Humax Fox freesat+
i have now got two tuners in the box, yet when i record it always pop itself to the programme that the box been set to do, now i do believe the second tuner is a lot weaker in quality condition, due to tree interfernce that cant be solved, but even so i thought with two tuners i would be able to record one and watch another channel while one is being recorded - now is this true? cos i do have a twin tuner freeview and know how that works - thought it be the same idea!
anyone can help me on this one thanks! RainboWelsh |

Any trees will affect both tuners. Sounds like you have the box in single cable mode.
Possible reasons you installed the box with 1 cable and added a second later. You have connected the 2nd tuner cable to tuner 1 out not tuner 2 in. The two cables should be on the outer connections Check the latter, correct if necessary. Do a factory reset and watch for the two cables found message. If you only have a single cable from the lnb fit a short cable from tuner 1 out to tuner 2 in. |

tuner one is a communal sat and tuner two is a stand lone sat (this one is with tree interference) - it was as one tuner in begining - but i retuned when i put in two, both in the in section i believe!
if i do a factory reset will i lose my recordings? |

if i do a factory reset will i lose my recordings? You can also check the box is in two cable mode by Go into Menu/Setup - Press Red/Green/Yellow/Blue/Green/Yellow/Blue in succession. Check Connection Type says Two Cables Same.. Changing this option will also do the same as a factory reset. |
