Who is your favourite and who do you feel is the strongest candidate?
My favourite is Leon i think he is the dark horse of the competition, as he seems to do well each week.

My fave is Susan, followed by Natasha, Melody, Jim, Helen, Tom, Leon and then Zoe last.

In terms of potential- Susan, Melody, Helen, Jim, Leon, Tom, Zoe and finally Natasha.

I don't have a favourite. They all seem to bland and uncreative, which is surprising seen as Tom is an 'inventor' (i'm waiting to see what he has actually invented).

Helen is my favourite.

All the others, apart for Jim, seem nice enough and the jury's still out on him.

Leon seems a bit useless.

Favourite person: Nick.

Strongest candidate: Probably Helen, but she was so far under the radar in the first few weeks that I have no idea what she's been up to.

I think he invented sucking up; he's truly excellent at it.

A curved nail file. They mentioned in episode 1.

Not only is that not new - my mother had one in my youth - it's also extremely hard to use because you have to get a motion with the exact same curvature as the file. I hope he can come up with something better than that.

Tom, according to his website, also helped develop an acoustic barrier to protect classical musicians from gradual hearing loss (big big problem -- cochlear hair cells easily damaged and musicians often suffer loss on particular frequencies), and some kind of medical wotsit to detect bowel cancer. There are other things, none of them quite in the same area so I would say that he's more inventive than some are allowing.

I like Helen, Susan, Leon and Tom.
Like the majority, I would like Jim gone, but with a berating from Lord Sugar first
I do not like Zoe, if it weren't for Jim I think she'd be the villain this year.
Natasha doesnt register for me.
Have I forgotten anyone?

Well, the person i like the best is Susan
And the one I think will win is Helen
But I'd like to see Tom or Susan win.

I think my favourites are Leon, Tom and Helen, and I quite like Susan and Melody too. I don't like Jim or Natasha, and I'm not fussed about Zoe.

No, that's the point. He designed a curved file that doesn't cause discomfort.

"In 2004 when living in Alresford, Hampshire he applied for his Curved manicure or pedicure device. The document claims that previous attempts at curved nail files damage the nail or only permit one side of the file to be used. [...] As the amount of curvature varies, the user instinctively uses the most appropriate part of it for any part of the nail. Pellereau adds that it is aesthetically pleasing and easy to hold. A granted British patent exists for it."

It would be interesting to see how well it works.

Presumably better than the one I saw all those years ago.

My favourite is Susan, but I don't think she'll win.

I think Helen or Melody seem the most likely winners.

I will be against the grain and say that my favorite is Zoe.
For TV entertainment it would be Jim.
Soft spot for Tom too.

I think Susan has much to offer if she could only find her voice.

Jim was my front runner until he backed so far off his resposibility for failure he was almost in another room.

Tom seems bright but nondescript. LordSirAlan likes him though and sees potential.

Helen is capable and could go all the way.

My favourite is Tom - in spite of being a brown nose.

Think Helen will win. Interesting to see not much support for Jim here.

I like Helen, Zoe, Susan and Tom the most. I don't feel I know Melody. I'm not so keen on Jim, Natasha or Leon, but I don't feel strongly about it.

Who I like correlates with who I think is strong. I like competent people (especially strong, competent women).
