i'm quite looking forward to this. i have only saw little bits of terry's antics, but i think it should be interesting to see his relationship with tommy, considering tommy was sold by him and doesn't even know him really.. should be good.

Any married man who splits with his o/h and moves his bit on the side in within two weeks... how the hell does he expect Simon to react. Peter is such a d1ck... and a selfish one at that. He is doing everything he wants without thinking about Simon.

The poor boy's devastated in the wake of his dad's marriage break-up, and is struggling to accept that stepmum Leanne is no longer part of their lives. He's also been playing up at school and giving his dad cheek, much to Peter's frustration. Although Carla has offered to help as much as she can with the lad, Peter can see she has problems of her own- and points out that it might be best if she leaves the parenting to him for a while. It's clear Peter's out of his depth, though, when he arrives at Ken and Deirdre's to pick up his son. Simon steadfastly refuses to leave with his dad, despite Ken pointedly saying goodbye to his grandson and reminding Simon that they'll see him again tomorrow. Obviously distressed, Simon asks if 'she's' going to be there. When an exasperated Peter asks who he means, Simon replies ''Carla''- and his dad explains that of course Carla will be there, since it's her home now. Simon's having none of it, however, retorting that as long as it's Carla's home, it's not his- and repeats again that he's not going back to the flat with his dad. At the end of his tether, Peter has no other choice but to scoop up the little lad and drag him kicking and screaming back home. With Ken and Deirdre forced to look on powerless as Simon begs them to let him stay at their house, is there anything Peter can do to make his son understand that Carla's here to stay?

I always see people commenting about her being good with Liam but how many scenes did they have together exactly? It's Peter who is in the wrong here. He is Simons father and should put him first.

Does it really matter how many scenes she has had with him? I was just commenting that she seemed to interact with him quite nicely. I just don't exactly see where people are coming from who say she hasn't got a maternal bone in her body. We haven't really been given the chance to find out, though we have heard snippets about her relationship with Ryan.

And I didn't say anything about Peter. There is no excusing his behaviour. He needs to think for once or get some guidance.

Well I don't see her being very maternal, she's very me me me, look at her reaction when Liam lost the baby didn't she say it's for the best and something simular when Leanne had her miscarriage. Just my opinion. I think she will try with Simon \t first anyway but will soon tire when he doesn't play along.

What does BIB mean? Forgive me, I thought you were directly mentioning my post but you were continuing on from your previous post.

She is very selfish, absolutely no room to argue about that but she isn't exactly a one dimensional character either. People react differently in different situations. I guess we will have to wait and see. Simon isn't going to make it easy for either of them, that is for sure.

Peter seems to make one stupid mistake after another but having her move in with him so soon is just asking for trouble.

I think she will make an effort at first...anyways. I just don't think her and Peter thought this far ahead. But Peters more to blame as he's the one with a son, and I agree he is definetly asking for trouble. It's ironic in a way because if he keeps this up Simon will resent him like he resents his dad(Ken).
