I am betting it's Nick. That would create the most drama all around. Leanne/Eva/Stella would all have their say for different reasons. Possible pregnancy would be more complicated, with David and Nick as possible fathers.

Tommy is another possibility, but the only ones really upset would be Tina and David. Unless they want a total partner swap, I just don't see the point.

I hope this isn't going to turn into another tedious "Who is Kat sleeping with?"

The spoilers for the following week are all about Leanne trying to make a go of it with Nick so I doubt that. I don't think the wedding will go ahead at all.

My theory on the whole Leanne wedding stuff changes every five minutes!

This is my current theory:

Leanne goes to the flat to make her plea to Peter about wanting him back/still loving him, but Peter doesn't reciprocate. Eva walks in on the Peter/Leanne flat moment to tell Leanne to get a move on for the wedding and overhears everything and then lets fly at Leanne for leading Nick on and threatens to tell him. Leanne feels guilty and begs Eva to keep quiet because Peter's rejected her so she's choosing to stay with Nick. Eva agrees to keep quiet and they both get to the venue. However, Eva gets to Nick first and tells him what happened in the flat with Leanne/Peter, prompting Nick to call everything off.

It's very plausible except (for me) the bit about Peter not reciprocating. I think he wants nothing more than to get back with Leanne so they and Simon can play happy families again, (until the next time of course)

See I really want Peter to want Leanne back because I loved them together before it all went to hell but it's the way Jane Danson talks in the TT article that makes me think Peter may not reciprocate, because JD says....

Hmm, interesting, I hadn't seen that. So maybe Peter's got some dastardly plan to get Simon back, maybe by turning poor Leanne into a jibbering wreck. He's certainly been acting very strangely since he got back. We shall see.

She was leanne barlow once she married peter (the first time). I suppose she could, following the divorce, have gone back to her previous name.

Though appearing in the radio times as 'leanne platt' wouldn't really help you.

See I don't see where people are getting the impression that Peter wants Leanne back. He would've gone back to LA with Carla if Simon hadn't turned up at the airport. It's all about Simon, and getting one over on Nick because he hates him. I think Peter must reject Leanne because she wouldn't end up at the church otherwise.

Leanne could just as easily reject Peter and end up at the church still.

I don't think she would though considering she goes to see him "to get answers" or whatever, they're making it pretty clear that she still loves him.
