While Tyrone is away at work, Kirsty is clearly struggling to cope as baby Ruby bawls her head off. Tyrone asks Fiz and Sally to pop round No.9 and offer Kirsty some support. Fiz and Sally call on Kirsty who isn't impressed to see them. Sally lets slip that Tyrone asked them to pop round and Kirsty quietly fumes at this. Ruby won't stop crying so Kirsty starts to wreck the house in her rage. When Tyrone returns he's horrified by what he finds and takes Ruby to the Medical Centre.
When Brian hears news that the chair of his governors has died he instantly decides that Ken would make the perfect replacement in order to prevent the Vice Chair, Mrs Papadopolous, from taking over. After being well and truly buttered up, Ken agrees. At Bessie Street's election meeting Ken is introduced to the other governors. Ken's thoughts couldn't be further from school matters however as he is shocked to come face to face with Mrs Papadapolous, who he remembers from when she was known under another name.

Lloyd worries about Mandy when she tells him she's been thrown out of her house. He heads to Jenna's clinic but will his new found daughter be pleased to see him?

Michelle is finding it hard to accept that Ryan is besotted with Tracy and Gloria bars Norris.

Tyrone takes Ruby to see Dr. Carter convinced that Kirsty may have hurt her during her rampage. There's no signs of damage and Tyrone bluffs an excuse for his concerns claiming Ruby's pram collapsed with her in it. Later, feeling guilty about lying, Tyrone tells Fiz what really happened. Tyrone then tells her that she's beaten him in the past and Fiz is stunned. Fiz tells him that he and Ruby can stay at No.5 whenever they like. When Tyrone returns home he phones Kirsty's counsellor for advice. But when he does, he doesn't like what he hears and he's faced again with more of Kirsty's lies.

Mrs Papadopolous is none other than Wendy Crozier. When Brian finds out about Ken and Wendy's past he is intrigued to find out more. Ken feels uncomfortable and wishes he'd never agreed to any of this. When the votes are in Brian declares Ken the winner. Wendy congratulates him, suggesting that judging by his speech he's clearly not lost any of his passion. Ken wonders if he should stand down, however Brain reckons they're both adults and the affair was twenty years ago. Ken's anxious, however. Brian has no idea what the name Wendy Crozier can do to Deirdre.

Lloyd tries to talk Jenna round as she asserts that she wants nothing to do with him. She tells him to leave or she'll call security. Later Lloyd turns to Eileen for advice and decides to make an appointment at Jenna's clinic so he can be alone with Jenna

Michelle suggests that Ryan starts paying rent to stop him spending his money on Tracy. Stella soon finds herself bartering for Norris' custom.

Tyrone is still steaming due to Kirsty skipping her counselling sessions. He tells her he won't be leaving her alone with Ruby again. He asks Kevin for time off and Kevin begrudgingly obliges. Later, Kirsty's mum Alison turns up out of the blue. She's plucked up the courage to leave her husband Ed and go behind his back to see her granddaughter for the first time. Kirsty panics when she thinks her Dad might rock up. Tyrone insists Alison stays with them as he thinks it will help sort Kirsty out. Kirsty agrees but reckons it's a bad idea as her Dad will come looking for her. As Alison settles in and there's a furious banging on the door, it looks like Kirsty was right to be worried.

Michelle cringes when she realises she's booked to have her hair done at the same time as her nemesis, Tracy Barlow. While they're under the dryers, Tracy keeps winding her up until she can take no more. Michelle drags Tracy outside where the curlers start to fly. Michelle bans her from the flat in front of a mortified Ryan.

Lloyd makes an appointment at Jenna's clinic under a false name. When she sees him there, Jenna is furious. Lloyd manages to talk her round to get her to meet with him for a proper chat.

Ken tells Brian he wants to resign as the Chair of Governors as he is worried about the effects Wendy could have on his marriage. Brian sets up Ken and Wendy in a meeting. Wendy asks Ken not to resign but will he listen to her?

Kirsty and Tyrone are grateful for Alison's help and hope she will stick around. Later, Tyrone is with Ruby in the yard when there's a smash from inside. Hurtling in, fearing Ed has returned, Tyrone discovers Alison has smashed a bottle of milk. When he returns to the yard however Tyrone is on for one the biggest shocks of his life.

