If it wasn't for Nana then Kalfie would probs had never got together as she was always the one to bang there heads together! and she was Hilare that ep when she walked in on Kat and Alfie in bed and just stood there for ages 'would you like me to read your horoscopes' hahahahaha x x x
That was brilliant and it has always made me wonder what Shane and Jessie were actually doing under that duvet

We need more scenes like this with the family and more cute scenes between Kat and Alfie

aww, Nana Moon...I really do miss her <3

I thought Jessie & Sam were amazing in the episode. Both performances were beautifully done, I thought. They definitely had me in tears.

Having said that, I did feel a bit disappointed when the episode came to an end. I guess it just felt a bit anticlimactic. Going into it I thought, with Kat set to forgive Ronnie, that they would show her change of heart differently. I assumed that something would happen before they went to court that would convince her to forgive Ronnie and then she'd change her victim's statement to reflect her forgiveness. I was a bit disappointed that instead, they AGAIN couldn't resist pushing Kat's anger onto the audience with that really brutal (and heartbreaking) statement, reminding everyone of how cold she's been throughout the storyline, before they let the audience see her soften up...and when they did finally get to see that from her, it was at the very last second when Ronnie's fate had already been decided. I think EE really missed a great opportunity to win back some audience good will for Kat when they didn't let the victim's statement reflect her forgiveness, which could have been done beautifully...especially had it been read by Kat, which is also what I was expecting.

I caught the last 5 minutes whilst I was collecting glasses Kats little speech at the end was cringe but can't wait for the playground scenes. Apparantly they're immense

MATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm fooking GUTTED. Pat's been in EE TWENTY FIVE FOOKING YEARS she can't leave Heartbroken. I loved Pat waaaaaaaaay more than Peggy, for me Pat is EE. What a dreadful night. And I'm sorry but I don't think that its a coincidence that Kirkwood is in charge now that Pat has had enough. He's awful. I expect June Brown to leave next

That was Kat! Throughout that episode we saw the old Kat, the proper Kat. And at the end, with Kat seeing everything Ronnie had been through EVEN THOUGH Kat had been the same. That is the fair, firm yet caring Kat the nation fell in love with.
PS. I loved the Uncle Harry ref. He was a sick so and so, but that was great continuity.

Samdog, read twitter. Seriously it shows WTF is wrong with the writing in EE when 90% are like "poor Ronnie" and Kat's a "bitch." Honest to god I really don't get why people would side with the person who KIDNAPPED the child over the mother of that child, only because the writing has portrayed Kat is such a dreadful manner these last few weeks. Even Kat forgiving Ronnie in the end, which I HATED and didn't believe for one second, I thought it was forced but yet it didn't really redeem her in many of the viewers eyes. EE needs to bloody fix Kat ASAP, she was the victim and yet people struggled to sympathise with her

The playground scene was FANTASTIC though, the slap was GREAT!!! Kalfie holding hands in court was cute too as is the preview of tomorrow night's epi, it looks just too cute them coming in for chips together <3 the scene is more focused on Ian and Janine but Kalfie coming in together is just adorable <3

Kat saying how she was "damaged goods" was a brilliant old Kat reference and should she be locked up too? I think that was when Kat started to come around to Ronnie's point of view(even though I didn't want her to.) I'm shocked that neither Roxy nor Kat slapped Michael when they realised what he was up to I would have punched him in the chops! The uncle Harry reference was great too. I have to admit I did love the writing in the playground from Kat's point of view but I did find a lot of the writing and scenes so contrived. Like why didn't Ronnie just show Kat the text message from Roxy's phone from the start? And Kat left Michael take Tommy after just finding out he'd lied about the Vic break in? TOTAL BULLSHIT!!!!

Omg I'm never drinking again Someone kill me and put me out of the misery I'm in.

I still can't believe Pat is leaving Eastenders, I'm honestly gutted she is. For me Pat is much more of an EE legend than Peggy or Pauline and she wasn't an annoying misery guts like they were too

I thought Jessie was fantastic in the playground scene It just goes to show how brilliant she can be when she's actually given some half decent stuff to say and not just sat around with the baby I agree with Belles there were so many missed opportunities. A pretty weak episode all round minus the playground scene. But hey ho ding dong the witch is dead

Been there dude!

I know, quite sad news. Pat Butcher is trending on twitter atm which is probably quite a nice send off. Pat and her earrings are total eastenders legends.

So watching last night me and my brothers girlfriend didn't know it was on for an hour and were sat there discussing the fact it seemed really long for a half hour show. Ah slow bus again.

But anyway. I liked it, I thought some of the writing was a bit silly. Like the locket in the pram the ep before, I don't think people would straight away assume that that meant Ronnie had been in the vic near Tommy. And Michael tricking Ronnie to the park was a bit silly but then again I really liked that scene. I think just the idea was weird, bit of a cop out way to cause some drama.
Jessie and Sam were both so good though. Like I loved all that they said to each other; that they were similar. I need to watch it again as I missed pieces and was straightening peoples hair. I liked Kat saying she was damaged goods and it was quite sweet when she said she forgave Ronnie.

I thought Jessie was brilliant in the playground scene too, she was spot on <3 Yep it does show that with the baby on her arm ALL THE TIME and out of the Vic given something to do and say that's not a bad script she can do wonders with it. I didn't like the episode either to be honest and I found it really drawn out too I think they could have filmed it in the half hour There was too much of Ronnie wailing and shouting as usual it done my head in. I'm just glad the storyline is OVER finally and she's gone and I hope never to return Roll on happy Kat <3

Now would be a perfect time to do that Janine/Kat frenemy story. As Janine will be left alone without Pat and Ricky around her to show her human side to and Kat needs better interaction with others and her with Janine has always been a favourite, so bring it on!

Quoted for truth!!!! I'd love for that to happen and like you said it is the perfect opportunity because when they leave Janine will have no family left(well she'll have Bianca's kids but she needs someone to look out for her.) Kat/Janine being frenemies has the potential to rival Peggy/Pat's if done right it could be epic. I say do it and fast! Looking forward to a bit of interaction between them tonight, lets hope the banter is on fire between them
