karen is a business woman and she always bangs about being professional. what she showed last night at the boardroom was anything but.

seriously not even slight credit for susan choosing the products or even selling them!

I didnt used to like her when she did the interview process.

However now I really do like her. She seems fair and professional.

Perhaps because she comes across as thin-skinned and a bit of a hypocrite, both in TA and in real life.

Susan is hard on the ear,
vicious Karren is hard on the eye.

She's fine.

She's not perfect, but why should she be judged to a higher standard than Sugar, Nick or any of the candidates?

Karen seems great to me, I think she can be a victim of the edit just as much as the candidates. She talks a lot of sense as far as I can tell.

The forum doesn't like her because she isn't Margaret.

Susan AND Zoe chose the products.

This. I'd say a lot of people just don't like her because she's there and Margaret isn't. Despite the fact that Margaret chose not to return and, afaik, never even wanted to do the show in the first place.

Sometimes I like her, sometimes I don't. Criticizing the hilarious Susan for such poor reasons does not help her get on my good side.

Karen is OK but pales into insignificance when compared to Margarets performances on The Apprentice.

She just lacks the presence.

I didn't think strong women in business like Zoe would end up crying their eyes out when they made a complete dic£ of themselves in the trash task. A strong woman in business would have taken it on the chin that she had messed up 2 pitches.

Zoe is just a woof. Susan is a bit cringe worth at times, but the only 2 people Zoe has picked on is Susan (only because she lacks confidence) and Glenn (who she was $hagging anyway).

I would love Jim, Melody or Edna to go into the boardroom with Zoe, that troll needs smacking down good and hard.

don't think anyone dislikes her, it's just Margaret and Nick were so hilarious in the first few seasons and always made the shows more entertaining whereas Karren lacks the wit and dare I say it fearsome presence of Margaret

I did like Karren - until this week.

I would expect her to pull up candidates for their flaws, but I don't think there was much need to bring up Susan's questions as they didn't affect the task. Certainly they didn't need to be raised with such a nasty look on her face.

And the way she said that the pitch at La Redoute (sorry if that's the wrong spelling) was down to Helen, in a manner that said "Susan deserves no credit", was really irritating. What, no credit to Susan and Zoe for selecting the product or to Susan for already having won the task for her team even without La Redoute?

I find her unecessarily bitchy and sour faced.

Margaret's put downs were far sharper as they came from a very intelligent woman. Karen doesn't have Margaret's experience or intelligence and is yet to put her USP to the role. I suspect she may not have one and all she can manage is poorly delivered bitching.

Obviously no one would be able to compete with Margaret’s withering glances and Karren herself will be aware of that disadvantage.

She all too often appears to position herself not outside but inside the whole process and to be in competition with the apprentices. It prevents rather than enhances any ability she might have at being observant to also allow those observations to be supported by remaining unflustered, cool and detached.

exactly. She hardly worked her way up. She was given a top job from the off ........ Im so glad West Ham went down, hope they regret ever taking it on.
