Just thinking about the concerts I've been to over the years and was thinking about who was the best, worst and which concert I enjoyed the most.

Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Ne-yo and Rihanna have been the best acts I've seen live with N-Dubz, Tinie Tempah, Example and Dizzee Rascal giving off the best atmosphere at their shows.

Acts I really didn't think were up to much vocally were JLS (seen them multiple times now and mimed most of the time), Basshunter (Again, mimes) and Florence and The Machine (Who was good vocally but didn't produce much of an atmosphere).

Who have been the BEST/WORST acts LIVE and where did you see them? Also, what are your opinions on the acts I have mentioned? Do you agree or disagree?

Agree with Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas and Katy Perry was surprisingly good!

Not really witnessed a "bad" gig yet *touches wood*

Good! Yes, a bad gig is always annoying Especially if you've paid a lot for the ticket!

Worst would be Jason Donovan- he played at a local party in the park thing, and it was so embarrassing,he did a cover of Take That's back for good which was stunningly bad, then it started raining and the microphone broke so he had to leave

Best- I took my mum to see Sir Cliff Richard back in 2008 for his 50th anniversary tour,I can honestly say out of all the concerts I've been too (and Ive been to a fair few) this was the stand out one,he actually blew me away with his performance he did 'Miss you nights' without any music and it brought a tear to my eye

McFly were a surprisingly good gig! I was more of a casual fan until I seen them and they are really fantastic live! They have so much energy and play all their instruments live, I was very impressed

I haven't really been to a bad gig either but JLS did mime through most of the show (I think) which was disappointing. Which is why I'm kind of apprehensive about buying Britney tickets, I'm not sure I'd want to sit through a concert which will be 60% mimed :/

Best - Leona Lewis, Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson.

Worst - Olly Murs. He wasn't that bad but I was dragged along by a friend so I wasn't there by choice like every other concert I've been to.

Best - Madonna's Blond Ambition at Wembley, Prince in 1994 at Wembley, The Bangles in 2003 in Manchester, and, best of all, Nanci Griffith at York.

Worst - Prince at Maine Road (I was rather ill) or Leeds Festival 2000, specifically Slipknot, who were bloody awful.

Best was Bruce and the E street band Wembley Stadium, never seen nothing like this since and I have seen over 100 concerts since that concert.

Worse... I dont go and see bad artists/bands in concert, never seen a bad one.

Best: Green Day at Manchester Cricket Ground, May 2010 - unbelievable atmosphere and was in the very front row, exchanged words with Billie Joe more than once. <3 Also Paul McCartney at Anfield.

Never really experience a bad gig, thankfully.

Best - impossible to choose just one. All of these were fantasitc:

Radiohead
Muse
Elbow
Yes
Luther van Dross
Prince
Michael Jackson
Stevie Wonder

Worst - Amy Winehouse I'm afraid. Love both her albums, her show was woeful - at the beginning of her first fall from grace just after Blake got sent down.

I went to see U2 at Wembley and I can only agree with you.The best one was 10000 Maniacs at the Royal Albert Hall in 1989.I had a crush on Natalie Merchant at the time.

Best
Madonna - Sticky & Sweet.
Britney Spears - Onyx Hotel.
Green Day - 21st Century Breakdown.
U2 - 360.
U2 - Vertigo.
The White Stripes.
Adele.
Beyoncé.

Worst
The Circus Starring Britney Spears.
Amy Winehouse - Oxegen.

I know I mentioned Britney in the two different lists, but it was like watching two different people. The funny, wild, energetic, actually singing most of her show live Britney was replaced with a zombie miming 90% of the show and just walking around. I can't wait to see her later this year though. She's made a massive improvement.

They're probably the very best and very worst out of all the shows I've been to.

you were at the gig?

i was at the fanclub gig 30 years later. amazing show

best gig, one of the many prince gigs, perhaps his accoustic show in his studio

worst gig, probably simple minds in 89 or so in glasgow. i don't really like them much but get free tickets and backstage passes for the free booze etc, but this gig went on for ages and they kept waffling on about biko and preaching and stuff. every song felt like an hour. i've seen them other times and it wasn't as bad, one was actually pretty decent, but this was full on 80s self importance pomp

the stones at hamden around the same time was crap too. more free tix, but at the back so couldn't see much and the sound was crap. the live album was crap too. steel wheels tour i think it was

actually i have to say a couple of fave gigs had amy winehouse. i saw her first tour in a club, front row before she embraced smack, and it was fantastic. and i saw her sing with prince at an afterparty, she was completely out of it and couldn't remember even doing the gig, but it was a wonderful moment. it's a shame she lost it

My best is Beyoncé for the performance and Britney for the atmosphere, with Kylie being right up there then Usher and Trey Songz are probably my worst (Trey's songs are a bit samey and I wasn't much of a fan of Usher's most recent album)

Best: Robert Plant and Jimmy Page on their Unledded Tour 1995
Runner Up: Kiss on their Sonic Boom over Europe Tour 2010

Worst: The Wolfe Tones 1994 (an Irish folk band that started out 40 years ago playing traditional and Republican ballads but have now degenerated into playing to drunken, Celtic top wearing, apolitical morons) I was bouncer at the gig and spent my time splitting up fights and turfing out projectile vomiting Belfast teens.

The Circus-Take That-was brilliant, Progress was good but not such a spectacle.

Billy Joel NEC 2006-remembering him playing the intro to angry young man still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!

Being a Cliff Richard fan from the age of 4, I have seen him many times since I was a teenager and they have all been good-especially the reunion with the Shadows 2 years ago.

Can't recall a bad concert tbh.
