Also, Sugar seems to value the sort of qualities that would make for an ideal barrow boy - at least at the start of each series.
He fires team players who have not had a chance to shine in favour of retaining idiots who grab the lime-light one way or another.

I couldn't take that seriously with the chappie in Sugar's slot wearing a hamster on his head. It looked like a self-parody.
