I'm going to see the Glee show this wed at the 02. Anyone have any experiences or info on the show such as support act, length of the show, starting times & end times, cast not attending. I'm seated in block 112 row E which I'm hoping will have a good view.

Hi! I went last night and it was brilliant! The doors open 6:30pm, the support act came on at 8pm (they are a dance group called the LXD), and Glee started about 9pm. The show ended at 10:20pm.

You will have a great time! The only problem was the attendants stopping people taking photos/videos - but only a problem if your on the end of the aisle (like I was)! You will have a brilliant view from Block 112 row E - right close to the stage!

Because of the integrated cameras in phones I didn't think the stewards could stop people taking pics - also I went to see Taylor Swift at the 02 and so many people were taking pics and videos and no-one stopped them. Did they have any merchandise to buy such as show programmes and t-shirts?

I've been to a lot of concerts at the O2 and never before seen them stopping recording/photos....but they had big message on the screens saying no recording allowed and the stewards kept telling us there's no flash photography allowed! It is almost impossible for them to stop though. I still managed to get some good pics, but it was annoying having the steward stare at me everytime I put my camera up!! They were stopping people with iPhones etc too, not just normal cameras.

There was loads of merchandise for sale! I bought the programme (£15), but there were also lots of t-shirts, hoodies, foam fingers, bags etc too.

They shouldn't of done that! The days when people couldn't take photos are long gone (hell I am old!) They will have a hard time stopping me tonight and we are planning on getting reseated to lower lever due to my friend's back problems which has left her struggling to walk!

Unless there is announcement at the beginning of the show, then the stewards cannot stop you! Simple as! Do they really think people are going to listen to them when all they want is photos of an event they went to?

At a sold-out concert, you'll be lucky... have sympathy for your friend, but don't expect that you'll get a better seat. And no, the days of not taking photos are not long gone, just people are cleverer at evading stewards. But clearly the o2 stewards are doing a thorough job, which they're entitled to do.

They can and will stop you, they've got every right to say 'no photos'. And clearly as there was an announcement saying no recording, it's perfectly reasonable for the stewards to stop photography too as so many cameras have video function. It is annoying, but they're not doing anything wrong by stopping you.

Was anyone else just a little disappointed with the length of the show? It's the shortest concert I've ever been to, only on for about 1 hour 15 minutes, which is 45 minutes less than Take That that I went to last week. It's not like the tickets were cheap either!! On the flip side, I really enjoyed it, even from way up in the 2nd to last row on the top tier, Mercedes and Kurt for me stole the show. Was also very impressed with The LXD, what a great job they did as warm up!

Well I am looking forward to the show wed night but I think I'll skip the support as not really interested in them - I'm gonna watch Transformers at the Cineworld 02 in the afternoon and then go straight into the arena. Will prob get into the arena about 8:15pm which should be just right if Glee starts at 9pm.

There was an announcement though...on the big screens as you went in the arena it says in big writing that recording and filming is prohibited. I think the stewards were trying to stop filming rather than photography, but I think it was hard for them to tell who was filming rather than taking photos! I probably just was in an unlucky position with the most strict stewards around lol! I was seated on the floor in block A3 - not sure how strict they were on the tiered blocks.

I was at the matinee today with my wife at the O2, it was brilliant! Was in block 101, 3 rows back, great view of the stage (got a barf bag off the cheerleaders at the start) They done all the songs that I was hoping they would do besides Gold Digger. My favourite was Britney doing Britney

Long day for me though, was up at 3:30 to get the plane to Gatwick, then got a train & boat to the O2 & back again, that's me just home

Didn't realise how big the O2 actually was! Was my first time there. Wouldn't want to be sitting away up in the heavens! lol

I was watching Don't Stop Believing and Somebody To Love last night. I wish I'd been able to go now. Glad to see that they are so great live despite the horrible performance they did on the X-Factor last year. Thankfully it looks like on the tour that the cast looked really into what they were doing and happy to crowd please, and all sounded amazing.

I'm surprised the show is so short though. As someone else said, it's not like the tickets are cheap (the main reason I didn't get one).

I've been sat right at the top in the back row! didn't know that when I bought the tickets (a friend bought them). Not a nice experience, especially as I had someone next to me who kept getting up to go and get drinks.

The amount of Iphones I saw lit up last night recording was unreal! And many of them in the front blocks! And I didn't see on steward approach any of them, even those in the front row!

Anyway I took nearly 200 photos and 4 videos, but I was on level 4 so no way would a steward moan at me! LOL!

I still believe the days are long gone when you could not take photos, but I still remember when cameras would confiscated during bag checks. Due to advances in technology, it is hard to stop it now, so instead they have banned professional photography unless permission is granted. Otherwise digital cameras and camera phones can be used!

Went to see Glee last night, was an amazing show. Loved all the songs! Have to agree that Kurt and Mercedes were my favourites as well. Loved Kurt's Single Ladies routine The show went by so quickly, not a bad song in the show for me!

I went last night too with the bf and a couple of mates. Was an entertaining night. They are really good singers live. Especially Mercedes. I took loads of pictures but didn't film as I was on the end of an aisle and security were walking around constantly and checking for people filming. One girl was caught but she carried on when the guy left. We were block 112, near the stage

Reading this thread is making me sad. I really wish I could have gone now. I hope they'll come back again one day; I'll make an effort to save up if they do.

I went last night! My seats were in block 422, so they were really high up, but in line with the stage, so the view was really good. There was no security at all down our end, so I got lots of photos. They checked my camera on the way in, but like others have said, it was mainly filming they were strict about. Great show!

You're much braver than me. I don't have a fear of heights in general but I could never sit in the o2's "death seats!"

Glad you had a good time.

Seems that despite security's efforts plenty of people managed to take some great videos. I've been watching on Youtube. The Kurt/Blaine skit is my favourite...too adorable for words. I love the "'Allo London!" bit.

Has anyone had tickets for the fan package? I have just managed to get hold of two free tickets to the show on Thursday thanks to Sky rewards.

Well there's a 3D movie of it being released later this year so i imagine they want people to watch that, but if they can get good quality videos on youtube why would someone pay for a DVD or a cinema ticket?

Not to mention the vocals are live so the overproduced comment is ridiculous.

Are the vocals actually live then?

I was going to attend this tour but heard a lot of people saying that they were miming anyway so decided against it.
