I have been holding out on buying a dvd recorder, and reading all reviews, I had been set on a Panasonic recorder. Recently, the Panny DMR-E85H was very tempting, but down side was no dv-camcorder i.Link and pc/sd card slots, which was odd. The DMR-E95HEBS sounds fantastic, but out of my price range.

However, I have been very tempted with the new Toshiba RDXS32SB, it seems to have everything, and I do believe it has a dv connection, although not sure about i-Link card slot.

Does anyone have the Toshiba? Not many reviews out there yet! From what I have read, it isn't as easy as the Panasonic to operate. I was tempted with the panasonic DMR-E65EBS, which has everything apart from the hard disk - that seems to me a better deal than the hard disk DMR-E85H.

Can anyone help me with their knowledge of these models. Do I go with the Panasonic DMR-E65EBS without the hard disk, or the Toshiba RDXS32SB with the hard disk. I am a bit nervous about going for anything other than panasonic, as they seem to be the firm leaders in dvd recorders. help someone please!

Thank you
