I'm sure you mean any member of the DS forums, as apposed to you inparticular Dave?

The only reason I wish I was there, was to show these people who are supposed to be soooo intelligent, that a little common sense goes a long way.

They may be good at what they know and good on them for that, but when they are thrown into a new environment, its like they get lost.

These very intelligent people lack the basics to getting on in life, this programme prooves that.

On paper, I'm as thick as they come. My spelling is not 100%, Maths is ok, but takes a while, though I dont use a calculator. The only thing I passed at school is Geography.

However, using my head, together with common sense, I have got on nicely in life, have a nice house, nice car, no debt and some money in the bank.

OK, I'm not a millionaire, no where near it, but happy with my life so far. All of which has been accomplished by hard work and the right decisions where needed.

I'd have no interest with working in an Alan Sugar style environment, or many of the applicants that appear on the show. I would however love to have a go on the tasks, just to show these 'brainy' idiots how far common sense alone can take you.

After all, it was hard work & common sense that got Alan Sugar where he is today. Not collage & university education.

Times change, I respect that, and there is nothing wrong with gaining a good education. But dont forget the basics. Thats what really get you though.

Nah, you wouldn't be there long enough for it to be interesting.

LordSirAlan would find you out in the wink of an eye ... after you had told him his business model was crap compared to yours of course

I'm picturing a composite of Sophocles (the one on TA, not the Greek) and Baggs.

A whole field of good kosher boys.

I don't think Susan needs anyone else to verbally beat her down (which I guess would be one of your main aims, seeing as you're such a fan).

When has aussie_dave ever said anything intelligent - let alone 'intimidatingly intelligent'?

Oh, wait, you meant like the prospective candiate who tells everyone that they are stunningly good looking, intimidatingly intelligent, and a mega business brain.

Yup, that's dave.

No, just no. You don't contribute much to this forum apart from stupid remarks like
Quote:
“I didn't know Susan's mum posted on the forum.”

so what makes you think you would do any better on the actual show?