Lloyd's taking a new approach to winning Jenna round and takes her to the Bistro which Lloyd describes as his regular 'haunt'. However Jenna sees right through Lloyd. Has he made another terrible mistake?

Michelle reiterates that Ryan will not bring Tracy home. He ignores her when Tracy rings the buzzer wanting to spend the evening with him. When Michelle returns home early she's furious to find Tracy and chucks her out. Michelle then turns on Ryan and they have an almighty row. Later, Ryan emerges with a rucksack but where will he go?

Ken and Wendy meet for a cuppa and agree to put their past behind them for the school's sake. Izzy, Gary, Tina and Tommy prepare for their first fertility session.

Kirsty is horrified that Ruby's disappeared from her pram and searches frantically for her with Tyrone and Alison. Alison suggests they go back inside and call the police. When they do they find Ed standing there cradling Ruby. Kirsty demands Ed hands over Ruby which he does and then tells Alison she's coming home with him. Alison goes to pack but Kirsty won't have it. She rails at Ed for being a tyrant and a bully. Tyrone tries to diffuse the situation but in doing so, Ed loses his temper and punches Tyrone, which results in a fight spilling out onto the street. After her parents leave, Kirsty still rages, will Tyrone yet again bear the brunt of her fury?

Tracy's taken aback when Ryan lands on her doorstep with his bags. She tells him she'd love him to stay but Ken wouldn't approve. She won't impose on Ken's goodwill. Feeling dejected, Ryan tells Sophie he has nowhere to stay. She offers to talk to Sally about Rosie's old room. Sally agrees but what will Michelle say? Later, Michelle tries to make Ryan realise Tracy just doesn't want to live with him but Ryan won't listen.

After confessing to a delighted Lloyd that she's more of a pie and chips girl, he and Jenna escape the Bistro for the comfort of the Rovers. The pair bond over hotpots and Lloyd assures Jenna he's no intention of replacing her dad. Can Lloyd finally be on the path to having a meaningful relationship with his daughter?

Widow Wendy and Ken catch up on the last two decades and Izzy snaps after Owen fusses around her following her return from the fertility clinic.

A bruised Tyrone tells Kirsty he wants nothing to do with her as he leaves the house with Ruby. Later Fiz tells him he needs to take charge for Ruby's sake if nothing else. He returns to No.9 and tells Kirsty they can't carry on living together. He wants her out and he'll be keeping Ruby although she can see her as much as she likes. Kirsty begs Tyrone to reconsider but he insists he has to put himself and his baby first. Kirsty then turns nasty and she bites back producing a document that means she's the one calling the shots and leaves him reeling.
David notices that Maria seems distracted at work and he reckons she's doing the dirty behind Jason's back. Later, Jason's concerned when he suggests to Maria that he should start moving his things in but Maria snaps at him. Marcus takes the brave step to tackle Maria about what's up. And he can't believe what she tells him and how she's managed to keep it to herself

Jenna and Lloyd meet at his flat. When Mandy turns up unexpectedly it becomes clear Jenna wants nothing to do with her mother. Lloyd's concerned but agrees to her hiding in the bedroom while he tells Mandy that he hasn't seen his daughter. This goes well until Mandy clocks Jenna's coat on the sofa.

When Mary wins a lavish holiday for two, Norris is determined to be invited as her guest. David's embarrassed when he can't afford to buy Max new footie boots. Paul plans a surprise party for Eileen, but does Eileen want any fuss?

Tyrone can't believe that Kirsty hasn't put his name on Ruby's birth certificate or that she'd threaten him with never seeing his child again. Tyrone tells a shocked Fiz that Kirsty is threatening to take Ruby away from him and has made sure that he has no parental rights. Realising he doesn't have a leg to stand on, Tyrone goes home and tells Kirsty that she's right, they owe it to Ruby to work things out. He's happy for her to stay but he can't trust her to look after Ruby. He suggests that she sees a counsellor, returns to work and he becomes a stay at home dad. Kirsty agrees and gets her old job back. Tyrone then tells a furious Kevin he needs a year off. Fiz meanwhile can't believe Tyrone's news. She's dead against it as she reckons he's being blackmailed by Kirsty. But will her words ring true with Tyrone?

