Leon definately deserved to go this week. He did absolutely nothing to contribute towards the task for his team. All he did was draw some pictures and it is no excuse using any such language barriers. Susan admitted she knew nothing about France but she didn't let that become a barrier. Melody had to take a lot of the blame for the failure of Tom's team as she was the one that wasn't keen on the bag idea, despite market research proving that the French public saw it as a good idea.

Let's be honest, no one in their right mind would think that more people in France or anywhere used the Metro than a car. Tom was the only one on the team that wanted the backpack but as team leader he showed absolutely no authority but just gave into the influence of his team.

His team were never going to win with their pathetic choices of some tea pot lamp and postcard. The backpack and moblile phone holder were always going to make more money. Got to admit, the boys on this series don't live up to much and I would put a lot on a female winning this series.

To be honest, there was a case for firing any of them - Leon because he did nothing, Tom for his weak leadership or Melody for her risible "market research" and her dishonesty about it. Sugar always reserves a special dislike for those who "take a back seat" though, so Leon was probably always the likely one to go.

I initially thought Melody was definitely the one for the chop but after Sugar sacked Leon I realised that it would have looked a bit odd to anyone who wasn't playing close attention to sack someone who was clearly working her socks off throughout the task.

Remember, most of the people viewing the programme are not as obsessive as we are and may well take a more superficial view of the proceedings.

I totally agree. All of the above has been mentioned in my post.

I dont agree that her intelligence is obvious. She has repeatedly misunderstood the tasks, she has been fortunate that this series has a lot of weak individuals, in previous years she would have been toasted.

I wouldn't put it quiet like that but have seen some pretty extreme reactions to the fairly tame comments made by Leon and Melody about boot sales and 'up north'
