Anything that involved Ruth Badger dominating with sales. Love her.

Marrakesh. The only episode I've re-watched. People have mentioned many of the classic moments, but let's not forget Lee's alarm clock impression. Although it is easy to mock him for that, the guy he was talking to immediately knew what he was after, so compare that with everybody other than Melody in France this year.

I cannot remember the name but for me it was the London Taxi office where a male candidate came in and told whopping lies to get some books.
The woman behind the desk was laughing under her breath as she listened in disbelief. His sister's wedding or Granny dying I think. |

Tre being bemused about the quality of the paintings he was being asked to sell ... " It's all tits and fish "
"WHO'S DOING THE FCUKING MINCING ? " The one where they take massive lumps of crap cheese to France and then dump it all in the bin at the ferry terminal on the way home. One of the best bits was the ex army guy trying to cook their designer sausages on a cut apart bean tin with a candle ![]() Katie Holmes .... something like " You only have 3 speeds, slow, slow and slow " She and Tre are the most entertaining candidates ever. |

Cannot beat Ambrose and the Shopping channel effort, one of the funniest pieces of tv ever, it actually had me crying with laughter, his commentary coupled with his actions screwing on the leg and being totally oblivious, absolutely, absolutely superb

Sorry to revive an old thread, but just stumbled upon it and cannot believe no one remembered Adam Eliaz's Flex'n'Store from Junior Apprentice Series 1? The multi-purpose shoe-storage facility and games table made of sturdy cardboard that was supposedly ideal for camping! Still can't believe he didn't get fired for that...

Things done well: Ruth Badger selling; Zoe in YA showing how to talk to artists without bullshit or bombast; James Max's pep talk to the team in the final, that made peace between Paul and Saira.
Nick's deadpan revelations: chicken pizza and sandalwood. Margaret's asides: "I think Edinburgh isn't what it used to be." |

"'Im a Catholic," whispered Nick to Margaret. "You're a Protestant. We know what kosher is and Michael doesn't! He did classics at Edinburgh." "Edinburgh," said Margaret sadly, "isn't what it was." |

My issue with Stella was not so much her performance on the tasks, it is that she was quite plainly overqualified for the role, and that was completely obvious. I can't understand why Sugar didn't realise that, as he's usually pretty good at picking up on that (James and Paul in Series 1 obvious examples.)

![]() ![]() As for my favourite episode of all time? I think it would have to be the infamous chicken pizza disaster; not one person on that team had two brain cells to rub together. Nick Hewer's face as he watched all the trolleys of enormous Christmas turkey-sized chickens and wheels of cheese coming into the kitchen. Of course, the best episodes are the ones where the biggest disasters happened. A few others come to mind: Series 4 Episode 6: The bloke from Bristol in a card making task who went on an environmental crusade and lectured the buyers at the card companies for wasting paper in a bid to get them to... buy more cards? Still haven't a clue what they thought they were doing there. Series 4 Episode 7: The Kosher chicken revelation. Michael, possibly the smarmiest candidate ever, got rumbled for calling himself a "nice Jewish boy" on his CV to try to get in with Sugar. The part where I completely lost it was when he crossed himself as he was walking back into the boardroom. Also a favourite because the ginger lady who was notorious for turning on people in the board room based on who Sugar seemed to have a beef with got rumbled and was fired instantly. Series 6 Episode 2: The episode where the women developed the worst product ever. They were told to develop a "beach accessory" and they came up with a plastic music stand that you stick in the sand. I think that was the only product development task where zero orders were received. Not even the usual "sympathy order" of 50 from the huge multinational buyer. Series 6 Episode 6: "OCTICLEEEAN!!!" - worst two adverts ever produced, even by Apprentice standards. |

I have to say Simon's demonstration of the trampoline was the best for me and not only that but Sir Alan's comments on it was funny too. LOOK AT WHERE YOU'VE GOT THE BLOODY THING RESTING ON!!!!!!! LOL

He was from Bath actually. I'm a Bristol boy, and Kevin is certainly not one of us!
![]() Come to think of it, was Kevin the only candidate ever to come from the South West? Has there ever been a Welsh candidate?

I'm Irish, so you'll have to excuse me for not hearing the nuances in the accents. I usually get close! But close is really not good enough in England, is it? Like the time I almost got punched for mistaking a man from Sunderland for a Geordie!
![]() Come to think of it, was Kevin the only candidate ever to come from the South West? Has there ever been a Welsh candidate? ![]() There haven't been many candidates from the South West. The only Welsh candidate there has been (to the best of my knowledge) is Rhys Rosser from the first series of Junior Apprentice. I think there may be a Welshman in Series 9 as well as one of the accents on the trailer sounds a little like it, though I may be wrong. |

The Marrakesh one for sure. I. Always loved series 5 and I loved the sandalwood episode and the toga one. Seeing James in a toga is priceless!

Stella was not overqualified for a year being mentored in entrepreneurship by Lord Sugar himself, but that turned out not to be the prize. |

You see, this is why I think Laura should have won Series 6. She was by no means the best on the tasks, but she and Stuart were really the only ones who were actually apprentice material, and Laura had a lot more integrity than Stuart.
