The gadget grip
The gadget grip looked good I think they missed out there! on the designers website they have an ipad version to...not sure why they didn't pitch that seems to be the 'in' thing at the moment! the designer is Conka design and the actual thing is Breffo..I'm going to get the one on the apprentice for my phone though.

Reminds me of the Gorillapod for cameras and I think that's done very well.

![]() I thought it looked like them things you used to throw up the windows that used to slide down. Not a very good description on my part I know, but I can't think what they were called. |

I thought it looked cheap , crap and best suited to pund stores but i'm not too good on buying tasks as my tastes never match the average person's!

not far off what some of the shops are charging,,e.g cleverkit
I didn't get the child seat thingy really. Not sure if you watched the your'e fired show with Dara O'briain? Micky Flanagan was on there and said the same thing...worth a watch on iplayer if you haven't, he said if you have kids then you get it...and get excited about stuff that you should'nt, if you don't have kids then you just think...don't you just leave them in your car? Am I going to be ripped into for saying I liked the tea pot? was risky choosing it to sell on the show and wouldn't have been my choice but in about 2% of the population over here that decorate there house in a kitsch style it would look cool! |

The car seat would be wonderful for travelling. The kids can carry their on-plane toys etc through the airport in the backback and then use the seat on the plane. Also an easy way to get a seat into your hire car at the other end. Also useful any time a child might be staying with or travelling with someone who might not have a seat for him/her (e.g. Granny or a taxi). Car seats are not easy to carry normally and this would make it much easier. Going to Granny's on the train? Put the on-board toys and books in the backpack and then convert to a seat when Granny picks you up at the station.

I think the Booster seat was a Trunki thing. I've looked at them for our holidays. Rather than hiring a car seat that you have no idea who's used and whether it's been damaged or not I'd rather use one of these. I presume it meets all safety standards where as hire company ones may not. My little boy is very precious and also way too small to be in a car with just a seatbelt on. I suppose you'd have to have little ones to appreciate it. Otherwise you'd wonder why you need to carry a booster seat at all. I have a similar thing which is for restaurant chairs as often highchairs are disgusting and there's no way on earth I'd put my son in one. Anyway it was a good thing to pitch to La Redoute as it fits in with their products and much better than offering them 10 teapot lights.