Maria explains to Marcus that she's been referred to a clinic about a lump in her breast and her appointment is that day. She wanted to keep quiet about it until she knew what she was facing. Marcus insists on coming to the hospital with her. After fobbing Aiden off, and avoiding Jason, Maria and Marcus arrive at the clinic. The tests are inconclusive and when they head back to the street not even Marcus' informed encouragement about the potential prognosis can seem to lessen Maria's stark fear.

Mandy demands answers from Lloyd. How could he be so cruel to keep his meetings with Jenna secret when she's been worried sick? Jenna steps in telling her mother she asked Lloyd to keep quiet and that she's a terrible mother. Mandy's inconsolable, she's raised Jenna and now it's Lloyd who has the relationship with her. Lloyd's gutted but doesn't know what to do to help.

Norris fumes when Mary offers the Croppers her first class flights. David feels inadequate when Nick spoils Max with new football boots.

Maria is beside herself that she might have breast cancer. Marcus calls in sick for Maria, although Kylie has her suspicions. Jason meanwhile gears up to move into the flat. Maria tells him she wants to wait another week before he moves in, coming clean about her cancer fears. Jason's hurt when Maria declines his offer to accompany her to hospital, insisting she has Marcus for that.

Mandy appears at Streetcars telling Lloyd she's moving back to Nottingham. Lloyd offers her the spare room in his flat to give her more time to patch things up with Jenna and she reluctantly agrees. Later, Lloyd turns up with Jenna and it's clear he's tricked them into seeing each other. Jenna is disgusted when she finds out Mandy is going to live with Lloyd for a while and accuses them both of carrying on from where they left off.

Kirsty tells everyone at the factory how wonderful Tyrone is for the sacrifice he's making allowing her to come back and Fiz has to bite her tongue. Later, when Kirsty joins the factory girls for a drink in the Rovers, Fiz snaps at Kirsty, reminding her she has a baby at home to look after. Kirsty is furious with Fiz and when she returns home she tells Tyrone how Fiz had a go at her, but Tyrone keeps counsel.

Roy and Hayley head off for the sun leaving Anna in charge with Mary as her right hand woman. David is fed up with being the poor relation in the family.

It's the day of Maria's results and she's beside herself with worry. Maria tells an annoyed David that she won't be in work again today. Meanwhile, Jason wishes her luck as she sets off for the hospital. With Marcus holding her hand, Maria receives news about the lump in her breast. Taking it in, an emotional Maria thanks Marcus for being such a good friend. Realising he needs to speak to Maria again, Jason decides to go and see her at her flat where Maria is spilling her heart out to Marcus. As she tells him he's one of the most important people in her world it's clear that their relationship is about to develop in a way neither of them could have expected!

Anna tackles Mary about a Spanish night at the cafe but is soon swept away by Mary's enthusiasm. As Mary's plans for her night get into full swing, over at the Bistro, Nick's concerns grow when bookings are thin on the ground and Norris tells him he has competition from Mary who persuaded him to cancel his booking at the Bistro in favour of a 10% discount and free bottle of wine at the cafe's Spanish night.

It's Ken's first governors meeting and Brian's put out when Ken backs Wendy to oppose one of his proposals, which then is voted against. Later Brian is all ears when Wendy makes Ken an offer he finds he can't bring himself to refuse however much he should.

Tempers fray between Tyrone and Kevin. Lloyd persuades Mandy to go to dinner with him. At no. 11 Eileen is ecstatic when she returns home to a surprise party.

Marcus and Maria pull back from their kiss when Jason rings the doorbell. Their shock is interrupted by a none the wiser Jason asking for news of Maria's hospital visit. Taking it in, Jason tells Maria to meet him at Eileen's party. Alone again, Maria and Marcus try to fathom out what made them kiss and are adamant that they both want to be with their other halves. They agree to forget it and move on but they're both clearly rattled and are awkward later at Eileen's party. Maria apologises to Jason and tells him he should move in after all. Later as Eileen's party winds down, Maria takes Jason back home and Marcus heads off clubbing with Aiden. But will Marcus and Maria really be able to forget what happened?

The cafe is crammed as the Spanish night proves to be popular. Emily's even convinced that Roy would approve. Over the road however, the Bistro is empty. Nick wants to see what all the fuss is about at the cafe and so he heads over and although Nick is annoyed at Mary he can't help but be impressed by her efforts.

