The task went south for us because our PM disappeared. None of us had anything to do at all after about 3pm yesterday afternoon as we'd done what we'd been asked to do, but since our PM didn't show up at all, we really had nothing to do until about 3pm today when we realised we had to just get up and do it ourselves instead of waiting on Louise to give us jobs. It could have gone far better for us. I feel our pitch was a mess. That was split up between the four of us, but by the time it came to posting it, neither myself or Poth (who were the only two online) had either Louise's or Luke's. Our brochure as well had a lot more information ready for it. Louise divided that between myself and her, she wanted me to write up info on historical locations & kids activities which I did, but I didn't have any of Louise's half at all to use. In the end, we had to research accommodation really quickly & only use a fraction of what I had ready for it.

So you are saying you basically lost 24 hours in the task waiting for Louise? 3pm seems a bit late to realise you needed to get things done. I understand you were without direction, but waiting a whole day before doing anything seems maybe a little too late?

And Obviously if i was at Home today other than School then I probably would of got things done a bit better but obviously School is essential as I am sure you will understand.

I understand Lord Sugar but I unfortunately had to rush the poster towards the end as I was struggling with it I however gave it the best shot I had and I thought the image linked to Derby and I obviously made a fundamental error in the poster and I take the blame for that...

Basically Louise gave us a guidline on what we had to do.
Me 100 words Luke 150 words David 125 words and Her 125 words. In the end I had to fill in for Louise and write something up 10 mins before the Deadline. |

See, this is becoming familiar to me in the boardroom. Last week you admitted to delegating rather than doing as a mistake, and now this week with the poster, it seems like, although I respect people owning up to their mistakes, is it just going to be more mistakes?
I see, did you not think 10 minutes before the deadline is a bit late to leave things? |

Well, we were going under the assumption that Louise would actually turn up. If she had turned up at 3PM we'd still have finished everything in time as most of it was done. All we really had to do was the graphics and that shouldn't have taken anywhere near two hours.
On nother topic, you were all very divided last week, do you think you all did well with this week? No problems with Poth? |

Why did you let Louise become P.M. for this task if you knew she hasnt been as reliable in the last week or so ? Did it not occur to anyone to become back-up pm for her absences ?
A number 2 is always appointed in my experience ............ |

I would not say it's going to be all mistakes from me Lord Sugar, I'm very passionate about this process and I can ensure you there will definitely be no more mistakes from me if I was to still be here next week... I do feel I tried my best this week though and I put a lot more passion into my work then I did in the previous task.

Do you think the only person who should be fired here is Strictly_Irish? Because honestly that poster is a big part of why you lost... |

She said she was going to be online and we assumed she would, I think in the future something to look at would be a back up PM.
Were you all to scared to take on the responsibility of having to work hard and put in some more effort ........ |

I see, but sdometimes passion can't be enough you know.
Do you think the only person who should be fired here is Strictly_Irish? I wouldn't say any of the team deserved to be fired particularly we all did our best in this task and obviously it wasn't good enough because we are sat here now, but I do think that Strictly should be high up on the agenda of being fired tonight Lord Sugar. |

She did say to us that she was determined to prove herself after not contributing much in the first task &, iirc, actually said that she'd be around.
I gather from all of this that you all think louise should be fired ? |

I agree with you, passion can't be the only thing, but with the hard work I also put in I know I am eager to learn and care about this process and passion in my opinion is the key focus on being a good business worker Lord Sugar...

I see, but I can't quite believe none of you did something but waited for Louise. I know she;s your PM, but you're all capable of doing these things too, waiting so long really is what cost you because you guys really had a chance this round and you blew it.

Another question (and this could be for all of you) who do you think performed best in the task?

I Wouldn't say Tyjet was A Back Up really, I put myself up to PM This week but Unfortunately Louise said she was in uni in marketing and David seemed Keen on having her and I agreed with it too tbh.
anyway I do take your point, you thought you were in with a great shot of winning and had a good pm who knew there stuff and were let down ..... |
