Golden Wonder 'Normous Noodles
I got a couple of these yesterday. It was an impulsive buy as they were on special offer.
Not impressed. I've just had the chilli inferno and it wasn't that hot. Also my satchet of mango chutney wasn't in the tub. It didn't have much flavour so had to add my own soy, vinegar, garlic, chilli and chicken powder. May as well have made my own |

A while ago when I first discovered Golden Wonder were doing Pot Noodles again, I thought great - Pot Noodles has reduced salt and seemed to messed around with the flavour - since Golden Wonder were the original makers of Pot Noodle I figured they would taste like the old ones or at least better than "new" pot noodles.
But they just tasted wrong. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I have seen the new bigger version but I wouldn't touch them after the last tasting. |

Tesco do a Golden Wonder Pot Noodle (normal size) for about 38 pence and the spicy curry one is very good also contains a sachet of sauce.

Golden Wonder (Symingtons) now produce The Nation's Noodle and 'Normous Noodle. Unilever own the Pot Noodle brand.

It was an impulse buy and I doubt I will buy them or Pot Noodles again unless absoluted needed.
I might still try those (maggi ?) noddles in the ethnic section though |

Much better making Japanese Soba Noodles and making your own Dashi stock your only limited by your own imagination.
I started watching the cookery programmes on NHK television channel 507 on Sky, there are also lots of interesting documentaries. |

these noodles are way nicer than pot noodles and shop branded variants but they have dissapeared of online supermarkets.
is this an abandoned product (no mention of it on golden wonders own website) or is it one of those weird things where the supermarket refuses to sell online and only in store? |

ASDA and Morrisons certainly still stock them instore. No idea if they're just selling the last of the stock though.
You could ask here http://symingtons.com/our-brands/the-nations-noodle/ |
