My fave Nana Track is Do Not Disturb, followed closely by Trick Of The Night. I can't really explain what I mean but they just sound more 'mature' musically than the rest of their output.
From their earlier era, my favourite is Na Na Na etc. From their SAW era, it's a tie between I Want You Back and I Heard A Rumour - two of SAW's best songs IMO, sounding much less 'identikit' than the other stuff they were producing at the time, even if they do suffer the standard SAW problem of not knowing how to fill the 'middle bit' properly. |

Always liked 'The Rams' i still have my 7" copy of It Ain't What You Do (It's The Way That You Do It).
Bananarama made some really great pop tunes over the years Robert De Niro's Waiting, Shy Boy, Venus, I Want You Back, I Can't Help It, Cruel Summer, Love In The First Degree and my fav I Heard A Rumour. The last 2 are some of SAW best ever songs. I just wish they would tour more and i don't mean those not good 80's tours. |

Always loved The 'Rams.
It makes me smile how they went from attitude-y, ladette's to pop-disco diva's. I Can't Help It is my favourite, it's obviously SAW but sounds a bit different. |

I liked Bananarama, and Siobhan best. I was sufficiently into Bananarama in 1983 to notice they all had birthdays on Saturdays that year!
Their singles I liked best included Shy Boy, Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye, Cruel Summer, Rough Justice and A Trick of the Night. Also songs Boy Trouble, and Dr Love which was written by Paul Weller and the B side to Tracie's The House that Jack Built. From their SAW era I liked I Want You Back best. Their often ignored debut single was Aie A Mwana, which was Swahili but I don' know what it means in English! |

I think Bananarama were great. I say were only because I loved the Siobhan/Keren/Sara trio. They have so many brilliant songs, a lot of which are really good summer songs. Hard to say what my favourite is; I love Cruel Summer and Cheers Then, but there's so many others I like such as I Heard A Rumour (love doing that dance
), State I'm In, Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye). Siobhan was my favourite, and I'm glad she was because it's because of her I got into Shakespears Sister.A few years ago at school for a dress up day, I dressed up in the style of the Na Na Hey Hey video with a boombox bag that plays music, blasting out their songs as I skipped to classes
