Homechoice Bad Weather warning
Homechoice keeps issuing warnings like this one: Quote:
Due to adverse weather conditions in the London area, customers may be experiencing a temporary loss to some of their broadcast channels.
What is that? Wet leaves on phone wires? Is HC receiving its feed via terrestrial arials, or via satellite even? Any clues? |

Via satellite i imagine they get theyre channels from.
BT had some 'Network Issues' yesterday which resulted in the loss of adsl in some bits of the UK, that would affect Home Choice i expect. |

Homechoice Forum?
Just out of interest, There seems to be a lot more conversations about Homechoice now that they've relaunched - and not just in the 'Cable' area but I've also seen them crop up in the Terrestrial, Satelite and Programmes areas.
Is there enough interest in the service now to ask the moderators for it's own Homechoice forum in the Cable area? I don't have it yet - because it's not available in my part of SE London but I am keeping an eye on developments and plan of getting it when it is - so it'll be nice if I could just drop into 1 place and see all the discussions about it rather than browsing all the forums and hoping to stumble across the topic.... |

(As an aside, I also saw the weather warning yesterday - though I didn't notice any disruption to programmes at all) |
