I have a feeling she will as she impressed Sugar yesterday. I also thinks she will take no shit from the interviewers either.

I have a feeling he will move away from the safe admin type winners he usually picks

The interviewers will tear apart her CV. On paper she appears to be too good to be true

Melody's getting the Joanna/ Debra edit of the agressive female who Sugar respects but ultimately rejects in the end, she'll definately make the interview though.

I'm predicting a Helen/ Susie final at the moment, with Melody, Tom and Jim at the interview stage.

I don't think she should win and I don't think she will. But I wouldn't mind seeing Melody finish runner-up to Helen.

It will be interesting to see just how embelished Melody's CV actually is. I suspect the name-dropping is all exaggerated nonsense, but I get the feeling she is quite an accomplished businesswoman.

I love Melody so I'd quite like to see her winning

No way, she'll get her comeuppance just like all the other bastards/bitches in the past that have made it to the interviews

That's the way it always appears but people keep forgetting he is not looking for an apprentice

I think she''ll be gone next week.

What she did yesterday, I think cost the team the win.

Tom was great chatting to the designer man, and Melody decided she didn't like it, so basically made up the market research, noone liked the teapot but she made out that they did. And the "everyone rides the metro" weren't they in a metro station?

She got lucky this week, I don't think it'll happen again.

That's how I saw it as well.

I also think that although SurLordAlun likes her aggressive sales drive I can't see him investing £250k in her business. It was telling when he asked "what do you do". He doesn't need to go into the consultancy business which is why I believe he[ll probably go for Tom or possibly even Susan! Also, when I think back to other strong "sales people" although they were great in the programme they didn't get the job, and he normally goes for the quieter candidates. Controversial opinion I know but, what's there to invest in Melody, yes she can "blag" but, where's her imagination to invent a "good" product? I really think that this series is a hybrid of Dragons Den and TA and for that reason I can't see how Melody can win.

I think it'll be Susan or Helen, I'm siding toward Helen because despite the fact she's won 8 tasks, there's not really been a big deal of it, nor her big sale. Usually a run like hers or a sale like hers would have the fanfare of "ooh biggest sale ever" etc but it was barely mentioned, she's making her way to the final, slowly but surely, as a sort of dark horse on the show, despite the fact she's clearly not a dark horse, just has a more subtle edit.

The in your face characters like Melody tend to be gone earlier, with all of their limited talents fully emphasised before leaving.

I'm quite interested to hear what Helen's business idea is.

Personally I think (and I'm more than willing to entertain the notion that this is a ridiculous idea) that she's come on the show on the back of seeing how successful Stella was last year. They both seem quite similar, very professional and able - and both held quite similar roles in the company they worked at before coming on the show.

I think that when it comes to the final decision someone like Melody, Tom or Susan - who have set up businesses - will be more appealing to LS.

Having said that I wouldn't be surprised if she had a very good business plan, I'm working with the edit. She is very bright.

That would have been difficult since this series was filmed before and during the last series aired.

I think Shuggs is setting her up for a fall. No way will he want to work with someone who is so greedy and economical with the truth.

Claude will tear her a new one in the interviews and Margaret will give her an icy stare and raise a quizzical eybrow as Melody tries to cover her ass.

Her ridiculous CV will be exposed for the pack of stupidity it is.

Fair enough, didn't know that - ah well, it was a nice theory

Melody did the worst thing you can do with Market Research, she'd decided on the answer she wanted before doing it and interpreted the answers to get what she wanted. It cost her team the task.

Must admit, she has done good. I think she was meant to be the "Asian girl" this time even though she is Middle Eastern. The "Asian girl" in each series has just been plain thick, (think Sara and the scary one with the huge eyes from last year) but this one is a monster. Also if Susan is meant to be the "Asian girl", she has done good too even though she is a bit dumb at times.

He was taking the mickey when he read out her "awards"

She strikes me as someone who will have "padded" her c.v. If she gets to the finals I think that we will find out that she isn't as wonderful as she thinks she is.

Careful now - Melody is a close personal friend of the Dalai Lama and Bishop Tutu - and you don't want to be on the wrong side of that pair, trust me.

I'd like to know more about these accomplishments - I could claim to have been entertained by Shirley Bassey in my own home just be tuning into an old Two Ronnies from 1985 on UK Gold, I suspect her 'tuition' and meetings with the great and the good may not have been exactly one-to-one.

She is very cloak and dagger...she was all too happy to sit pretty in the previous tasks, then boom she behaves like that...

I thought her attitude on the Paris task was outrageous and completely unnecessary...overpowering the PM, hogging all the sales (and she did, no matter which way you slice it), and pushing her own personal favourite products to the point where she was manipulating the truth to an obscene degree...

Who the hell goes to a metro station, asks 4 people if they drive in mediocre French (of course they don't...) and then calls that market research...she knew what products she wanted from the start, and was determined to get them regardless of anyone else's opinions let alone the PM's...

She will make progress with that attitude, but it won't win it for her...As far as I can see, there is nothing of value worth investing in an overly aggressive liar, who has clearly embellished her résumé to look more desirable...

I think Lord Sugar can see this too, he was clearly mocking her 'awards' (though she was far too egotistical to see this), and she was lapping up the attention...LS can clearly see right through her, and while I think he admired her for taking control in a situation where there was no apparent authority, he knows that there is no longterm future in her as a business partner...note how his face sank when she said she was working in consultancy...he doesn't want to invest in that, which is why people like Susan and Tom are still in the competition, despite their very obvious flaws...if this series was following the old format, I'm almost certain that those two would have been fired a long time ago...

I think this is one of the main reasons he won't pick Melody - he will have to work with her more closely than he has with anyone in the past (if we are to believe what he says). I really can't imagine that he likes her or is taken in by her.

I think Tom will win - but it's so difficult to call because at the end of the day, AS has to go with a business plan that is a real goer, and we are not privee to that info.

Melody's ruthless streak can be honed and polished. I cannot see Sugar tearing her apart (unless her cv is all lies) as she is undoubtedly one of the most intelligent and able candidates.

I see the girls are out-performing the guys again this series

No argument there.

If I was a 'conspiracy theorist' type of person I'd suspect that someone in the production company is picking weaker men to make women, generally, look good.

Very Lucky...she lost it, for them, Big Time.....but it seems Sugar, likes her Ways.

You're joking aren't you, the interviewers will rip her to shreds, especially Margaret
