And oddly enough Michael Dickinsons stables here in Yorkshire 'Poplar house' is only about 6 miles from my home
I used to go there quite often
he was a great trainer but his tips were hopeless, and ever ever gave away any good tips, having said that he told my brother that 'Grittar' would would win the Grand National if he stood up.. but that was not a lot of good to me hearing that after the event
(he told my brother on the morning of the race) Grrrr
