Hi Everyone.

Went to see Take That last night - it was incredible but it took two hours to get off the car park. It was a nice surprise when John tweeted and made the wait a little less painful.

I think its a shame if he can't make JJ's fight for commitment reasons but even more so if he feels he can't come because of the crazy reception he might get. I think he should come to support his friend and not let fans intimidate him but at the same time it would be disappointing for JJ if all the attention was reflected onto John when it is his day.

So happy for Josie and her BBLB gig - she just keeps reaching for the stars and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if soon she is more at the forefront of television programmes. I just hope that one day Josie finds happiness with someone who loves her completely for her. I think it is clear in past interviews and her column that she would like nothing more to settle down with a husband and kids now and whilst she is still young there must be a part of her that is still massively disappointed that it didnt work out that way with John. Hopefully when her career becomes more stable she can focus on that aspect of her life - totally respect her for not continuing to date if her heart isn't in that place but feel desperately sorry for her if it is because it is still with John.

I know we aren't supposed to advertise Sherrie on here but I saw on twitter someone had stated that John has been posting on her facebook that he loves her and they are going crazy on the JJAT. I think this is absolutely hilarious. Firstly if John is writing 'Love you' to Sherrie then I find it really hard to believe - its only been three months since he left Josie and this is a guy who doesn't care about girls or had never been in love. Secondly the fact that people are going crazy saying how cute it is and making comments about Sherrie giving him so much 'sexercise' is laughable. They have never seen the two of them together, they have never even heard them speak about each other. All we have is staged pictures and an interview with John in which he later claimed she wasn't his girlfriend. This adoration for the girl clearly stems not from appreciation for her but their disapproval for Josie. Still hilarious that even then she is the centre of all discussion even it it is indirectly.

I talked about this earlier. JJAT believes it eventhough everything that account has said has been untrue, apparently so far. But they don't care they just go "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaw"

And then believers in this thread don't believe it and choose to believe that squirrel or whatever when he says John is pining or whatever

It's just whatever side you are on.

However, eventhough I have a hard time picturing John James to post sweet nothings to someones fb page, he was supposed to be very private about public affection, I do think he attaches himself rather quickly to people. He was saying "love you" to Josie like after 20 days or whatever..... And eventhough he said he had never been in love, according to his ex, that Jessica or whatever he apparently used to say he loved her all the time..... So, it's just John

That's human nature. There is a temptation to believe whatever fits into your own thoughts, hopes and desires.

Takes a great deal of strength of character to understand that other people have different ideas than yourself and to try and see things from anothers point of view.

In my opinion, there is a difference between saying "I love you" to someone and actually "falling in love with someone".
For some folk the two go hand in hand. I know my sister was completely in love with her fella before she plucked up the courage to tell him she loved him. Whereas, I was able to tell my fella that I loved him quite openly early on but can honestly say that the falling in love came after quite a few months.

Different strokes for different folks.

I'm sure we've debated on the thread before that 20 days in an environment like the BB house would be the equivalent of many more days on the outside due to the intense nature of the house and the amount of time the housemates all spent with each other.

I have been catching up on posts from overnight, has Josie confirmed she is going to JJs fight?

With regard to the Loys getting access to JJ, have they ever been to a boxing match? I doubt very much they will get within 100yds of him, pre-match he will be locked away with his manager/trainer having a pep talk and psyching himself up, his family will not even be allowed to see him. After the match he will NOT be doing a walkabout, this is not a pa or meet and greet, he will be ushered into his area I would be surprised if he communicates with anyone he will be on such a high he will be buzzing, there will also be press interest & interviews, If he gets the opportunity he may go to watch the main fight of the evening, I really don't think the Loys will be top of his agenda, however thats not to say they won't enjoy the time but if they are going only to see/speak to jj up close then I think they are going to be disappointed.

Maybe John decided that as JJ is supposed to be visiting Oz after his fight it wasn' worth all the travelling.

JJ has also said on twitter that he is grateful to everyone that is going & realises that if John had been going more would have shown up. He's not oblivious to this.

Of course, it will depend on whether any special events happen, any mag articles, any tweeting that needs expert decoding, a whole host of hellos, goodbyes and goodnights, as well as birthdays and music festivals and all the rest of it.

Ok, just putting this out there to see if there's any interest in this. Please do reply if you are at all interested in attending so I have an idea of numbers.

Location: London

Date: Saturday 27th August 2011

Venue: A very nice public house (undisclosed for now)

Purpose: To mark John's birthday AND raise money for charity.


The Birthday Bit: Now I know what you're thinking. The 27th isn't John's birthday. That's right, it isn't. However, during the meet it will turn midnight in Australia and thus will be John's birthday.

The Charity Bit: If you come to the meet to mark John's birthday then you agree to make a suggested donation of £10. ALL money donated will be given to Cancer Research UK. No hidden deductions or expenses. Every penny will go to the charity.


Security: Depending on numbers, to in part ensure member safety and comfort in a public space, I have come up with a security measure for the event. Details of this will be made nearer the time. In short, if you're not a fan and you're thinking of sneaking into the meet...don't bother!
