Today I sat an A-level with none other than Madonna's Like a Prayer stuck in my head.

During a job interview last year I had Miley Cyrus's "See You Again" followed by "Breaking Free" from High School Musical

In Year 9 our class had a detention because we made our art teacher cry and throughout the detention I had "Blue" by Eiffel 65 in my head

My GCSEs were in the summer of Rihanna's Umbrella.
I can safely say, that is possibly the worst song to have in your head through an exam, ever. Trying to write an answer with "ella, ella, ella, eh eh eh" on repeat in your head is so difficult!

I spent the whole of my Science GCSE Exam singing La Roux's Bulletproof to myself.

This is no word of a lie, in TWO of my A Level exams this year I had the following song stuck in my head:

"PIA-PIA-PIANO, PIANO, PIANO, PIA--PIA-PIANO, PIA-PIANO."

Just that one line. Over and over and over and over again.

I always have songs stuck in my head during an exam. During my Marketing Research exam last Christmas I had Oh No by Marina and the Diamonds stuck in my head and during various Economics ones I've had Saturdays songs stuck in my head (usually Up or Work ). Sometimes the song stuck in my head during an exam is one I listened to before the exam or one I associated with a particular lecturer or subject

Bad Day - Daniel Powter

Just generally a bad song to have in your head at any time - especially during a bad day.

I do the association thing sometimes in my History GCSE all I could hear was "Whole Lotta History" by Girls Aloud and in Year 11 our teacher was nicknamed Yoda for her height early into the year so throughout that entire year I had the Star Wars theme in my head

How many times that's happened to me, good God it's horrible isn't it!
Then you convert it into French, hoping it'll make some difference. It does, but nah, not fun at all

During my exam two weeks ago it was Notorious - The Saturdays. It wasn't even the whole song...just the 'I'm an outlaw....I'm the big boss....I'm the gangsturrrrrr' bit.

I remember i did my exams in the days when annoying songs became the summer norm.

My GCSEs were England-New Order (no problem) but mostly the J Barnes 'rap' (without the cr#p value of the Anfield rap one).

My mock A levels were dominated by Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters. Once heard, forever whizzing round my head without any way of getting it out, save doing serious injury to myself.

My A levels was Everything about you by Ugly Kid Joe and some trash by Ce Ce Peniston.

The worst was when i was working in an office in London in 96 and THAT song by babybird kept playing. I actually quit the country and moved overseas less than 2 months later for a few years. Now, thats what i call music.

One of the worst during exams, or finishing assignments, is The Lazy Song by Bruno Mars. I love the song, but its lyrics and chilled-out tune really did de-motivate me into not wanting to do anything all day. It wasn't so bad when I bought the album as soon as it came out, I could either not listen to it or skip that track, but when it came out as a single, everyone on the course I take at college was listening to the song and loving it, meaning it was practically impossible for me to avoid hearing it.

LAWL!

As for me? Oh, there was this small pastille blue amphibian who had quite a bit of success circa. my GCSE's way back when, with a rather infectious and equally as infuriating song that heavily sampled 'Axel F'. You know the one?

WORST SONG EVER.

'Agadoo'

Trust me, really hard to do algebra in a maths exam while you're singing, "agadoo doo doo, push pineapple shake the tree!" in your head.

The night before an exam a couple of weeks ago I decided to listen to some comedy songs with a friend, and the day of the exam, just before, he sang 'do do do come on and do the conga', and it was stuck for the entire exam

I got him back, I sang 'Bat Out of Hell' one of the songs he finds the catchiest. Mwahahahaha
