Converting .RMJ files to MP3 or similar?
DavidT
10-12-2001
I have a colleague who has 1,000+ files in .rmj format (Real media Jukebox) and who now wants to use them on Windows Media player.

Media player does not recognise this format. Is there a way of converting them to MP3 or something similar that media player does recognise please?

Any help would be appreciated and please keep it as simple as possible!

Thanks in advance.

oops wrong format, Real Audio is very much a propietary format, so there are likely to be few converters around. If you could get them to convert them to WAV you could then encode them with a standard MP3 encoder. As I know of no Real Audio plugin for winamp I am not sure of how you would write them to WAV, look around the Real software to see if there's an option to convert them to WAV.