Over a drink, Ken reflects on how guilty he still feels about leaving Wendy high and dry all those years ago. She reiterates that it's all water under the bridge and gives him a gift. It's his birthday tomorrow and she hasn't forgotten. Ken is moved. Meanwhile, Deirdre collars Brian about the governors meeting going on so long. When Brian pointedly says Ken's probably been waylaid, something in his tone intrigues her. When Ken gives his excuses for being late he claims he was with Brian. Deirdre seethes, she knows he's lying!

Although they are rattling along with their new arrangement, tensions still bubble under the surface for Kirsty and Tyrone.

Dunno about the neck, but the head wobbles about so much we think its gonna fall off its neck!

I think that Maria and Marcus's kiss was simply they needed to share their intense mutual feeling about her health scare.


I feel sorry for Deirdre; and I think the scriptwriters are silly going round in a circle with a Ken and Wendy storyline again.

Looks like they do get together though

"The whole street turns against [Maria and Marcus]," she said. "They are happy initially, but long term, I am not so sure."

After Tracy's announcement, Ryan is shell-shocked and admits that he's scared to death at the thought of being a dad. Michelle tells Ryan that Tracy has done this to spite her and Steve and that he is too stupid to realise it. When Steve hears the news, he storms over to see Tracy, dropping the bombshell on Ken and Deirdre. They're stunned as Steve rails at Tracy. Is there nothing she won't do to get back at him? Alone, Steve begs Tracy to have a termination which he'll pay for but she refuses. Ryan goes to see Tracy who turns on the waterworks, telling Ryan that Steve and Michelle tried to pay for her to get rid of the baby. Ryan's appalled. Later in the pub Tracy makes sure everyone hears that she's going to be the mother of Michelle's grandchild. Before Michelle can launch herself at her, Ryan announces that he's standing by Tracy and they'll raise the baby together, whilst accusing Michelle of plotting behind his back to get rid of his child. Michelle denies all knowledge but Ryan doesn't believe her. Deirdre gives Tracy and Ryan her support. Steve tries to comfort a devastated Michelle but is in for a shock when she blames him for the whole ugly mess. As their future hangs in the balance, it looks like Tracy's wicked plan has finally paid off!
Kylie's grateful when Leanne takes Max out for the day and suggests to David that they make the most of their time alone. David just wants to chill but when Nick is run off his feet at the Bistro, Gail, David and Kylie are roped into helping with a road haulers' wives' lunch. Kylie's surprised by how much she enjoys herself.

Gloria is flighty when the Rovers' first B&B guest arrives. Things go well until Stella arrives back earlier than expected and orders Gloria to get rid of the guest.

It's the Autumn Fayre at Bessie Street and Ken takes Deirdre with him seeing as Wendy will be there. It soon becomes clear seeing Wendy and Ken together will be harder for Deirdre to cope with than she thought. Also, an anxious looking Audrey returns from her cruise without Lewis!

With Lewis still missing (having disappeared from the Eurostar on the way home) Audrey is persuaded by the police to go on local television in a plea to find Lewis. As the Street watch her pour her heart out, gossip about Lewis's dubious past and their turbulent relationship is rife. David, meanwhile, shares his doubts about the true nature of Lewis' disappearance to Nick. Nick warns him not to air these feelings when Audrey is in ear-shot. Later, however, he has a visit at the Bistro from a mysterious stranger, alerted by the recent press coverage, who claims to be able to shed some light on Lewis' whereabouts!

Ryan tells Michelle that regardless of her feelings on the subject, he's having a baby with Tracy and they're off to see a midwife to register the pregnancy. Later at the factory, Michelle is at her wits' end when she catches the factory girls gossiping about the complicated relationships between the Barlows and the McDonalds. Rob steps in to stop her blowing her top when Ryan and Tracy arrive. Tracy makes Ryan apologise for all the trouble they've caused. He then announces his plans to prevent any further acrimony occurring. And they're far from what Michelle would have wanted to hear.

Lloyd and Mandy have been getting on well despite not hearing from Jenna. While they're sharing a moment reflecting on the past, Jenna finally turns up having done some thinking. Will she agree to them all going out to dinner to talk things over?

