Now in fairness to her, she's got a pretty thankless job in following Margaret, but as she lacks Margaret's icy wit or Nick's eye's to the heavens looks of disbelief, it seems her lack of personality is really beginning to count against her. She's also taking things a bit personally too. People she doesn't like, she simply doesn't like and nothing will change that. Going against what the show's about surely?

I think one point is that personally she doesn't like two-faced women giving business-women a bad rep.

I think the biggest problem many people have with her on DS is that she's not Margaret.

I think she's brilliant personally. She's her own person & that's how it should be.

She should be replaced by a previous candidate. First choice would be Ruth Badger.

She even talks across her employer now, presumably thinking she is smarter than a guy who turned £100 into £700 million. By all means shout when in a crisis, but talking fortissimo all the time will cause the audience to go off her. Less is more.

I think she's OK.

She could maybe tone down the put downs a little.

Margaret got away with it because it was mainly implied.

Karren IS a previous candidate. She's doing well, I don't understand where the animosity towards her comes from on here.

Nah, personally I don't feel any animosity towards anyone this year...with the exception of Melody...ugh...it's just that with Karren, she seems to have a personality that makes it difficult to feel strongly about, positive or negative.

Following Karren's lead and blowing things out of proportion perhaps.
But seriously she just bores me, and she reminds me too much of my old headmistress.

Karren is OK. A bit blah, but OK. The extra "r" in her name annoys me slightly though

I hate her...snide cow...she sneers at all the candidates and relishes any opportunity to bring them down...she doesn't have the sharp wit of Margaret or the wise-man air of Nick and it shows...she looks amateurish and is trying too hard to be dramatic and cuthroat...she is also a hypocrite...leering at the involvement of those lingerie models during the magazine task...exactly how did you get your start in this industry Karren?

I think she suffers slightly because she's been put under more scrutiny, as she doesn't feel like part of the furniture in the way that Nick/Margaret did, and also because she's somewhat of a celebrity in her own right, rather than someone who we only learnt about via the show.

I will say that in terms of making things personal, neither Nick or Margaret were at all innocent. Both have played the man not the ball, and frequently.

I really like Karren. She's no Margaret, but I can find her quite funny at times.

Well, celebrity version, she herself has been in business, mainly football, a very long time.

In every controversial situation Karren's face and body language suggests she is sitting on the answer in silence, and she resents candidates who do not do it her way, or ask her opinion which of course they are not allowed to. She is not an impartial judge, she is a combatant.

I like Karren. At least you can see they (nick and her) are not mere statues. They have an oppinion and they exprese it. Good or bad for the canditates. And if one of the candidtates says something that was not true, there she is to point it out loud.

I think she is doing a good job.
