I take your point about public speaking although I presume that in the course of creating and building her company she had to communicate and negotiate with people.

If you take a look at Melody's website you will see that she offers "skills development training" which is something that many companies offer for free. In fact she recently emailed my organisation offering herself and this service but, as stated we already get this for free or do it ourselves. I suspect that she has ended up volunteering her services, hence the award for volunteering. (and hoping to develop a career out of it, unfortunately there are a lot of people offering this kind of thing)
I find it ironic that she offers to develop skills that she seems not to possess herself (such as teamworking)
