Next time, the candidates... (moan about spoilers)

Are we the only household who hates the way that the task for the next episode is given away at the end of the preceding episodes of both TA and YF?

We like the (minor, I know) surprise of finding out what the task is at the beginning of each episode and so have to rush to change channels at the end of both TA and YF.

People who weatch TA are generally going to watch it anyway, so what's the point of the spoiler? I suspect I'm in a minority on DS forums in this, but am I completely alone?

(By the same token, I prefer to know what my Christmas present is on 25th December, not in October...)

Well, the casual viewer needs a reason to watch the next episode

Not a big issue for me
It doesn't really give anything major away - so why not?

(and as someone who has sat there on Christmas morning opening a load of crappy presents I didn't like/ want/ need - I prefer to know in advance what people are thinking of getting me so i can ensure that my experience on the big day is of pleasure - not disappointment.)

Plus you can easily switch channels or skip over the previews. It's not as if you don't know exactly when they're coming.

I like it, it makes me look forward to the next week more as I have a little taster of what's to come .... you can always turn over if you don't want to watch that bit ....

But you know when the preview is - just change the channel or look away and mute it.

It's not as if they just pop a random preview into the Boardroom scenes or during a task...

I know what you're saying, UnrealityTV. Personally, I can kind of see the point of the trailers for the next show, but I never watch them myself. As soon as they get flagged up- bang!- change channels

In a similar way, I don't read reviews for a film I want to see, nor do I read the blurb on the back of books. They give too much away!

You know when the guy says 'Next time...' hit the off button.
