Why doesn't Susan rate in Karen's "Woman in Business Group"

Karen has the ficticious group in her head that women have to be judged by although no such group is there for the male candidates.

It seems to be LS and Nick who defend Susan as Karen would have had her out the door long ago

I think Karren has a very specific (and narrow) idea of how women should behave and present themselves in the workplace, you know, like undermining your employees in the national press, that sort of thing, and Susan evidently dosen't fit into that mould.

Maybe Karen is trying to shock Susan into addressing some of her weaknesses because she thinks she has potential.

I don't think so. It's the spiteful look of triumph (to borrow my own phrase from another thread) with which she pulls out Susan's slightly garbled utterances (which actually didn't impact on the task) or gives Helen the credit for the win.

Karren has her knife into Susan. Don't know why, but I don't think it does her any credit.

Maybe Karren is having a little feud with Nick over Susan.

It's probably fair to say that Nick has been a bit biased in Susan's favour - though his comments in the Radio Times suggest that he later became less favourable to her.

For some reason Karren has it in for Susa & has done since the start.

I don`t like Karren, bring Margaret back.
