I can't imagine too many people liking the Phirley sex besides one or two people. Everyone else was like ewwwww throughout all their scenes and after ALL the vile sex scenes we had to endure with them for the last few months EE OWED us that Kalfie scene. In fact they owe us much more, so if anyone from EE is lurking you know what to do MORE KALFIE SEX SCENES!!!!

I knew we wouldn't get to see Kat's reaction to the punch last night but we all know that she loved it judging by tonight's scene. Manly Alfie is a knicker dropper hahaha.

I didn't mean that about Carol saying what she did because of Eddie but he has given more life to her character and made her slightly more interesting. Carol said what she did because she is a mother and a grandmother and has lost a child and there is no way she would have done what she did after Billy died. Yes Ronnie has had a hard life but so have other people and they don't go out stealing babies. Ronnie watched Kat go through hell and she knew she could instantly put a stop to it. I'll never forget Kat going round to Ronnie and Jacks just after the baby died for Tommy's toy and Ronnie treated Kat as if she had a disease and was just awful to her and then Kat collapsed in tears outside I really cannot wait until Ronnie's gone and I used to like her as well.

Yeah Carol was speaking as a mother and she knows as well what Ronnie went through because she lost her own son and yet still she couldn't make excuses for what Ronnie did.........because there are no excuses good enough to condone what she did. Saying she had a hard life or is mentally unstable(yeah right!) doesn't wash with me, I'm sorry but she did a despicable act and it got more and more horrible as the weeks went on. I can't wait to see the back of her, she's ruined beyond repair for me. Every time she comes on screen I just have the urge to smack her that's how much she grates on me

Well first of all I'm actually enjoying Michael playing games with her, its about time she got a bit of comeuppance. I hope his mental torture of her is half the mental torture, agony and suffering that she put Kat and Alfie through!!! I only wish Michael had done this to her earlier, now we've only got a few days of it, shame really but I won't be disappointed when old sour face is gone

Secondly, Ronnie's kissed Jack enough times to know what kissing frogs is like so Michael's probably an improvement looks wise.

I wouldn't mind Michael kissing me to be honest I love him lately, he's my fave current character along with Janine . Even Max is no longer a fave, they've taken his character back three years shoving him with Tanya AGAIN :sleep:

I'm liking the games he's playing with her but not with the way he's involving both Kat and Alfie in them which only gets worse this week. And to be honest his torture is nothing to what that woman put Kat through for months on end knowing she could put a stop to it at any given moment. Yet Jack has forgotten all of this and acting as if Ronnie did nothing wrong - what she did was just cruel, sick and twisted. Yes Ronnie lost a baby but she had no reason to inflict that same kind of pain on someone who classed her as a friend. Also she won't just be down for stealing the baby but there is also kidnapping abduction and fraud against her so how Jack thought he could get her off with a couple of nice statements and an expensive QC I don't know but this EE la la land

Also Ronnie did sleep with a lot of blokes just to try and get pregnant and broke up a marriage which was all before the swap But I wouldn't wish Michael trying to snog them on anyone he's vile and reminds me of a vampire with the mind games he plays and then there's the way he crawled on her bed that gave me the creeps. But yes I agree Ronnie has kissed worse than him before, but then again didn't he kiss her on Tanya's Hen night

I've decided once and for all, I just can't connect 00/05 Kat with 10/11 Kat, I just can't see them as the same character at all. 00/05 Kat is OF COURSE my ultimate fave EE character ever, I haven't really got a clue who this new Kat is and I still don't know if I like her. Okay so we've had maybe 5 ot 6 great Kat eps where I've thought YES this is my character, this is Kat Slater but when I look at 10/11 collectively I just can't see the character as the same tart with a heart who was fiercley loyal to her family and adored Alfie. Considering they've been back almost a whole year now I think it's safe to say 5 or 6 great Kat episodes is just not enough! I don't care who says people change and characters move on, no. It's a soap not real life and this "characters move on and develop" only seems to be brought up as an excuse when characters have been buggered up. Look at the likes of Dirty Den, Peggy, Dot, Pat, Frank, Sharon, some of EE's hugest icons and they remained exactly the same character from day 1 to now/their exit. Yes they faced alot of trauma and some of them became more depressed/laughed less/spend more time crying but fundementally they remained the same people with the same traits and kept the same mannerisms and personalities. That's not what's happened with Kat, she hasn't remained the same person just a little more grown up and closed off due to negative experiences, she's had a complete personality transplant and we're talking before Tommy even "died". Not only was she colder to those closest to her (Charlie/Mo/Alfie) but she actually had a nasty edge to everyone she came into contact with, let alone Alfie who she supposedly adores yet treated like a piece of shite. That's before we even get onto her mannerisms in general, everything about her was/is different, the way she talks to people, the sparkle in her eye, the giggle and the fact Kat of old did genuinely care about people around her by 02+ this Kat is selfish, rude and fairly wrapped up in herself, snapping at everyone around her whenever she feels like it. Old Kat was greatful and thankful she was alive and over the trauma and had Zoe and Alfie, this Kat came back as Alfie's biggest hater and didn't mention anyone else full stop.

I wish I could just say "well maybe when Ronnie goes.." but I'm not going to because that's what we've been saying for 10 months now. "Maybe when she settles down" "maybe when Michael leaves" "maybe when they get back in the Vic" "maybe when she finds out about Stacey/Archie" "maybe when the baby's born" "maybe when the funeral happens" "maybe when she get's tommy back" "maybe when Ronnie goes away". It's insane how wrong they've got her. Sorry to rant but I had to get it off my chest I know some of you "like" Kat at the minute, and that's fine, she's not particularly horrible right now or very dislikeable BUT once you look back at youtube clips the differences between the two characters are so blatently obvious. I don't blame Jessie as she's still an amazing actress, as we've seen from her acting throughout the swap but I do think she's lost something when it comes to playing Kat, the sparkle, she just doesn't seemed to have slipped back into the role easily or maybe it's because she was so fresh first time round and learning about her character as she went and making her into what she wanted whereas now the characters history is written and in the past and there's no time spent on character development it's all just plot driven shiz.

I have children and I never did that is disgusting. Children absorb so much information then us adults do. There is no way I would have sex in the same room as my child. Imagine if you turn your head (as we all move about alot when we have sex) and you see your baby looking at you! Seriously! Or they gurgle happily I reckon my hubby would never be able to perform again after that. That is just a no go. So I think its pretty gross but no more gross then Stacey and Ryan doing exactly the same thing. Actually the majority of my friends do not do it either, you go into another room and have your intercom for the emergencies.