Seeing how quiet the salon is, Nick asks Kylie if she'd like a job at the Bistro instead. David struggles to hide his annoyance. Mary gears up for a Russian theme night in honour of Emily's birthday. Gloria's B&B guest has a nice surprise for her.

Mysterious stranger Penny explains to Audrey that Lewis (or "Hugh" as he called himself to her) is a conman who she thought was her lover but ripped her off for thousands and did a runner. She spotted him on the Eurostar by chance and he fled. Audrey remains adamant that Lewis has changed and genuinely loves her. But later at Emily's birthday bash in the cafe, Audrey clocks Rita, Dennis and Norris questioning Gail. Sick of Norris' probing, Audrey finally admits she's been a fool again, it looks like Lewis has scarpered once more. But as an emotional Audrey leaves, she's unaware she's being watched from across the street.

Steve and Michelle's recent tiffs are forgotten when she tearfully tells him of Ryan and Tracy's plans to move to Glasgow. Steve decides matters are now well and truly out of hand and heads to No 1 with Michelle to discuss the situation like adults. Tracy claims that all she wants is to be happy with Ryan. Steve, to Michelle's horror, then says he thinks Ryan and Tracy should move into the flat with them. Will Michelle agree?

Lloyd and Mandy are growing closer but the chance of any romance is ruined when Mandy gets upset realising Jenna's not going to turn up for dinner.

Mary has another theme night success at the cafe at the expense of the Bistro. Gloria persuades Stella to go on holiday leaving her in charge of the Rovers.

After a sleepless night, Audrey's alone in the salon when Lewis suddenly appears. She demands to know where he's been. Lewis explains how he bumped into a woman on the Eurostar to whom he owes 10K so had no choice but to flee the train. He's shocked when Audrey reveals she knows all about Penny because she came looking for him. When it sinks in that she's here in Weatherfield, Lewis decides he has to run away and he asks Audrey to go with him. Audrey eventually agrees, handing the salon master keys for David to a puzzled Kylie and Nick. Agreeing she's been acting strangely the Platts head over to Audrey's house.

The morning after she and Ryan have moved into the flat, Tracy makes breakfast. Michelle holds her tongue as Tracy keeps calling her Granny but later explodes in front of Steve. Tracy catches the tail end of this and Steve sees how much she's relishing driving a wedge between him and Michelle. When he later catches Tracy showing little interest in Ryan's conversation skills, his suspicions are piqued. Watching on, Beth wonders what exactly Tracy sees in Ryan. Will Tracy admit that her relationship with Ryan is all part of a plan?

Lloyd tries to talk to Mandy about their near kiss but Mandy closes down the conversation and suggests it's time she moved out. Lloyd's gutted. Meeting up with Jenna, he listens to her explanation that a cosy dinner with Lloyd and her mum felt disloyal to her dad. Understanding, Lloyd suggests they all meet on neutral ground instead.

Mary's shattered but when Kylie makes disparaging remarks about Roy's Rolls, she's more determined than ever to outdo the Bistro and starts planning a Moroccan night.

Taking in the suitcases, a horrified Gail demands answers as Audrey confesses that she had been carried away with the idea of a fresh start with Lewis but realised it was nonsense and that running away wasn't the answer. As a row escalates, Penny arrives and clocking Lewis, turns tail to call the police until Audrey begs her to stay. Penny berates Lewis who takes what she has to say on the chin. Ignoring Gail telling her to wake up and smell the coffee, Audrey insists that Lewis is a changed man. Penny doesn't care. She's still out of pocket. Audrey's family are stunned as she writes Penny a cheque for £10k clearing Lewis' debts.

Now convinced that Tracy isn't really interested in Ryan, but is simply using him as a weapon to come between him and Michelle, Steve hatches a plan. When Michelle prepares a romantic meal for him, Steve turns round and tells her it's over between them. As a shocked Michelle is left reeling, how will Tracy react?

Mandy and Lloyd are relieved when Jenna meets them at the cafe where Jenna apologises for her behaviour. Having had the chance to talk, Mandy later rewards Lloyd for his part in it with a kiss.

Mary throws a successful Moroccan night at Roy's Rolls but Anna's tired out and says there are to be no more themed nights. Rita's hackles rise as Gloria lavishes Dennis with free drinks, convinced he's the mystery judge of the pub of the Year competition.
