did rape her by those who initially doubted her, as I'm sure there are people who have been through what she has watching, and people who sadly may go through it, so I'd hope corrie send out the message that it is important to report rape, and that justice will be done.

I think if Frank does get off with it then he'll just continue on as normal running his factory, whereas the repercussions of Carla and Peter's affair will go on for quite a while I imagine. Then after that, Frank may go after someone else. One drama at a time imo.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Yes, I think it seems likely to my mind that Frank will be found not guilty of rape (maybe partly because the jury does not believe all that Carla says once proof is shown of her affair with Peter), that Peter and Carla have an intense affair that sadly causes upset amongst family and friends and a few months later they split up, maybe Peter goes into rehab and then Simon lives with? who? Leanne? Ken?, after Leanne has managed to learn to live as an independent woman without having to lean on or live with any man, and then .... I am looking months ahead speculating It's interesting sharing thoughts with others

When the rape storyline was first announced weren't we told that Tracy would be involved in some way? If I remember correctly it was reported that she'd stand up in court and give Frank a character reference or something along those lines but so far there's no sign she's going to become involved at all.

Maybe she'll be called for the defense, give Frank a good character reference and those two will end up together again.

Possible I suppose but the more I think about it the less likely it is what with Tracy not being mentioned in any spoilers and with her own big storyline currently on the go it'll be unlikely she'll get another so soon.

It's a theory though ...

Definately. I believe that the affair being exposed is going to blow holes right in Carla's case. Her solicitor did say that Frank's defence team would be looking for anything to discredit her, and since her and Peter aren't very discreet she's practically sabotaged her case. Frank though will be eerily cool and calm and believable (as always!). I also can't see P&C lasting long. I think they'll give it a go, but there'll be a lot to contend with when they go official.

Please, please, please no. I think leanne should kick him out, and he goes off to join his mate ....thingy....on a 'round the world twice' cruise.

.......... it seems likely to my mind that Frank will be found not guilty of rape (maybe partly because the jury does not believe all that Carla says once proof is shown of her affair with Peter),............
I think you're right, but I disagree about the reason. The affair has absolutely no relevance to the case, why should it have? But, according to spoilers, carla denies it under oath, and is then shown to be a liar. It's that, rather than the affair, which means the jury choose not to believe carla.

................... If I remember correctly it was reported that she'd { Tracy } stand up in court and give Frank a character reference...........
Wow .. a character reference from Tracy .... that would really do it.

Sorry, I must have badly worded what I typed.
That is what I meant, that she lied under oath.

Katherine Kelly says, "It's great that Becky gets to go out with a bang - she drops the bomb then leaves the carnage behind."

Memories of the "Back of the net" parting shot from Nick's girlfriend, can't remember her name.

And Simon Gregson

Being a brunette suits Katherine Kelly, I think.
