3series recordings out of 4 have already failed today Friday.. viz..
Emmerdale FAILED with icon saying unknown..
Dinnerdate FAILED with Unknown icon
Eastenders FAILED with NO icon at all..
I wonder if i should tell Humax?
I thought the new GUIDE was supposed to stop all these failures?

Eastenders (BBC1 HD) recorded OK on my hdr but Emmerdale (ITV1 - HD Granada) failed. I had to record it on Freeview from ITV1 + 1.

I did not the record Dinnerdate.

Since you told me about the benefits Graham our E'dale too is the NW one..and the Chester Zoo Ads no longer puzzle us..
however i now crosscheck with Freeview and thankfully the Panny recorded it OK..Although Janet with her new glasses says the picture is not as clear as her normal Sky one..
..
Janet had watched the lady PhD in Psychology [NO less!!] on Dinner-Date..so no problems there.
Nothing else was progged or even viewed during the evening so very strange..however thinking about it the set was in Standby all day..

Emmerdale & Eastenders failed for me. I checked the epg a few times for EE because the tennis was shown on BBC1 & it was there by 7.55. The tennis signed off & stupidly I turned off and went out to bbq. I should have checked first that it was recording.

I could have recorded it on freesat but had run out of tuners..

I wonder if other boxes apart from Sagem and Humax failed to record it.

Set Foxsat HDR to record Question of Sport Friday evening, spotted during evening that recording had not started on time, woke up Humax to find that tennis was still in progress. My recordings are set to Auto, so presumed because of change in programs, no signal to start. Am I right?

Correct same thing happened to Eastenders earlier in the week which switched to BBC2.
