Looking at the ratings, im quite pleased to be 10th and 3 points off pace, I didnt do that well last night, only Glee & X-Factor USA I got even close to right.

I continue to suck at predicting C4 factual.

Always friendly in this thread - only in the Ratings thread do some of the guys lose their cool I do see you as the yardstick here - so if I can finish ahead I know I am usually doing okay. We are pretty close on the last 7 predictions - all are within 0.2m-0.6m so it may go down to the wire - of course you could score 20 points more than I can this weekend, it is all in the decimal points.

I confess im not sure why I am being judged as the yardstick, ok I started slow but I have improved, been Top 10 most of the week, and obviously won once.

That said I agree couple of times recently it has depended on what rating is used, or if something is round up or town, if I scored 5 points or not.

Maybe im just the yardstick for you, and not the whole table.

For me the yardstick is the other 30+ players in this game

Well indeed, everyone is up and down - I think sometimes it just feels better to finish in the top half, coming in the bottom 10 can sting a little. Scores seems to be up for most people this week - I can see the top score being in the 50's easily.
Charnham
24-09-2011
no question it feels better to bet in the top half, I personally would quite like to get to the stage where I often finish Top 10, but friendly rivalry aside im not going to be happy about finishing near the bottom, if you are below me.

Also I cant get too competitive this season, this is my first season, and my first few weeks were poor, next season ill be able to get a much better score, or even a decent average. Most I can do is put up 2 wins and ill be happy with that.

Given that there is another 45 points up for grabs, yes a few of us could well score 50 points, it would be my first time.

Very close board this week - looks like almost everyone is within 10 points of the 1st place. Still 35 points available so it can all change, with 2 specials remaining and 3 regular programmes. It is possible for players to score a massive 60+ points - not sure what the current record is. I as usual will be happy with 40 points.

Just Calendar Girls tonight - then Super Sunday tomorrow.

Well I went from 18th to 18th I believe - Calendar Girls could do anything tonight. I only just noticed it ends at 23:45 which will no doubt drag down the numbers as it is very late for the target audience - I went 1.2m and Charnham went 1.6m, so if I get a 5 - he gets a 2 Result!!
Charnham

but if it gets 2 million, im going to get more points than you. Im actually wondering if I should have gone a little higher.

anyways I need to find some new shows for my ratings prediction week, its not proving as easy as I thought it would, ooh and make predictions for next week.

* Average score: 29.0 points.
* Not only did Roscoe Barnes extend their lead with that 5er, but he's now only 2 points behind Andy Parish in the overall season charts!
* jackie4shopping fell 8 places overnight meaning they are today's biggest mover at #21.
* Good luck with tonight's predictions which include specials The X Factor and Downton Abbey.
* With two lots of double points for the taking, who will emerge victorious tomorrow in this penultimate week of Season 15?
* Since the leaderboard is so close still it could be just about anybody I think!

6 points off pace, isnt looking good for me this weeks, even if there are 30 points left.

Ah things are getting tense. I think I've over predicted TXF though based on last nights rating of 10.0m. But there is 4 shows for today - the last week of the season is going to be interesting!

Indeed. It's definitely going down the the wire.

I suggest the Top 4 PM their predictions to make it really interesting. Thoughts anyone?

I just did some number crunching - if I score 30 out of 30 (groans!) I can win by one point! I would say the odds are a minimum 9/1 for each show - or an accumulative 9,999/1.... to get all 4 correct, so place your bets

Looking at Charnham's predictions - it is possible to win, and maximum points are not required either. A top half finish would be good enough for me personally.

Just to let you know I'm working on a new website for the DSRPG for Season 16. It will have all the game stats, player profiles, tables, and much much more...

If anyone has a feature request let me know and I'll consider it.

I may have pipped Charnham this week - but I will wait for the official result. No sign of the F1 rating yet, I did score 2 on my 1st back-up - but I am expecting to be closer to the F1 rating.

Some high scores this week - with 50 points and more being scored!! (subject to official confirmation.)
