iTunes and album artwork
TV King
19-06-2011
I have a 2nd gen Ipod Touch 32GB.

When using iTunes on my Dell PC that is running Windows 7 I high light an album and then click on get album atwork ( something like that) and sometimes it finds the correct album artwork and sometimes it gets it wrong and other times it does not find any album artwork at all.

Please could someone tell me if you can manually add album artwork and how you go about doing this?

In 'Music' list view, highlight the track or tracks you want to change the artwork for and choose 'Get Info'.

In the 'Info' tab, ensure the Artist and Album fields are correct and correspond exactly to that of the album available in the iTunes store (have a look for it and make a note of it first) and that should ensure iTunes gets the correct artwork.

If iTunes cannot find the artwork (because it is not in the iTunes store most likely), then choose the 'Artwork' tab and choose a file you have available (I find Amazon are a good source for downloaded stuff, choose 'See larger image...' then right-click on it and save the image to your drive).
