So - did you all think Louise should have gone?
batman.

I personally don't!

I'd say that she probably shouldn't have gone.

Definitely - she was eliminated because of an absence - and new teams!

So now we know our teams and our fired candidate, do we begin the discussion?

Hello Everyone

Yes!

Who in everybody's opinion - should have been fired.

In my opinion it would have to be Black Dagger - in that his pitch was gangly and awkward, and the poster didn't advertise Derby.

I thought the right person left...
batman.

Based on this task and the boardroom discussion, I'd have thought BD was a dead cert to be fired.

Who should have been fired? A very difficult question:
The right three were in the boardroom. That's pretty certain for me. But I don't think Louise should have gone. She has potential and has a perfectly good reason to be absence. That said, I don't think she should have been project manager, but for me it should have been Black Dagger of Poth. Both performed poorly once again, Black Dagger coming out with the (awful) poster, and Poth not answering the questions as well as possible and making a few slip ups. I don't think either will win, and I could well have fired both had I been in Lord Sugar's position.

I will be very interested to see how both of them perform next week.

LORD SUGAR

Firing Louise was a tough decision because I know she had other more important commitments then this task. But, ultimately, she was the PM and her team relied on her when she wasn't there. She didn't seem to lead the team by being absent and the fact it was the second task in a row made me question if she could be available as much as the others. It was mainly because she was absent as PM and with her skills she definitely was an important part of the team. I wish her all the best, but that's why I fired her.

What do we think of that?

I do understand why she fired, but I still think she should've been given a shot to be here. IMO, Luke has had two 'off' tasks in a row, out of two, which is just no good!!

Also - sorry Val! I didn't see this thread until just now.

Maybe soon you'll have a fired candidate who will be here to give an interview.
