Agatha Chrisite's Marple: Series 6?
Will there be another series of Agatha Chrisite's Marple? I have throughly enjoyed all five series and hope there will be at least one more series! It's a shame there will be only one more series left of Poirot so please let there be more Marple!

If the budget is there to make another series then it's possible.Once they make "A Caribbean Mystery" all the Miss Marple feature length stories will have been done.

It would be great if they did a Series 6 - there is still A Caribbean Mystery to be filmed, plus they could always adapt some of the Miss Marple short stories (they did The Blue Geranium from the short story collection The 13 Problems), plus there is Miss Marples Final Cases which could be adapted into films - they can probably add in some lesbians (like they did with The Body In The Library), and some dodgy government secret subplots to build it up.

I too hope there will be more as Julia McKenzie is fitting nicely into the role. The fact that nearly all the Miss Marple stories have been filmed wont worry ITV as they repeatedly rewrite non Marple stories from Agatha Christie to include her. If done well, I have no objection to that.

No More Titles
The problem, if any, is the Christie Estate/Copyright holder. If they are prepared to approve the use of disparate pieces of work to assemble a feature title, as they did with the Poirot series; then no doubt this very popular and let's face it lucrative series will continue
